Digital Altitude Gets Shutdown, But I’m Sure You Saw it Coming

Last Updated: August 30, 2018 //  by John

One of the very popular high ticket products have finally been taken down and this is a great thing for everyone at the bottom of the mountain.

Digital Altitude has now been shutdown by the FTC and ex-marine and CEO of the company is being sued for $14 million.

What seemed like a solution to one’s financial issues has now become a nightmare for.

Through their choice of wrong words and their so called education platform, many have lost thousands of dollars by giving into the same education that they are taught.

“Make 6 figures in 90 days”

“Start and grow a profitable online business”

I don’t mention these claims because they messed up and got caught, but rather to point out that there are other companies that sell the same digital products and services but remain under the radar because they “know what to say”.

They all cost thousands of dollars and although some might not promise these huge returns but those in the industry know exactly what they have to offer.

As an online businessman myself, I can promise you that there is no need to spend thousands of dollars to learn ANY type of online marketing, no matter what anyone tells you.

What’s even more insane is that the people (DA’s affiliates) that are trying to sell you these products have not even gone over this training themselves.

There’s a hidden agenda behind every affiliate of DA and it’s really sad that this news is the only way for people to believe that this is not a legitimate business.

So What is Digital Altitude Really About?

High commissions and more high commissions that involve you selling the same exact product that you just purchased.

As an affiliate marketer, we all want higher commissions for our efforts and there is nothing wrong with that.

What these folks have put together is nothing more than a site that offers training and retreats for thousands of dollars, for the sole purpose of making higher commissions.

The education is fair but there is no way that I will spend thousands of dollars to learn something that might not even work.

What most newbs don’t understand is that this marketing they claim to sell is the same marketing that will work against you.

You will then take that same system, throwing it out there in hopes that someone will give into the same exact marketing that got you to join in the first place.

That’s really all there is to it and although I tell it like it is, there will always be someone to defend it simply because it’s ruining their chances of making thousand dollar commissions.

Recruiting is the Name of the Game

Regardless of what product Digital Altitude claims to have, the only way for ANYONE to make the 6 figures they speak of is to get someone else to purchase these high ticket products they have to offer.

What’s even more crazy is that you, yourself need to purchase these same products before you can sell them to make a commission.

They try to refer to it as “resell rights” but we all know that it is only like that so that money will have to be spent.

Just like the Empower Network, there are quite a number of these types of programs and it’s really only a matter of time before the FTC slams the door on them.

Unless you’re doing something like Amway, selling air is not going to make your dreams come true.

Selling Hopes and Dreams

From a high ticket program’s perspective, the real sell is this lavish lifestyle that they refer to as attraction marketing.

Hey look at me, I’m rich and you can be too as long as you buy this product using my special link.

Who doesn’t want to be rich besides everyone?

That’s the reality of things but after spending so much money on a product, that’s the last thing a new member wants to hear.

They come to sites like mine, trying to justify their purchase, but will end up losing and then not ever come back to apologize.

The research was done after they deposited money directly into someone else’s bank account and they finally realized that there was no turning back.

Be Scam Smart

If you were a member of Digital Altitude I am sorry for your loss but there are just some things that you need to understand before joining any opportunity.

I’m sure a lot of you just didn’t know any better but everyone who can show you $1,000 checks know exactly what they were doing and got you to join them and their “team”.

Whether it be desperation or people being gullible, you need to understand that most programs are recruiting based and no one is really looking out for your best interest but rather filling their pockets with your hard earned money.

Whether you joined DA or not, this serves as a great lesson for its members and others as you really need to sit down and think about things before pulling out that credit card.

If something seems too good to be true then it most likely is and that is exactly how it works in the online world.

Conclusion

I can’t stress about how much others are only in this for themselves.

At first they might come off as very helpful and that is only because they want you to hand over the green.

if you don’t do that then I’m sure they would tell you to get lost, simply because you are not worth their time.

If you are looking to make money online, please know that it requires work and it is not going to cost you even $5,000 to start.

So before you join your next “opportunity”, remember to always do your research.

I have fallen for one of these scams in the past and I wouldn’t want anyone to have to pay thousands of dollars just to learn the hard way.

I spend $49/month to run a legitimate online business and I don’t go around telling people that I’m rich or anything like that.

Unless you’re in some MLM that has actual products, there is no need for you to pay $20,000 to learn how to make money online.

Sorry things had to end this way but companies like Digital Altitude give the industry a bad name.

I hope you didn’t lose any money with DA and I hope you can be smarter than most when you come across the next best way to make money online.

Thanks for reading!

Great post! Couldnt agree more with you. The product needs to be SOLID and not so hyped on the ‘income opportunity’.
