If you want to make money online and work from home, you are going to need to learn the ropes, but with all the opportunities out there doing so can be easier said than done.
There are plenty of books, classes and programs designed with helping you get into the online industry, but even still it can be difficult to know which of these are helpful and which of them are scams.
“My Online Franchise,” is an online educational program, and business opportunity that is designed to help entrepreneurs grow a web business.
This program makes big promises, but is it able to live up to them?
Find out as we take a close look at this not so unique program.
My Online Franchise Review

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars
What Is My Online Franchise?
My Online Franchise is a program that provides users with a series of videos and instructional opportunities that equip (or claim to equip) entrepreneurs with all the information they need to get started with an online business.
In fact, you may have even heard of them before.
My Online Franchise has collected some attention recently with their claim that participants will make five hundred dollars simply by watching their introduction video.
Once a participant has gone through the entire program, My Online Franchise claims that they will have the skills that they need to make up to $1000 a day from home.
In fact, one of their slogans is “Make money while you sleep!”.
Sounds pretty good, right?
It does, but keep in mind that so far we have only looked at what they promise. To find out if they are worth your time and money we will first need to see how they work, and how well they are able to fulfill their many promises.
How It Works
Once you buy into My Online Franchise you will find out that it isn’t exactly what it appeared to be.
The program is essentially a MLM—meaning they will teach you how to sell their program to other online entrepreneurs and make commissions doing it.
My Online Franchise basically does not really exist.
It is actually an online marketing program that teaches users about affiliate marketing and then encourages them to practice said marketing tactics, by buying further into MOBE and making online commissions online.
It sounds a little bit shady, doesn’t it?
That’s because it is.
The truth of the matter is that My Online Franchise is nothing more than a sales funnel that uses high pressure and unethical tactics to market and sell MOBE, which I want to give you a little history on.
Back in the day, it was once called My Online Business Empire but have changed things to My Online Business Education and that is simply to avoid being labeled as the ponzi scheme that it really is.
The initial video will cite outlandish sales claims narrated by a man referred to as Tim, who claims to have used the internet to make millions of dollars.
Are his claims true or is he doing the typical fake it til’ you make it nonsense?
It is possible, but the information provided is pretty vague which makes it impossible to verify.
Once you get further into the sales funnel you will be exposed to other high-pressure tactics, like a sales counter that lists the usual price of the program as $400—available to you for a special rate but only if you act fast.
Of course, the sales counter is not real.
The price for MOBE is not and never has been anywhere near $400.
The purpose of this technique is of course to get you to buy before you start having second thoughts.
Don’t do that.
Don’t get me wrong, MOBE actually has some good stuff in it, but if you decide to explore this program it should be because you are actually interested in what it offers.
So, does it work?
Actually, affiliate marketing actually is a really good way to make money and there are plenty of websites out there that you can use affiliate marketing to make commissions from without paying a dime.
Amazon is good example.
At the same time you do actually get some information from MOBE that you won’t receive on your own so if you want a step by step walk through to affiliate and multi level marketing, this is a viable option.
Once you complete the program, your job then becomes marketing it to other entrepreneurs in a very discrete way, which may be more than you are looking for.
How Much Does It Cost
My Online Franchise isn’t exactly cheap.
The program usually costs $50 which while not bank breaking can certainly put a strain on some people’s budgets.
You could possibly get lucky and buy in while they are running a promotion but I would not count on it.
If you want to try this program out you should probably just count on paying the sticker price.
The problem is that once you get into the MLM portion of the program you will find that you need to spend quite a bit of money to make money.
There are different levels of membership involved with the program but they range in price from $2,500-$30,000 which can be paid in monthly installments.
By the way, it is only with the more expensive memberships that you can claim the guaranteed $500 rebate that they promote with the introduction video.
While technically their promotion of the $500 isn’t a lie, the way that they go about is definitely shady, and it is also indicative of the overall business model here: in order to make money with My Online Franchise, or rather, MOBE, you are also going to have to spend quite a bit and it is A MUST to purchase any of the products before you can “resell” it to make money.
Compensation
You get compensated based on how many people you bring into the program, what package level you select, and which package they select.
It is possible to get big commission checks but in order to do so you are going to need to buy in with expensive programs.
Most users don’t make their money back.
Or I take that back, because it’s more like a whopping 99% will do nothing but pay those at the top that know a lot more than the average joe.
Final Verdict: Not Recommended
While this program is not a scam necessarily it also isn’t exactly what it says it is either, and that is a little troubling.
There are plenty of educational programs out there that actually will teach you about affiliate marketing with no ulterior motive, and there are also MLMs that are more upfront about what they are that have ACTUAL PRODUCTS.
Ultimately you are going to have to decide for yourself how you feel about My Online Franchise’s many discrepancies but do know that this is just one of the many funnels to another high ticket program.
In recent news, a program called Digital Altitude (same exact style program as MOBE) has just been shutdown and that is no different than what this funnel is leading you too.
These guys are just tweaking their words and trying to stay under the radar but it is no better than Digital Altitude, so please be careful with this one.
What I Really Think
Personally, I love affiliate marketing and that is what I do to make my living.
I use a program called the Wealthy Affiliate and they teach you everything you need to know about the business and also offer FREE coaching for its members.
So if you really think you need to spend thousands of dollars to make money online, give WA’s free membership a try and you will get the best training, coaching, and overall support for a super affordable price.
Other than that, you can spend the $49 to get suckered into spending more money, which is not guaranteed and does require you to sell the same exact system you just purchased.
If that’s cool with you then hey, this might just be the program for you.
Thanks for reading my review of My Online Franchise and I hope I have given you a bigger picture of what their hidden agenda really is.
If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments section below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Cheers!
