Cointherum is another MLM based digital currency related business, that has no tangible products or any digital products for that matter.
They leverage the hype mostly brought by Bitcoin, but have also added some trading to entice its customers to join something with no real products to offer.
With the promise of a 200% ROI, I would like to explain how that whole deal works, along with the hidden agenda that is not presented by this site.
This Cointherum review will show you exactly what it is that you are getting yourself into so that you know whether or not you should invest your hard earned money and most especially your valuable time.
With the many scams on the net, will this pass the test?
Is this a viable “business” to join?
Let’s find out as I breakdown Cointherum in this review.
Cointherum Review
Name: Cointherum
Owner: Not listed on site
Website: www.cointherum.com
Price: 0.01 BTC minimum ($50 USD)
Overall Rating: 1/5 stars
Product Overview
The owner of Cointherum is not listed on the site, but the domain was purchased on May of 2017.
There are no tangible products associated with Cointherum but rather a recruiting platform from which members can gift other members with the very popular Bitcoin.
There is mention of other digital currency, but that is nothing more than a hope and a prayer that these other coins will do something similar to what Bitcoin did almost a decade ago.
How Cointherum Works
In order to make any money with Cointherum, you will NEED to market this system thorough social media, which is probably the same way you ran into this program in the first place.
By recruiting other people, you will gain a commission from their purchase into the program, which is then divided into different levels from different sources.
Instead of buying any fancy weight-loss product like Herbalife, you are purchasing nothing (literally) so you can sell nothing in order to make money.
In the world of making money online, this is something referred to as cash gifting, and no, it is not legal within the United States.
This is also the same reason why the owners of these schemes hide and usually reside in another country.
This also leads into the business model and how the money is distributed in different Levels.
The Compensation Plan & Price to Join Cointherum
Obviously you’re going to use Bitcoin to join Cointherum, but I want you to understand that you are not investing into the actual Bitcoin itself.
The money you put into this site will go directly to the person who brought you in as well as the people that brought that person in and also a pool of money from which will be distributed amongst its members.
They make you think you’re putting money into some trading business, when you’re only splitting the money from new members that join Cointherum.
Again, another Bitcoin MLM.
Now to start making money on your part, you will need to make a minimum investment of 0.05 BTC, which comes out to approximately $50 USD.
This gets you thrown into that pool so you can start making that 200% ROI they speak of before joining.
So if no one new joins, then guess what?
You make $0.
There is also a maximum deposit of 50 BTC, which comes out to about $15,000 USD.
The pricing also comes with different binary commission levels, which is also why people are willing to invest so much money into this type of stuff.
- 0.05 BTC = 5%
- 0.1 BTC = 6%
- 0.3 BTC = 7%
- 0.5 BTC = 8%
- 1 BTC = 10%
- 2 BTC = 14%
- 4 BTC = 15%
- 10 BTC = 16%
- 15 BTC = 17%
- 20 BTC = 20%
- 30 BTC = 22%
- 50 BTC = 23%
Each earns you a binary commission but of course you will need to fund each position in order to make any money from any of these plans.
If you’re familiar with revenue sharing, that’s pretty much what this is, minus the clicking of ads.

Without any product or actual value and nothing but gifting money, this is not going to be your ticket to financial freedom. You might make a sale or two, but this thing will not last.
So is Cointherum a Scam?
No products + No value = Waste of time + money
What are you really getting here, besides nothing?
How can you call something like this a real business?
With the fact that there are hundreds of these types of programs out on the net with the same exact business model, not a single one of them has anything better than the other.
Just like how the members of Gladiacoin tried to tell me I know nothing about that program, not a single one of them can come forward and admit that they were involved in yet another Bitcoin driven ponzi scheme.
Cointherum is a scam and the only people who will make the good money are the people that know the owner and the owner himself.
I mean, how do you own a product and hide behind it?
You can’t trust it and I can promise you that Cointherum will not last.
Mark my words.
I usually give these types of sites the benefit of the doubt, but with them coming up faster than I can review them is pretty annoying if you ask me.
They bring nothing new to the table, offer nothing but hype, and it’s only a matter of time before they stop paying its members.
That’s just how the cookie crumbles.
Conclusion
Avoid Cointherum and any program like it as they are all the same.
“Make 200% ROI in 90 days” and all that nonsense is what you will get from sites like Cointherum, but none will ever last.
The owner will make his money, stop paying its members and create another Bitcoin hyped MLM until people realize that they are really feeding the people at the top of this scheme.
If you want to make money online, I hope you know it’s going to require you to work.
Whether you create a blog and do some affiliate marketing or even start a Vlog, you’re not going to last in the online world joining programs like this.
Trust me.
I’ve been apart of many “opportunities” like Cointherum and every single one of them have disappeared.
Revenue sharing came and left and now Bitcoin MLM is here, but it won’t last either.
Do not join the Cointherum scam.
Thanks for reading my Cointherum review and I hope I have given you more than enough information to make a wiser decision on your own.
Until next time, be scam smart and remember to always do your research.
Cheers!
