Surge 365 Review: Scam or Legit Travel Business?

So I was introduced to this company and all I thought was “not another travel MLM”.

Most I’ve seen were typical ponzi scheme scams and the ones that were legit eventually lost its hype and disappeared.

So now we have Surge 365, which is not just a home based business focused on travel (again) but they had some claims that got me a little more interested.

No recruiting and no selling.

Take those two things out of the equation and you can only wonder how in the world could you possibly make any money.

So just like I do before joining any company, business, or so called opportunity, I did my research to see what all the hype was about.

Is this just another hyped based network marketing gig or is this a real deal, solid foundation, with solid product business?

With the many flopped companies of its kind, will this one be any different?

Let’s dig a little deeper and we shall see if this is truly a solid opportunity or just a bunch of hype that will once again leave almost all its members earning less than $500/year.

So What Exactly is Surge 365?

Yet another home based business targeting the travel industry, start your very own home based business by selling travel packages and/or recruiting others to do the same.

Founded in 2015, the company is very much in its early stages but only time will tell how and where everything goes within the next year.

There are no tangible products but rather travel discounts and a Surge 365 membership that you can sell to make you money.

How Surge 365 Works

Rather than recruiting and dealing with multiple levels to make money, Surge 365 has several ways in which you can make money.

At least that’s what I thought.

However, network marketing wouldn’t be network marketing without a good old recruiting program and yes, Surge 365 has one in place.

Not much of a difference from other travel MLMs but they do offer a few other options from which you can make money from.

1. Vortex technology – By simply sharing the company with others and having them book a cruise, vacation, or hotel, you will get paid. They buy, you earn.
2. Your Personal Travel Agency – Book tours, cruises, and weddings from which you can make money.
3. Share the Surge Business – Share the same videos and tools you were introduced to and you too can make money in the process. Along with this, you get your typical cash bonuses and luxury car type of deal.

What did make me a little skeptical is their $1million bonus, which I’m sure requires recruiting thousands of people that of course make purchases, so let’s just leave that to the side for now.

This can easily be seen simply because they have only paid out a little over $2million in bonuses.

In order to achieve something like that, you will need to be one of the first to get into the company and recruit one of those big MLMers.

Other than that, this is almost impossible to achieve.

The Price

Once again, I thought it was free to join Surge 365 but I was wrong.

From their sales video it sounded too good to be true and that’s exactly what it was when I decided to give it a test drive.

• Travel Agent – $99 license fee + $39.95 monthly subscription fee and then $39.95 every month after.
• Membership Only – $199 license fee + $59.95 monthly subscription along with a $59.95 monthly payment.
• Vortex Platinum – $399 license fee + $59.95 monthly subscription as well as $59.95 every month after.

If any of these prices seem too high for your budget, there is an option for you to become a Surge 365 Business Associate (SBA), which only costs $10/month.

There is also a Wealth Builder Academy which is offered free for 30 days and then you will be charged $30 every month after.

They offer this but there is no explanation as to what you will be getting, so I really don’t know why they are promoting it.

*All memberships come with a 5.99% processing fee

For an MLM business, this is very much affordable but what is in it for you?

Let’s get into what type of income potential you can expect if you decide to purchase one of these packages.

Compensation Plan

Making money is the fuel behind this company and any other MLM for that matter.

So for being a member of Surge 365, you are able to make money through sales of products and services and of course through the recruitment of others.

You can also expect bonuses and other incentives like a luxury car if you excel in the overall business.

As a newly enrolled SBA, you will earn $30 for personal Surge 365 membership sales.

Make 7 total sales with 3 of them being personally enrolled members and you will then be qualified for the Team Builder Level.

Make 3 sales in your first 60 days as an SBA and you will become a team builder as well.

Each Vortex Plus sale counts as 1 point and Vortex Platinum sales count as 2.

If you earn 14 points you get a $1,000 bonus and I’m sure this alone is why you see a lot of people actively promoting Surge 365.

There are always different promotional bonuses offered at different times, so be expecting these incentives to change quite often but the current big ones are the $10,000 and $1million bonuses.

The company does operate in a 2×6 matrix, so you will be able to earn $2 for every person that your personally enrolled members bring in.

So What Makes Surge 365 Any Different?

With all the MLM travel home based businesses coming and going, you can’t help but wonder if this is going to leave its members without a business like Wake Up Now did a couple of years ago.

Whether this is a good company or not, there are many factors that will come into play and ultimately changing the way a company is ran, especially in a niche like travel.

But just like the first few years of any company, the hype is through the roof and that is what makes everyone interested.

Once that goes, things start to die down and kind of become stagnant.

Very much identical to Wake Up Now and with the many other MLMs out there I don’t think this is going to be your best bet.

Still in its early stages of growth but I’m just not a fan, especially with the fact that you can actually make money online with affiliate marketing.

Is Surge 365 a Scam?

Definitely not a scam but like I said, there is no telling what will happen with this company in just one year from now.

With companies like Melaleuca and Amway that have actual products and have been around for decades, I really don’t see something like travel packages and whatnot being a better product or business for that matter.

Although this is a legit company, it is not something I would recommend for anyone looking to start a home based business.

What I Recommend

I have been apart of and am actually still apart of one MLM company but it’s not the easiest thing to do.

In the beginning everything sounds perfect, you’re motivated, and then bam!

Everything just kind of sits there and then you come up with the 101 reasons as to why you’re still paying your monthly membership.

Rather than having others go down that same path, I always recommend you sell other people’s products without having to pay to be a member.

Although I am apart of an MLM (I guess because the products are good?) I will always point people in the direction of what a program called the Wealthy Affiliate teaches.

They taught me everything I know and I can promise you that there is no better business model out there for the little guy trying to do big things.

Other than that, thanks for reading my Surge 365 review and hopefully I have given you a better understanding of what it is that you will be getting yourself into if you do decide to become a member.
