The fake it till you make it method has been around for a really long time and people are taught to do this even if it’s flat out wrong.
I mean, how can you trust someone who pretends they’re living some type of dream lifestyle when they’re really still working a 9-5 trying to make ends meet?
Almost everyone trying to promote making money from home or any type of MLM product are actually making a big fat $0, yet they try to show that they are living the life when they really aren’t.
Although several of my up-lines told me to “just act like it”, it’s really hard to pretend when you’re not making anything.
Unlike most desperate people, I wasn’t trying to do what it takes to make a better living, I was simply trying to do things legitimately and honestly.
Most MLMers are Just Fake
Forget about faking it till you make it, most people in the MLM industry are JUST fake.
Give you false hope and tell you what you want to hear just so they can get you to join them in their latest and greatest business opportunity.
This happens every minute of everyday and it’s really sad because they recruit others to do the same exact thing and it’s just another cycle.
- Get signed up
- pretend like you’re making money
- TRY to get others to do the same
- Quit and try to find the next best thing
Who Wants to Buy Hype?
Forget about the diluted detergent of make you look like your 12 cream, people want to make money.
So whatever product you are promoting, the main goal is to get others to JOIN you rather than buy the products because of its awesome quality.
Sure you’ll never hear the end of your friends and family talking about how amazing the products are and that’s the reason why they’re in the business when it’s all a big show.
Hype, is what they sell and what’s really sad is that they don’t know that they’re doing it.
Its more of a brainwash
All I see is dollar signs. Heard that in a song on the radio the other day and it immediately reminded me of what people really see when they’re in a network marketing business.
Immediately after joining some type of “business” they develop this tunnel vision and all they know (think they know) is that they have the best product with the best compensation plan and they are going to smash the MLM world.
Then of course the hype dies down and they try to pretend like they’re in a business because of its amazing products when in reality, the hype is just gone.
MLM is NOT for Everyone
What’s funny is that it may sound like I’m against MLM, but I’m really not.
I would really love to see that one company that offers some real value with a solid opportunity that REALLY focuses on its products rather than its recruiting game.
From the facial creams to the coffees, I have seen (and been apart of) many of them come and go faster than we can get our first downline.
It may sound really sad, but I think Amway is probably the ONLY company that comes close to having the right formula.
I think the age of the business speaks for itself, so you can hate all you want, but I think it’s on top.
In the end, we all want to make more money but it’s not going to happen for 99% of you trying to do this whole multilevel marketing thing.
Most of you will get a couple people to join you here and there, just to have them drop out for whichever one of the 101 reasons people quit.
Don’t Fake it Until You Actually Make it
I don’t care what business you’re in, please don’t try to act like you’re making money just to get others to join you as that is just flat out wrong.
Whether you’re trying to push the hype of Bitcoin or actual products, don’t go out there lying to people just so you can make money.
If you have those crazy people on Facebook trying to promote their products just ignore them as I’m sure they are only trying to recruit you.
Now if that person is you, you might not even know that it’s you, but that’s okay as some of us have to learn the hard way.
There is hope.
Recruiting is NOT the Only Way
Before I came across this thing called affiliate marketing, I did think that recruiting people was the only way out of the rat race, but of course I was wrong.
Too many people push their business without regard to their product, which is the wrong way to do things.
How do I know?
Well, I was once in that situation and I didn’t even know I was doing it.
What’s wrong with doing business the “old school” way and sell actual products?
The beauty about the internet is that you don’t need to own your own products to make money and you also don’t need to go promoting it like some type of desperate person.
With Google and Amazon, the world of making money online is an amazing place.
Learn more here on how you can do just that so you can make money online without trying to fake it till you make it.
I hope this helps for any of you still trying to make money online without trying to lie to people.
All I have to say is please DO NOT give up as there is more than enough money for everyone to make online without having to play the recruiting game.
You’re worth more than you think, now go out there and make big things happen.
