For me, it’s those dang receipts from McDonald’s that offer the buy one get one free deal.

That is probably the most underused offer, which I think is a really great deal.

Within the online space, it is possible to get somewhat of the same deal but you won’t be getting any Quarter Pounders or Egg McMuffins.

However, you can get some gift cards or even some cold hard cash!

Okay, that statement was a bit much, but it is very much possible to make some money taking surveys online.

By giving your two cents on different topics, you will get compensated for doing so.

I bring up the whole McDonald’s thing because some of you might be thinking that you can’t actually get paid for something so simple, so if they’re doing it, why can’t others?

Just to clarify some things here, I just want you to know that you can definitely make money taking surveys online.

Unlike before where you can earn $5 even for just one survey, the pay to take these surveys has really decreased and it’s very hard to find sites that pay good money.

Now with some digging, some testing, and even more digging, I have managed to not only find legitimate survey sites, but those that pay the best.

Again, you will not make as much money as you would if you started your own online business but you can make some pocket change.

Survey Junkie – This is the hottest survey site right now and they even pay cash as well as gift cards. With a very user friendly interface and an easy payment system, this is one of my favorite survey sites.

Swagbucks – These guys will pay you for doing surveys as well as other simple tasks so you won’t get bored with this one. Just like SJ, they also pay in cash and gift cards.

Survey Rewardz – Another great survey site that pays in cash and gift cards.

There are many other survey sites out there but these 3 sites alone will keep you busy for awhile.

How You Will Get Paid

If you will be getting paid by cash, you will need a Paypal account as these sites all pay using Paypal cash and don’t have the option to transfer directly to your bank account or even through checks.

Every survey taken offers a different amount of what they will offer you so don’t be expecting to make $3 for every single survey you take.

There is also a minimum threshold before you can cash out, which is usually around $10, even if it’s for one of their gift cards.

Are Survey Sites Worth it?

If you have $0 to your name then of course it is worth it to make money taking surveys online.

The best part about everything here is the fact that you don’t need to pay a single penny to get started as they are all free to join.

So depending on your budget and/or goals will really determine if this is worth that very important time of yours.

Personally, I think your time is your biggest asset and although I recommend survey sites to anyone who has no money, there are definitely better ways to make money online.

For starters, you might want to create your own blog as that is a great place to not only make money but also give you the knowledge that it takes to make the big bucks on the internet.

Most people get into other things but the foundation for all money making will come back to your website.

The same knowledge it takes to make money with a blog applies to almost every other method of making money online.
