As business owners, we all want traffic. In this review of Traffic Authority I want to show you if this will get you the traffic you need and a legitimate business opportunity or if you’ve just ran into another online scam.

I am not one to be interested in programs like this, but with their sales videos, they pushed the curiosity button on me and I had to see what they were really about.

What Traffic Authority is

The company started out with just offering traffic to website owners and now has developed into that plus multilevel marketing.

With the thousands of lotions and potions out there, business owners are now looking at non-tangible products to offer consumers, and this is just one of the many.

You won’t be getting some watered down detergent and you won’t be getting any facial cream either, so don’t be expecting some fancy presentation on how this product is better than others in the industry.

Who This is For

The target audience for Traffic Authority is online marketers and anyone doing business online. This is a little tricky, so you might want to read this review to its entirety.

This is also for anyone interested in multilevel marketing. This is not for everyone, so if you’re not into talking to people or recruiting, then you might want to try something else, even if your site could use more traffic.

There are ways to make money without MLM, so don’t think that recruiting people into a program through a product is the only way to “become your own boss”.

For the most part, this program targets anyone trying to make money from home, and most especially those that are already trying to make some type of money on the internet.

The Product

There isn’t much of a product offered here, but traffic is what they consider to be their product and that’s about it.

They use Facebook and Google as their examples, which is nothing but hype. You will not be making anything close to what they are making with this program, so leave the hype at the door.

The Price

For the membership alone, it is going to cost you $27 every single month. Then you have the traffic plans, which start you off at $220 and go as high as $8,000.

$8,000 for traffic? If I’m going to spend that much money, it is going to be through some pay per click with Google or Bing, but not on some “traffic” site.

Making Money

This is the ultimate reason anyone would join Traffic Authority, I don’t care what anyone tells you. There isn’t much of a product here, so you have the business side of things to focus on.

I honestly can’t stand MLMs even if I have had some success with them, but the first part of this program actually got my attention.

For the monthly to be $27 and the commissions to be $20, I think that is a fair deal. It’s when it gets to the traffic part that turned me off about this program, and this is also where the company earns it’s money.

Each package gives you the opportunity to gain commissions which range from $100 – $4,000. The formula is pretty simple, so there’s no beating around the bush with this one.

Sell the basic package at $220 and get $100 in commissions.

Sell the Diamond package and you get $4,000 in commissions.

Pretty simple right? I’ve seen a program called Income Society, which gave you the whole $45 monthly membership, and then split the overpriced items, which still didn’t get my approval.

What I Like

Although I’m not the biggest MLMer on the planet, I do try to find the good in every single program that I do a review on, even if I don’t agree with 90% of their business models.

For the most part, I like the fact that they do give you an opportunity to make some money, with network marketing. Again, I’m not a fan, but there is a possibility to make some extra cash.

The commissions are great for the first part of the program, but boy does the back side get a little steep. But to get $20 out of $27 is not a bad deal if you ask me. Now purchasing and reselling the other products is where things start to get out of control.

The Downside to Traffic Authority

I really can’t stand any type of up-sells, when it comes to any make money from home program. This one may be a little different, but there’s still more to it than just spending $27 every month.

On top of that, you have to purchase each level before you can even make any money with them and the lowest package is going to cost you $220.

The way they get you to purchase these hight ticket items is through their pass up rule. So if someone was to purchase a package and you didn’t get it yet, it will be passed up to the person that brought you into the program.

The Empower Network did that and so did many other high ticket MLM sites, which is how people start spending thousands of dollars on something that isn’t even tangible.

I don’t like the wash, rinse, and repeat cycle that comes with this or any other MLM program. Without a network, you are not going to make as many sales as you think you would.

Then you get to the over priced traffic items, which you also think you’ll be selling, but once again, that is not going to be some type of easy task.

It’s very hard for me to recommend something that doesn’t offer much value. I think I’d rather have you push out some fancy facial cream than to sell traffic packs.

If you were to purchase these traffic packs, what would you use it for? Your current biz? Yeah right. That’s what they say to get you started and then you’ll of course end up finding yourself promoting this program, due to the wonderful commissions you can get for selling traffic packs.

It’s really hard to say, because they do have a “product” and they cover their behinds with a nice little income disclaimer.

Put that bad boy on any site, and you really can’t say a thing about the business or product they are promoting.

Thanks to reviews like this, you can save yourself the hassle by getting a better understanding of what you will be getting yourself into before you decide to give it your all.

You can’t say you weren’t warned, so good for you on doing your research for this program. You have no one to blame but yourself, so be a good sport, even if you don’t make any money with this.

What I Really Think

These types of programs are really dependent on the person. It’s either you hate this or you praise it like it’s the best way to make money in the world.

If you are looking for an alternative to the whole recruiting shin dig, you might want to try programs like the Wealthy Affiliate. Best way to make money online, hand down.

In the end folks, it’s really up to you. Can you get people to follow you in this new business adventure? If so, then you can try and get the big commissions by getting them to signup under you.

If you have no clue as to what network marketing is, do yourself a favor and stay out of the 98% that isn’t making any money with MLM.
