7 Ways On How To Avoid Make Money Scams Online

Last Updated: August 30, 2018 //  by John

We all want to make money, but most of us fall for the silliest of scams these days. But hey, can you blame us? most of the nonsense online looks like it will actually work!

Personally, I try to see the best in people and their products, but I have been fooled way too many times to even entertain these scammers.

Nowadays, I tell it like it is and I will call out any scammer even if they try to make their product sound legit, like most of them are doing.

After being in business for almost 3 years I can proudly say that I have been able to make back what I’ve lost from these scams and I now work from home full-time. Yay me!

So today I want to show you how to avoid these scams, so that you can move on and finally start making money online.

1.) Don’t Let Curiosity Kill the Cat

If most of you are like me, you always want to try things for yourself, especially if it’s “affordable”. One thing you need to avoid is the too good to be true schemes that prowl the net.

In the online world, this applies at about 100% of the time. Although very cliche, it will save you thousands of dollars and most especially hours of your time.

The sad part is, we already know we are about to be scammed, but that little bit of curiosity will push us to purchasing the scam regardless.

Back in the day, I would have the mentality of “I need to try it for myself in order to believe it”, but that has only taken out more money from my bank account.

Like the old saying goes, “if it seems too good to be true, it probably is” will always be the greatest indicator for any scam online.

This is the #1 red flag that can be spotted from a mile away and something you need to give 0 attention to or you will only be making these scammers richer.

2.) Do Your Research

Looking for reviews is a great way to avoid scams online as there are people (like myself) out there that will give you the cold hard facts about any product even if there are people promoting it.

Then again, there are so many fake review sites like nancyreviews.com that will tell you every single program is legit simply because she can make money from them.

Read a couple of reviews before you take anyone’s word for it as most people are only trying to promote the scam themselves.

If you come across stuff like “review + bonus”, you need to avoid that one at all costs. That is nothing more than a sales pitch, trying to sell you the product.

In most cases, they have not even tried the product themselves yet they try to make it seem like it’s the best thing out there.

Do your research and you will get enough information on whether or not you should try a product or not.

3.) Don’t Be Silly

I say this because there are just too many of you that still think that there is some push button secret or software that will make you money like some crazy, broken ATM.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but there is not a single way to get money like most scams claim. This goes hand in hand with the “too good to be true” saying, but needs to be emphasized.

Avoid sites with stuff like…

  • Push button
  • Millionaire
  • No work required
  • Make money tonight
  • Free

or anything with that type of nonsense.

4.) Pay Attention to Grammar

I have recently come across some sites that had some piss poor grammar as well as the claim to make you money without you paying a dime.

This is a complete no brainer, but again, curiosity will get the best of you, so don’t let that happen.

You can always forgive a mistake or two when it comes to a post, but if the mistake comes from the sales page or any of their pages, you might want to skip it.

Most people will try to see past that and that is only because they are desperate. The sad truth is that is the same exact person that they target and it works time and time again.

DO NOT become another statistic and get out of desperation mode when you are in the hunt for your next make money from home venture.

5.) Outdated Sites

Believe it or not, there are hundreds of scam sites out there that still exist. They are still using the same theme from the 90’s and people are still giving into them

If you come across a site that just looks old, you might want to avoid that too. They come with outdated “techniques” and obviously there was no maintenance being done.

That just shows how much they care about the people they are trying to help make money.

6.) Making Money Doesn’t Require Recycling

This is really huge these days and I can’t stand it. I have joined a couple in my hunt for a legitimate way to make money online and most of them come in the form of a funnel.

They will start you off with something like $25 and then next thing you know, they are asking you to fork out a couple thousand dollars.

The way this usually works is by telling you that you will miss out on commissions if you don’t purchase this product.

That scheme has worked on me and it has worked on thousands of other people. The only ones making money are the ones at the top, not you.

They use tactics like 100% commissions and usually come with nothing tangible. It’s nothing but a bunch of marketing training on how to sell the same thing you just purchased.

I have fell for this not just once and only because I was in the desperate category. Do not join anything that makes you money by selling something you just bought. Period!

7.) Making Money Online Requires Work

I can promise you that any successful online marketer has put in the time and work that is necessary to make money online.

If you are thinking that they found some type of “secret”, you might want to think again. They may have their own product that may not even work, but do know that they started from the bottom just like everyone else.

If working is something you are not fond of doing, you might want to give up on your dreams of making money online, because they will always remain a dream unless you take some action.

There are Only a Handful of Legitimate Ways to Make Money Online

With the thousands of products on the net today that promise to make you money, there are literally only a few of them that actually work.

Most of the products online are created for the owner to make money and that is about it. They are not lying about anything, but most of the time their product will do you no good.

I have been scammed and you probably have been too. Follow these tips on how to avoid scams online and you should be good to go.

Without a guide to making money online, you will really get nowhere and eventually stay at that 9-5 that you absolutely can’t stand.

Making money online isn’t magic, so get the right training, the right tools, and the right support. If you have all those running properly, there is no reason that you can’t create a successful online business.

If you have any questions about absolutely anything related to making money online, leave them in the comments section below and I will get back to you within 24 hrs.

I hope you have learned a thing or two and hopefully you can finally start on something that actually works. Thanks for reading!

One of the things that often go unnoticed when people are excited about the online jobs is the actual history of the owner. There are some fake and misleading reviews. You have to self prepared to avoid these kinds of things. If you really want to ignore these scams search the client who has the advantage of a digital signature to sign contracts online. It will help you to sign agreements with the client or any organization.
