What is Lifestyle Design International and Will it Scam You?

Last Updated: January 2, 2019 //  by John

lifestyle-design-international-reviewThere isn’t much being told on the Lifestyle Design International site and I know it can be frustrating to a lot of you.

I myself got really confused as to what their product is and what needed to be done as it wasn’t really mentioned in any of their sales pages.

What I do know is that there is a lot of hype surrounding this product, so I decided to put together this Lifestyle Design International review for those of you still on the fence about joining something with such a high price and little info.

Is Lifestyle Design International a scam?

What is it even about?

Will I really make money using this product?

There are many questions that have little to no answers and I would like to help clarify some things for you so that you know exactly what it is that you will be getting yourself into before even paying a single penny.

Lifestyle Design International Review

Name: Lifestyle Design International

Owners: Jeff Lerner and Andrew Cass

Website: www.lifestyledesigninternational.com

Price: $49 + Up-sells

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Product Overview

Lifestyle Design International  is the product of Jeff Lerner and Andrew Cass who are both not new to the world of making money online.

Jeff Lerner has his experience with other products like The Millionaire Operating System as well as the Ultimate Laptop Lifestyle, while Andrew Cass has more experience in the real world doing training and events pertaining to the wealth and wellness type niches.

There is no tangible product associated with this site but rather a membership that provides you with training on affiliate marketing as well as other tools to help you build your online business.

The Products

If you were only on the site without an invitation, you will get very little information on what you will actually be getting.

Go to “join their team” and it will lead you to the site I mentioned earlier (Ultimate Laptop Lifestyle), which is their initial product used with this marketing funnel.

After that, you will be hit with all the marketing promoting their lifestyle dream retreats, which is actually what the Lifestyle Design International is really about.

Confusing, I know, but this is all part of the marketing that they speak of and what you are really buying.

So if you can understand what just happened from the point you joined, made your first purchase, all the way up until you gave into the thousand dollar products, you will get exactly what you will be getting.

This is nothing new to the online world and there are many of them out there that not only sell the same digital lifestyle product but also the dream and hype that you are presented with.

Digital Altitude, the Empower Network, and many other high ticket products were created and of course not all of them will last.

The Price

Here’s where things get kinda crazy and this is also how you will be able to make those high figures that you see some of its members talking about.

For starters, you have the $49/month “Laptop Lifestyle application kit”, which is gateway to their high ticket products, which consist of retreats that are not going to be some $49 either.

Just know that these future up-sells are going to be in the thousand dollar range and it will be required to purchase before you are able to make any money.

How Lifestyle Design International Really Works

In a nutshell, this is nothing but a marketing funnel that sucks you in and also the same funnel you will be using to get others to do the same.

And yes, it is really that simple.

I have been apart of and seen way too many of these sites, that explaining how they work is starting to get redundant.

But, I am always about providing the information that is needed before any of the readers on this site make a final decision as in most cases, most end up regretting it after it’s too late.

So allow me to explain a little more on how this whole thing works.

Everything starts with Marketing

How about a fancy marketing video or something catchy?

They get you interested, (regardless if you are making money or not) and have you go through a process.

In this case, they are using the whole “lifestyle design” trick which I’m sure everyone and their mothers dream about and has you more excited than ever about actually making money online.

In most cases, that’s all it is and you can see that if you take a look at their income disclaimer.

This is very much needed and it is also what saves a lot of owners from going to court to fight their legal battles with unhappy campers.

Opting in

Once you watch a video or even just read some of the stuff on the actual site, you will then have to put your email address somewhere and that is so they can be able to contact you to promote their products at a later date.

Email marketing is definitely a method I was sure they will implement and that is exactly what they have done.

More Marketing and More Spending

Once you get in for their $49 deal, get ready for more marketing and some up-sells.

The same marketing that they use to get you to purchase these products is the same marketing that will be used to get others to join you.

This is what they mean by “having their team close these sales for you”.

That is really all there is to it and if you can see yourself doing just that, then this might just be the program for you.

Personally, this is not how I roll and although I have been with companies like this in the past, I will never promote another program for the sake of making me money.

In the end, not everyone will succeed and the only real winners will be the owners who make money every single time one of its affiliates make a sale.

This is also why I love one of their quotes on their site as it is really true and the same goes with their hidden agenda.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Can make you money
  • Decent training
  • High commissions

Cons:

  • No real product
  • Training is designed to promote LDI
  • Marketing is used against you
  • Overpriced
  • No refunds
  • Only 1% will actually make a decent income
  • Is nothing but a marketing funnel

Like I said, there are many programs exactly like this and I have been apart of some in my career.

I made some money but knowing that not everyone I bring in will even break even was enough for me to not take thousands of dollars from someone who most likely can’t afford to lose it.

Say what you want to say about not working hard enough, but there is really nothing of true value here and everything is designed for you to try and get others to purchase the high ticket products.

As far as training and marketing is concerned, it is definitely not worth the price and you can see how this matches up to a much better product that costs a lot less.

It is also the same program I use, so I know it works and is also able to bring in thousands of dollars a month, without having to spend thousands.

So is Lifestyle Design International a Scam?

Definitely not a scam although some people may disagree with me.

Remember that little income disclaimer I mentioned earlier?

That my friend does a lot and one is to protect the owners of this site.

Now whether or not I recommend it is a different story as I am not a fan of this style of marketing simply because it’s not in favor of its affiliates although that’s what they want you to think.

Why not do some good old affiliate marketing and sell some actual products instead?

That’s what I do and although I don’t make $1,000 from one sale, I’d rather run a solid business rather than take money from innocent people.

That’s just me though, so use your judgement before committing to anything.

Conclusion

Lifestyle Design International is not for everyone even if we all want to make thousands of dollars on the internet.

With 1% of its members making almost all the money, do you really think it is a legitimate way to make money online?

I’m not the biggest MLM fan, but I will definitely tell you to join something like Melaleuca before I recommend Lifestyle Design International.

LDI brings nothing new to the table and I can not recommend this hype to anyone.

Well that’s all from me and I hope I have given you a better understanding of how this whole funnel works so that you can make a wiser decision.

I’m sure a lot of the members of this site will disagree as they of course are promoting them but I do believe those that know nothing about making money online need to know the truth.

Whether you are a member or not, I would like to know your thoughts on this product, so please do share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Is this really a solid product or is this just another hyped program that will eventually disappear?

I have been trying to find info on LDI and i paid 49 dollars to start up with them (they never said anything about this being monthly) and every time i spoke with my one on one coach he was trying to get me to purchase the $149 premium membership (which is a monthly fee) and he told me if i didnt there wouldnt be much money to be made through the company as an entry level marketer so i have taken the week to find what i could on the company and this really helps me make my decision. I will not be investing anything into this company after reading this because the better business bureau had no information on them. you cant believe what people are saying when they share a link because the link i clicked on said they had an A+ but when going on their site the BBB had no rating for LDI and thats why i am here

It’s kinda fun to see these reviews all over the Internet. Clearly you’re not a successful Internet Marketer, if you were, you would know that money can be made from almost all companies around.

You just need to master 3 simple steps:

Step 1 – You create a high ticket product that people would happily pay premium prices for. If you are not experienced enough to create one, find someone who has such a product and promote theirs.

Step 2 – Create a high converting sales funnel to promote your high ticket product. If you are not experienced enough to create one, find someone with a high ticket product and a killer funnel and promote their funnel.

Step 3 – Drive high quality traffic to your sales funnel. If you are not experienced enough to do so, then learn how to do it and get going.

When you get these 3 steps right, you can consistently get sales on demand and re-invest that money back into more traffic, which creates systematic, exponential growth.

That’s how I made hundreds of thousands of dollars from CCP, EN, DA, MOBE, WA and many more…

So before trashing every single business that you can’t afford, you should actually test them.

    Peace

I’m not a successful online marketer? Because I am not affiliated with one of the ponzi schemes you were in does not mean that I am not successful. I very much went “all in” with the Empower Network my friend and after figuring out that I was in nothing but a recruiting scheme I just cut my losses and moved on. EN was the biggest scam out there and DA was just shutdown last month yet you still want to talk about them like they’re legit? Can you please show me a real company that is not recruiting? You speak so highly of your scam formula so you obviously don’t even know what you’re talking about. Are you okay?

SCAM. Nothing is explained about the type of work a person will be doing, or even exactly what this so-called company is. But you sure have your paws out ready to take people’s money. You should be ashamed of yourself. Stop robbing innocent people, get a REAL job and get me off your stupid mailing list too.

John, I have just paid for a premium membership with LDI and happened to read your blog on it. If this is a scam, then I will terminate my membership so as to stop the monthly recurring fee of $149.00; by the way is Wealthy Affiliate for real? Alan

Wealthy Affiliate is as real as it gets. Unlike these high ticket programs that require recruiting, you will be building your own business. Digital Altitude just got shutdown by the FTC last month and it is no different than this or any high ticket program so keep that in mind Alan. They may have some training and whatnot but we all know that the reason anyone would join anything like Lifestyle Design is to make money, right?

I have actually been one to invest a fair amount of money and i am attending my first freedom experience in Las Vegas in 2 weeks. I have already made money on this and I have not promoted one thing on my own. I guess if you’re willing to invest your time into making it work than it probably is going to do you good just as it has me. If not i guess it isn’t for you.

That’s great Haley until it gets exposed and comes crashing down just like Digital Altitude. Even if I wanted to promote this type of stuff, it is really only a matter of time before the FTC gets involved and sees exactly how money is “made”. All I have to say is good luck and maybe get out while you’re ahead because they are the same exact program that DA was and there is no difference.

    Hi,
I am so happy I read your review. I was contemplating the $2400. Freedom weekend, but didn’t want to go until I “got my feet wet” in the business. Now I am getting out of the business-don’t like snakes!
    Thank you,

    John:
I just read your piece, and I am extremely grateful for the information you provided.
At the present I am looking for a venture to get into, so I do not have a website. I have only invested $49.00 and that is all I will be donating,as your insight was very
    insightful, and forthcoming.
I believe “Wealthy Affilliate” to be the much better option

    THANK YOU

Yeah that would be your best bet and $49 is all you have to pay without having to pay for anything else. I really still can’t believe how the cheapest program I’ve ever paid for is the only one that is making me thousands. How crazy is that?!
