Can You Really Get Paid To Read The News? Yes, In Your Dreams

Last Updated: December 20, 2018 //  by John

Want to make money reading the news?

Great because you can make thousands of dollars a month by simply reading short articles and spreading the word about the site, which pays you $150 for every person you bring in.

This sounds like the best job in the world and I think I can quit my 9-5 if I can get others to join me.

This might just be my way out of the rat race and I can finally prove to everyone else that you can really make money online.

Skerrrrrrrrt!

Pump the brakes and stop what you’re doing.

If you for once thought that you can make thousands of dollars reading the news, you might want to really think about how you use the internet and if you’re really going about things safely.

There are too many people getting scammed as I’m writing this and a lot of them don’t even know what hit them just because people are really that desperate.

Don’t be that person.

If you’ve come across one of the many get paid to read the news sites, I want to show you how they work so that you can NOT be like everyone else who claims that you can really make money by reading the news.

So Can You Get Paid to Read the News?

No.

At least not with any of the sites with a website template like the ones below.

Back in the day you could very much get paid to read the news, take surveys, and do little tasks, but scammers have taken the online world for a ride and things have definitely changed.

You can still make money taking surveys and even writing articles, but the whole reading the news thing has almost disappeared, with only the scams hanging around.

I can not stand seeing these get the job or get paid to read the news type scams that come from some unknown country that can’t put these scammers away.

With the fact that the people running these sites are in someplace that couldn’t care less what these guys are doing, it’s the innocent people like you and I that have to pay for it.

The concept is very simple and if you’re not careful, you might just fall for the next get paid to read the news scam.

How These Read the News Schemes Work

By having you signup to their site, it’s always going to be free as they have other plans to take your money, but they need you to be on their list first.

After signing up, you will then have to “read the news” and you will then be credited to your account for a good amount and not just $.05 like it used to be back in the day.

There is also a chance to make money by getting others to join the site, which comes in very generous commissions, with some being $150 a head.

Now if that doesn’t scream scam to you, this is a great time to smack the back of your head so that you can wake up and smell the coffee.

Now if you meet their minimum threshold of $2,000 you will be able to cash out your money through one of the few methods, and Paypal will most likely be one of them.

Some sites try to fool you by telling you to use some type of complicated password and for good reason at that.

In order to get paid, you have to input your Paypal email addy and what they try to do is match your chosen password within your Paypal account so that they can transfer money from your account to theirs.

So if you’ve already put some valuable information on any of these get paid to read the news schemes, you might want to go and change your password.

Like right now.

More Red Flags

If the poor grammar wasn’t enough for you then you might just be one of the super desperate trying to make any type of money from the internet.

These sites have no clear indication of what you will be doing and even the homepage says nothing but a pic you can find on the internet.

There is no income disclaimer or terms and conditions on the site, which is required if you were to be operating out of the US.

For some odd reason, these scammers feel the need to keep trying to tell you that they are based out of the US, simply because they really aren’t.

You don’t see Facebook.com telling you where they are because it’s not necessary.

Along with all the nonsense the site has, all the other schemes of its kind use the same template, same stock photos, with the only thing different being the name.

This my friend is more than enough to show you that these get paid to read the news sites are not legit, so please, please, try to be smarter than most.

You Will Not Get Paid to Read the News

There are thousands of people who do what is needed to make money on these sites.

Recruit others, read news, and meet the minimum threshold, desperately waiting to see something in their Paypal accounts.

Stop waiting and forget about getting paid because that isn’t going to happen on any of these sites.

What you need to do is quit being gullible and stop giving these scammers an edge by joining and spreading the word like everyone else is doing.

If you want to make money online it is not going to happen by reading some kind of article online, but rather through hard work and determination like every other successful online marketer is doing.

You can always keep waiting for someone to pay you on these scam sites, but you might wait there forever, so grab some coffee or something.

Conclusion

Making money online is a wonderful thing and I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you will not make any of it reading the news.

If you see any sites with the typical layout, avoid it and post it on your FB wall or something so that the online world can see what types of scams exist.

Other than that, thanks for reading this post and I hope I have given you some valuable information that you can use and share with others.

If you’re one of those trying to promote these get paid to read the news scams, you might want to stop.

Good luck and remember to always be scam smart.

Cheers!
