I was a huge fan of Godaddy, mainly just for their domain names. I loved the search bar that helped me find some diamonds in the rough, but that was about it.
I would use them to get the domain I wanted, but that was where everything stopped. I didn’t like the hosting, the personal email, or the website builder and these are just some of the reasons I no longer use Godaddy for my website needs.
To top things off, they wanted more money from me. Being a member of Wealthy Affiliate for a short 2 years, they have really blown me out of the water.
Just when you think they can’t possibly add anything else to make a service that much better, they come up with something new.
Welcome to SiteDomains
Wealthy Affiliate now has domains!
This was something that was talked about for the longest time and it is now available to ANYONE and not just its members.
No more having to switch DNS settings.
No more having multiple accounts for hosting, domains, etc…
No more up-sells!
Everything that has to do with my online business can now be done within the Wealthy Affiliate platform and I couldn’t be more proud to promote such an amazing addition to the WA line.
Here’s the Deal
As an online marketer, you are going to need a domain name, hosting, personal email, content management system, and so on or you simply can’t run your business.
With this little addition, I now can do everything that my business demands all in one place.
You will not find this type of stuff anywhere in the industry and I can promise you that.
So Why SiteDomains?
I am not a big fan of this thing called up-sells when it comes to anything related to making money online and that is what every single domain registrar does.
WA has taken a different route with things and they included everything in one.
One price.
One complete package.
This is really a breath of fresh air and I want to show you why this is the best place to purchase something so simple as a domain name.
SiteDomains is Flat Out Simple
I remember the days of having to wait 48 hours just to see my site live on the internet, but that is now a thing of the past thanks to SiteDomains.
Once you purchase a domain, it will be available and ready for you to build your own website without having to wait a whole day (at least) to even get started on constructing your site.
No more confusing settings to mess around with.
No more waiting.
Period.
Site Security & Privacy
Security is a big deal when conducting business online and that is a big deal no matter what anyone thinks about it.
Forget about having people find out all your personal information through one of those “who is” websites that show your name, address, and other stuff no one needs to know about.
The Wealthy Affiliate domain platform protects you 100% from spam.
I have deleted the Spamshield plugin and not only am I using one less plugin, but there are now no spam comments getting through the cracks.
Not even your competition can have access to your personal information, so SiteDomains protects you from everything.
No Hidden Prices
Most domain registrars have promos and there is nothing wrong with that and it is actually another reason why I liked Godaddy.
Getting a domain for $.99 was an absolute steal and that was no reason anyone should complain about getting one to begin with.
The problem is come time to renew and they slap you with a $15 renewal fee.
Not after the discount, but for those who actually went straight through and paid the $12.99 and then got another $2 tagged on the following year.
Not cool.
Personal Email
As a website owner, I don’t see why you should have to purchase your own email accounts when you’re the person who owns that site.
I mean, who would want to use john@aworkathomejobs.com if they aren’t even associated with that site anyways?
For any other domain registrar, you will need to purchase this separately and it’s not going to be cheap either.
But guess what?
SiteDomains has it included and you can even forward it to a personal email so that you can still have all your email in one place.
That’s pretty sweet if you ask me.
Site SSL
You see that little green padlock on sites like Paypal and your online bank accounts?
That is an indicator that your site is secure for other people while they are on your site, which of course leads to better rankings from Google.
As an online marketer, this is something you need and if you were to get it with other providers, it is going to be another added cost.
Not with Site Domains.
Not All Domain Registrars are Created Equally
I love everything about getting a domain name and being the one behind the website as that just amazes me.
Now having all the little components in one place is even more amazing especially having to deal with the madness that existed just a few years ago.
See how SiteDomains sizes up against the competition and you’ll see how much value you are getting for one set price.
I think that’s a fair price and with the help and support offered on the site, you can expect to get help with any issues you may have without having to call anyone.
Do You Own Your Own Website?
As an online marketer, we all need our own domain (www.domain.com). Without one, we can’t say that we are running OUR OWN online business.
Some people join a multilevel marketing gig that gives them “their own” website and all of a sudden they think they are running their own business.
Sorry to ruin the party, but you are not running your own business and you do not own your own website.
Unless you actually purchase it yourself, you do not own it. If you were to quit that MLM, would you be able to take that site and put whatever you wanted on it? Didn’t think so.
Conclusion
Owning a piece of online real estate is a must if you want to stand out from the rest and it is very much needed if you plan on making money online.
Whether it’s SiteDomains or Godaddy, get yourself a piece of the online world no matter what and start making big things happen.
I hope this post has given you all the information you need to know about SiteDomains and I hope your online efforts are going well.
Cheers!
