The owners of Ibotta claim that their app is better than coupons and this is simply because they are about rewarding their members for shopping at stores.

Basically, users purchase items, confirm their receipts, and then get rewarded for their efforts.

They will rebate 20 cents off every store item that you have purchased.

These include items such as: milk, bread, cheese, apples, veggies, bananas, eggs, tomatoes, pasta, and much more.

And the best part about it? It can literally be any brand. The 20 cents is only minimum as well.

With the more expensive items, you can earn a rebate of up to $3, just from one item!

How Does It All Work?

Okay, so now you know a little bit about the back-end of Ibotta, here’s how you can earn money with the app.

Of course, you don’t have to follow this method exactly, but it is much easier to scan everything at the supermarket so that you don’t have to do it at home.

First and foremost, you have to UNLOCK the ability to use the rebate system, which is is done by completing simple tasks that are available.

When this is done, you can then go shopping.

To earn even more rewards/higher cash rebates, you should purchase the items that they have listed on the app.

As you’re doing your shopping, make sure you keep the app up.

Step 2

Scan the barcodes as you put the items in your cart/trolley.

Step 3

Pay for your items, get your receipt, unpack your shopping into your car, then upload your receipt to Ibotta.

Similar to Swagbucks, but it’s really up to you on which one you prefer.

This is not going to make you insane amounts of money, but at least it’s not here to take your money.

Ibotta is legit and will actually pay you.

What I Recommend

Couponing and saving money shopping is a great thing, but the fact that they don’t pay much will have a lot of you spending more time using the app rather than making money.

Definitely use the app, but you might want to consider doing something like affiliate marketing if you are looking to make better money online.
