You can only be skeptical about any get paid to site and automatically think that it is a scam.
The same thing goes with Cash Crate and that is why I have put together this review.
I did see that this post needed to be updated with some up to date information as I published this in 2014, so I guess it is only right that I make the necessary changes now.
So if you are looking for the most recent review on Cash Crate, you have landed on the right site.
I am not here to sugar coat anything but rather give you the cold hard facts on what this site is really about.
Is Cash Crate a scam or a real GPT site that can make you money?
Can you really make money by taking simple surveys?
All that will be answered and a lot more so follow along as I break things down for you.
For those of you looking to make more than a couple of bucks, you can always checkout my top recommended program instead.
Other than that, let’s get right into things.

CashCrate Review – Product Overview
Cash Crate is nothing more than a paid survey site that pays you for filling out surveys, as well as doing other small tasks.
It is 100% legit and you can even get signed up for free to start making money immediately.
So no, it is not a scam and there is no hidden agenda here.
Very similar to Swagbucks, Cashcrate is free to join and they will pay you.
I figured that we can get that out of the way, as I’m sure most of you are ready to get signed up and are only interested in knowing if this is a scam or not.
Getting Started
Again, it is free to join cashcrate and you need nothing more than a valid email address along with a password.
From there, you will then create your user profile from which you will be able to select how you will get paid.
Once that’s complete, you will gain access to the site so you can start taking surveys and doing other simple tasks.
You also get access to some savings of some of the same stores you are probably shopping at already.
So that’s there if you are interested.
Is it Really Free to Join Cashcrate?
It sure is.
There is no catch and you don’t have to link any credit cards either.
So How Does Cashcrate Make Money?
It’s actually really simple and the same reason they are able to pay anyone.
Cashcrate is affiliated with the companies you see on their site, so they do make money by getting you to join them.
From there, they are able to split the commissions.
It’s a win/win and I’m sure no one will complain with something that is free to join.
The Cashcrate Referral Program
Just like any business out there, you can make money by referring people to them.
CashCrate has its program, which will reward you for sharing the opportunity.
When you send out your personal link and you get someone to signup under you, you will then have the chance to earn some money.
Whatever they purchase will earn you money along with some earnings from the people that they bring in.
Pretty simple right?
Just like how an MLM business is ran, you get paid through a compensation plan.
However, there are only two levels.
These are the people you signup (directly) and also the people that they signup.
You get 20% of what your direct referral makes and you get 10% of what their referrals make.
That is a really high percentage but these referrals are required to use Cashcrate quite often for you to make something decent.
Getting Paid
Before you see any money in your possession, you will need to meet a minimum of $20 in your Cashcrate account.
Once you have at least that much, you can then have it paid to you through check.
You can get it directly to your PayPal account only after you have reached the silver level.
To reach silver, you need to have referred 25 people to Cashcrate and earned at least $100.
This level bumps you up to earning 25% of what your direct refferals earn and now you get paid on the 1st of every month.
As far as surveys and tasks, you get paid anywhere from $.30 – $.75 a survey.
Some of these surveys take around 10 minutes but others can take more than 30 minutes to finish.
Not the best paying survey site but you will definitely get paid.
Cash Crate Complaints
There are some complaints about people not getting paid.
Others claim that it takes a really long time to reach the minimum payout and then they hold your money?
Another complaint is the amount of emails that members receive after joining Cashcrate.
It is very typical for any company to do such a thing, so I wouldn’t look at this as much of a con.
Macy’s and Footlocker send me an email almost every single day but that doesn’t bother me.
This can easily be fixed by changing the settings in your back office, so I wouldn’t let this bother you.
Cashcreate is Legit
For most, that $20 check is not much but do remember that it is free.
I personally like GPT sites as there is no investment required, yet you are able to make real money.
Not to mention their referral program that can have some of you making money for a really long time.
In the end, it is totally up to you.
If you think it is worth the time and money then go for it.
I only recommend things that work and I have personally tried myself and this is just one of them.
What I Really Think
I know Cashcrate isn’t going to be your golden ticket to financial freedom and I hope you already knew that.
If you are looking for a better or more lucrative way to make money online, I recommend the Wealthy Affiliate.
You can make one sale through the affiliate marketing model and that will be a month’s worth of work for CashCrate.
It is one of the few methods of making money that I recommend, and it is also responsible for allowing me to work from home full-time.
If that is something you might be interested in, you can read my full review here to learn more about that company.
Besides that, I hope you enjoyed my review of Cashcrate.
If you have any experience (good or bad) with this company, I would love to hear what you think.

I really enjoyed reading your honest review of another ponzi scheme. I’m really very sad how these scammers get rip off honest and naive people trying to find an honest way to make money online.Unfortunately, scammers easily outnumber us. But we do our job trying to expose them and their ponzi schemes on a regular basis and to save as many honest people as possible from falling into the hands of those sharks.
John
It’s almost impossible to say no to these scams, but there are a lot of people wasting their time with them. There are only a few legit ways to make money online, and this is not one of them. Thanks for your thoughts Rufat and I hope things are going well on your end.
