Filling out surveys is one of the ways people are making money online and this is something you might want to look into. Although it is not a very high paying “job”, you can still get paid filling out surveys.
There are thousands of people doing this, but it is not going to be very profitable. Even if this is not my #1 recommendation to making money from home, it is still an option.
Is Filling Out Surveys Online a Scam?
I want to get the scam part out of the way before we get into the meat and taters. There is a fine line in regards to this and I would like to clarify some things.
First, you can definitely make money filling out surveys and second, you will NOT get rich doing it. In the end, it is totally legit and it will make you money.
I think that was enough to let you decide whether or not you should do this crazy nonsense. It costs about $34 to find out how to do this business but the ROI (return of investment) is not going to be some kind of crazy money.
Different companies pay different prices to fill out surveys and most of them pay less than a dollar. Mind you, these surveys are not going to take you 5 minutes to fill out.
So is it a scam? I’m going to have to say that the companies that teach you how to do these surveys are the scammers. They promise to make you a good amount of money working a couple of minutes a day but in reality you will be making pennies for a lot of hard work. If you want to invest some solid time into a real solid online business, you need to do some affiliate marketing. This is by far the best online business and is the most rewarding.
How it Works
When you have these fortune 500 companies, they all need some feedback to see how their business is doing, and some need credentials. So what better way than to get people to fill out some surveys, right?
These companies pay out thousands of dollars for people to fill out these surveys and they have no problem doing it either. This really, really helps their business and that’s why they’re willing to pay you to do it.
I don’t know anyone that has made thousands of dollars doing this, but I have heard of people making a couple of hundred dollars, so that should mean something.
How to Get Started
If you want to get started filling out surveys you will need to know where to get these surveys right? There are tons of sites that you can learn to do this from and I will share a couple of them with you. Just remember that you are not going to make thousands of dollars overnight but you can make some money. I can tell you what not to do but I know you are still curious about this whole survey thing and that’s fine. Here are a couple of sites that you can get started with.
These sites should be enough to ease your mind about online surveys. Start filling out them surveys and let me know how that goes for you. Personally, I don’t like to waste my time on something that doesn’t pay well for the amount of time that is needed to take these surveys.
It’s Not Worth it
I know it is very possible to make money taking surveys online, but I just want to tell you that it is not worth the time and money. Some of these surveys take over an hour to complete and they pay no more than $5.
As time goes by, these survey sites are starting to get really cheap, just because more and more people are starting to do this. Like I said earlier, people are not making crazy amounts of cash doing this and they will not be some kind of millionaire.
You can always give it a try and see how much you can make, but just know that it is not going to pay that well. Try one of the links above and see how much you can make.
The Alternative
With there being a couple of options of doing work from home, you can always do other things besides filling out these surveys. Although you can fill out multiple surveys to maximize your survey efforts, it will not be worth it.
Personally, I recommend affiliate marketing to anyone trying to make money online and for many reasons at that.
