User Review
( votes)Appi Travels is yet another vacation/discount type multilevel marketing business with the main focus being on recruitment.
On the actual site, there is no indication as to who owns or runs things, but after further review, we have found that the owner to be Danny Gauthier.
Just like most MLMers Gauthier has had his foot in other businesses from which he’s jumped around with and now on his current venture, which is Appi Travels.
He was with a site called Ultamex, which lasted for about a year and then jumped ship to Wealth Podium, which lasted for about the same.
Just like any MLM, Appi Travels comes with some type of product, a compensation plan, and an affiliate program which has people join and recruit others in order to make money.
There is a lot more to the equation, which I would like to discuss further into this review, so let’s get to it.
Appi Travels Products
There are no tangible products that come with Appi Travels, but rather savings on travel, which is very much like Pro Travel Plus, which I joined a while back and eventually flopped.
Then there’s Paycation and sites like Wake Up Now, that didn’t last either, which goes to show you how sketchy these niches really are.
Now I’m sure you were presented with the savings on vacation packages, hotel deals, cheap flights, and most especially the whole free travel deal.
By accumulating “travel points” from all your efforts in Appi Travels, you will be able to travel for free as long as you have enough points.
I thought you get free trips just for being a member and I’m sure some of you did as well, but without any recruiting or being active, you won’t be traveling anywhere for free.
Not to mention that the price to join Appi Travels is not going to be that cheap either.
The Price to Join Appi Travels
For $50, you can get started with Appi Travels, but this is only the first of 3 membership levels.
- Explorer – $50
- Traveler – $200
- Navigator – $500
Appi Travels Compensation Plan
Just like every MLM, Appi Travels has “the most lucrative compensation plan in the industry”.
From their homepage, I actually did see some too good to be true claims and it really makes you wonder how long this thing will really last.
100% matching bonus?
Get paid the same day?
This type of stuff is rarely seen in the MLM industry and that’s actually not a good thing as that shows recklessness and ultimately is not going to be sustainable.
Now for every person you bring into the company you can obviously make some money as I’m sure that’s what the primary goal for any Appi Travels affiliate is.
You get half of whatever membership package your downline purchases, which is actually a really good deal, but again, is too good to be true.
They spend $50, you get $25
They spend $200, you get $100
If they decide to go for the $500 package, you make $250 from that.
There is also an admin fee, but it is only $25 for Explorer, $50 for Traveler, and $50 for VIP Navigator.
There’s actually a lot more that comes with the comp plan, but you can read more here if you are really interested in learning more about it as it is just too long.
Pros & Cons of Appi Travels
Pros:

- 50 % commissions
- Can get you free travel
- Admin fees are low
Cons:
- Products bring nothing new to the table

- Too good to be true
Appi Travels at a Glance
Name: Appi Travels
Website: www.appitravels.com
Price to Join: $50, $200, and $500
Overall Rating: Typical MLM structured website with a product that is not the greatest. Most of the stuff on this site seems too good to be true, so you need to be careful with this one and please do proceed with caution.
So is Appi Travels a Scam?
Not exactly, but definitely something to really think about before signing up and not really thinking it through.
With the thousands of MLMs out there, what makes this one “the one” to join?
Without any products and only discounts on travel, who are you going to target since most prospects are already struggling to make money and most likely won’t be doing much traveling?
Are you good at networking?
These are some of the questions you need to ask yourself before joining any MLM for that matter, so please take your time and don’t jump into things just because you were pressured by someone you know.
Do I Recommend Appi Travels?
Definitely not recommending this there are thousands more programs at the top of my list and even at that, I still wouldn’t recommend most of them.
I’d rather tell you to join Amway or Melaleuca before I tell you to join something like Appi Travels.
In my honest opinion, Appi Travels promotes nothing but hype and there are no signs of this company lasting very long.
I mean, who doesn’t want to jump on the sand like this dude and his family and who won’t freak out if they saw something talking about sharing profits in something like this?
This my friend is nothing but hype and although there is that much money being spent in the industry, that has nothing to do with the type of earnings you and other affiliates will make.
For something that has such a mediocre product there is so much hype around it and I’m not one to sell hopes and dreams to the type of people looking to join this kind of stuff.
Those desperately looking to make more money and/or quit their job as that is exactly the target market for this site and why I don’t recommend it.
What I Really Think
I used to think that MLM was the only way until I found out that there were other ways to make money from home.
From the days of thinking that I had to find a product, with a solid compensation plan, then I was good to go.
I even joined an MLM called Vidacup because they used coffee and I love me some good coffee, but even at that, they didn’t last long.
In the end, MLM is not for everyone and with a whopping 98% of people that will not make any money is not something you want to pursue especially if you are super desperate.
Forget about recruiting others so that YOU can make money and think about doing something like affiliate marketing, which I think is the absolute best way to make money from home.
Click here to see what product I recommend, so that you can avoid the whole recruiting gig and actually create a real business that YOU actually own.
Other than that, thanks for reading my Appi Travels review and I do hope that I have given you more than enough information to help you make a better decision.
In the end, you will be the one dealing with it so it’s really up to you.
Whether you join this or not, I still wish you nothing but the best and I also hope that you can work from home full-time too.
Good luck and don’t ever give up!
