So I’m pretty sure you have a bunch of unhappy campers who were once apart of Wake Up Now. So I have just spoke with a couple of WUN members and it just so happens that Wake Up Now is now shut down.
This just reminds me of all the negative comments that I saw from a review about whether or not Wake Up Now is a scam or not, and I think this settles the score.
Nothing But Hype
Don’t get me wrong, we all want to work from home and live the life most people only dream of, but some of these “opportunities” are nothing but hype.
I have done my share of MLMs and trust me, they are not easy! I’ve spent countless hours and talked to so many people, just to have some of them criticize my chosen path. Not cool.
After I built a solid team from one MLM I was apart of, just to have it shutdown a couple of months later, just proved to me that nothing is a sure bet. Did that stop me? Absolutely not!
Of course I found another program almost immediately, because there are literally thousands of multilevel marketing businesses out there. The thing with this new one, is it involved coffee, which I thought would be around for years to come. In the end, it was just another flop!
They’re Just Not Sustainable
The problem with ANY multilevel marketing business is that it is not a guarantee. Just like Wake Up Now, I didn’t think that it would be shutdown so soon and not especially through bankruptcy.
If it’s not bankruptcy, there’s a lot more reasons as to why these businesses get shutdown. Being a scam is probably the biggest reason for any of them getting on the naughty list, but there are other reasons that are almost impossible to dodge.
Some close shop, just because too many people call scam or pyramid scheme and then bam! Everyone is looking for the next best thing.
MLM is Not the Only Way
Look guys, I am not biased and I don’t try and promote other “opportunities” out there, but I have done my share of multilevel marketing.
You and I both know that it is not easy to talk to people and hope they signup regardless of their reason. The thing is that it makes you do things that are unethical and it develops this crazy marketer that you really aren’t.
People get desperate just to sign people up and most only refer like 2 or 3 until they realize that they are not getting anywhere. Been there done that.
One thing is for sure and that is the fact that MLM is not the only way to kick your 9-5 to the curb and it is definitely not the only way to create a work from home business.
I Told you so
I can sit here and tell all the old WUN members that I told you so, but you need to understand that I am not trying to talk down on any company, but rather state the facts.
Just like the Empower Network, all these “businesses” are all ran the same exact way. I don’t care what big shot network marketer is telling you how to recruit people, it is still not easy.
I don’t care if it’s Tony Robins or any of those guys, they all have the same script. In the end it is all about putting in the time and effort to make things happen.
Invest in Something That Will Last
Believe me, there are only a handful of opportunities when it comes to working from home, but this is why I tell people that affiliate marketing will always beat MLM.
I don’t care what anyone says, there is really no competition when it comes to the two. Read more here on my comparison between MLM and affiliate marketing.
There’s only so much that a bunch of hype can do before it eventually dies down. I remember all the Wake Up Now signs that said, “you should be here” and how crazy people got when they saw them, but look at them now.
I really feel for the thousands of members that put in the work, just to have nothing in the end. Always invest in something that will last, no matter how big of a risk taker you are.
Where do You go From Here?
I can tell you that I have done businesses like WUN and some of them still exist. Companies like Amway won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, but then you deal with the whole “Amway’s been around too long” nonsense.
There is ALWAYS going to be something that works against you when it comes to multilevel marketing, so please leave the hype alone.
Want to see how I’ve built a solid income that pays me over and over and over again? Want to try something that will NEVER get shutdown unless the internet disappears?
This my friend is called affiliate marketing. Absolutely anyone can do this and it will make you money. If you’ve failed at this before, it probably was because you gave into the hype that came with WUN and you jumped ship because you weren’t making any money online.
This is a once in a lifetime chance to make some real money from home and you would be crazy to not give this a try. It is completely free and it comes with the best training on making money online by far.

Goodbye Wake Up Now
I have a ton of friends in Wake Up Now, and I really feel their pain. Most of them had the opportunity to run a real online business, but chose the hype over the legitimate business opportunity, but that’s just how things are.
From making $600/month (1% of its members) to making nothing in no time. I’ll probably hear the “Wake Up Now was great though” comments, but that’s just a great way to cover up a failure.
In the end folks, just invest your time wisely. To me, investing the money is not a big deal, but wasting time is what really matters.
I have started my online business 8 months ago and my income only grows as the days go by. Hopefully you can build a solid work from home business one day too. I’m sorry if you feel you’ve wasted a lot of time and money, but hopefully you wake up now, and see that these are nothing but hype. Cheers!

There are a lot of good businesses out there. I have seen a lot rise and fall. The better ones have great leadership, strong customer support, and a product that drives the sale. All i can say is Dont Give Up on Dreams and keep looking!

Hi John,
I knew this had to happen sooner or later. WUN was one of the biggest pyramid schemes of 2014. People flocked to it like it was the best thing since sliced bread. The thing that I never understood was why would anyone buy all these products through WUN, when they could get name brand products and merchandise at your local seven eleven for a fraction of what they were selling for.
I think everyone who was a member of WUN just got a serious wake up call and this goes to prove that MLM programs like this aren’t a sustainable business model, like you have mentioned above. If you want to create something of value and build a long term profitable business affiliate marketing is definitely the way to go.
Thanks so much for informing us of something that was bound to happen sooner or later. I’m just glad it happened sooner.
Cheers,
Your Friend, Scott
Yeah man there were just so many people boasting about how this program is not like any MLM you’ve seen. Like I said in my WUN review, it is. They are all ran the same way and none of them ever last. I don’t want to hear about Amway and how it’s still operating, I have yet to see one that can do what it has done. I’m glad you know better Scott and thanks for the very professional comment!
