Swagbucks
I’m sure we all think that getting paid for searching the web and doing simple tasks will not make you money but this very site might have you looking at things differently.
Within this Swagbucks review I want to not only explain how everything works but to also show you why this isn’t your typical cash back or rewards program type of website.
I am personally not a fan of the whole rewards program, but this very one is on my list of legitimate websites that pay the best without investing a single penny.
Not only is it easy to make money with almost no effort, cashing out is a lot easier as well.
So let’s continue with this review so you can be on your way to making some money with one of the few legitimate cash back sites out there.
Swagbucks is now offering a $10 signup bonus!
So What Exactly is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is a program that rewards you for doing things that you are already doing online, like shopping and searching the web.
There are other ways to get these “Swagbucks”, which you will receive in the form of a gift card.
It is ran off of Bing’s search engine so you won’t be getting the same results as you would with Google, so keep that in mind.
What it’s Going to Cost You
It is completely free to join Swagbucks and there are no strings attached.
So if you come across a rewards program that is asking you to pay something, you might want to do your research and read some reviews as that is most likely a scam.
Who This is For
This is the perfect site for anyone who is looking to make some pocket change without putting in any work.
Now if you are looking to make some real income online, you might want to go with something like the Wealthy Affiliate instead.
Forge about having to think of wha to do, you just do some simple tasks and yes, you will make money.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Completely free to join
- Offers gift cards for well known online retailers
- Rewards for programs you are already using
- Points are worth something
Cons:
- Can be time consuming and distracting
- Gift cards are limited
- You don’t earn points for every search
Earning Swagbucks Points
There are several ways to earn points and doing a search (like you would in Google) is one of them. You don’t earn much, but it does add up.
You can also use the other ways, that are shown on your homepage, which is by filling out surveys, using coupons, and playing games. Like I stated earlier, you earn these points for doing things you are already doing.
With these points, you can redeem them at the “Swag store” which you can exchange for prizes. There is no cash value, but they do come in the form of a gift card from some sites that you probably shop on, like Amazon and Target to name a few.
What Points are Worth
Every 100 Swagbuck is worth about $1.
So if you want an Amazon gift card that’s worth $5, you would need to get 500 Swagbucks, so it’s not always worth the same value
Most of the time it’s a 100/$1 ratio though.
How Swagbucks Makes Money
So you’re probably wondering, how in the world do these guys even make their money? It is a very simple concept and these guys are killing it!
First of all, this is a very crafty idea and I gotta give props to these guys for doing an outstanding job.
For now, I’ll just sit here and watch these guys run this site.
Here’s how it works. Every time you do a search, purchase something, or fill out some type of survey, these guys are getting paid (cash). This is all things that are involved with this thing called affiliate marketing, which is a great way to make money online.
The owners of this company have done a great job of using the internet to their advantage and have done this by giving back.
I do recommend you try something like affiliate marketing, as that is the absolute best way to make money online.
Is it Swagbucks Worth it?
Swagbucks is definitely worth your time, especially if you don’t have any money to invest into a real online business.
Along with Ibotta, this is one of my favorite cash back sites that I recommend..
In the end it is totally up to you and if you but just know that these guys will not scam you as they have been paying its members for many years..
I hope you have learned a thing or two from this Swagbucks review but I think it’s time you get out there and make some points from which you can redeem for actual cash.
Thanks for reading and good luck!

I used Swagbucks and I have to say its so slow. After struggling, I found another website similar and got right on. Luckily, I have over $600 and ihad no regrets at all. Just easy polls, answering question was all I had to do. Comparing both I was amazed of how much I made. Try it and good luck 😀 http://www.prizerebel.com

Swagbucks from my experience seems to revolve around the offers and not the surveys. The surveys themselves are limited and not worth the time you put into them. There are many better survey related sites out there that would not waste your time like Swagbucks. It’s a template style offer page more or less. One survey site people seem to have more luck with is http://surveyhomebeginnings.org . The success varies from person to person on the specific surveys they do but they do have more success than the low paying survey/offer sites out there.
