Too many people want to make money online but most can’t do it due to the thousands of scam make money from home programs that are on the net today . To top it off, most people fall for the fancy cars and the screenshots of fat bank accounts, which is nothing but hype.
Personally, I have been on both sides of the spectrum, so this is more like I’m speaking from experience and sharing what I have come across in the almost two years as an online businessman.
My First Scam
I’m so glad I got scammed early on in my online career and I actually thank that scam for showing me that there was money to be made online.
Have you ever heard of Anthony Morrison? I discovered this dude one early morning as I came home from another night of drinking.
Of course I was skeptical, but for $19.99, I had to see what this dude’s program was all about. I can’t even tell you what the program was about because he didn’t want me to make money.
It was nothing but a gateway for his team to contact me asking questions like “what would you be willing to invest to secure your future”. That is the biggest load of doo doo that I have ever heard in my life.
They tried to tell me to get a loan or a credit card, just to pay for their coaching program. Did I do it? Of course not!
Well, I did think about it, until I found a review on Anthony Morrison, which I’m so proud of myself for doing research before I jumped in head first.
Show me the Money!
I have purchased program after program that claimed to show me how to make money online and every single one of them had the same marketing techniques.
“Look at how much money I make!”
“Don’t you want to quit your day job?”
“Checkout my Ferrari!”
“Let me show you how to get out of debt!”
I mean, who wouldn’t want to make a million dollars in 3 months right? I’ll take your offer even if you promise me that I’ll make that in 5 years!
Whatever bait they used, it definitely got my attention. The bad part about all of this, was the fact that I didn’t get a fancy car and my bank account didn’t increase. As a matter of fact, it shrank and I just got myself into further debt.
Penny Paying Make Money Sites
Then we have the get paid to take survey sites and the HYIPs that will probably never go away. Whatever the case may be, scam or not, they are out there.
The problem with these programs is the fact that they don’t pay any type of life changing income.
Yeah they can be completely legitimate, but it is not worth a second of your time. Some may say otherwise, but I can promise you that you will not make the money that they show you in all of these scam sites.
The Middle Ground
One of the many things I’ve learned online, is that the programs that don’t boat about how much money they make, are the ones that actually work.
Mind you there are only a handful of them out there, but they also have one thing in common. You are not going to make any money pushing some magic button!
There are online millionaires out there (I hope to be one soon) and yes they make a lot of money. Do you really think they made it by doing nothing?
I got my online business started at the Wealthy Affiliate, which is still my #1 recommendation for anyone looking to make money online, and I really owe it all to them for even getting me on the right track.
Now that I have learned what I need to know about making money online, I want to share that knowledge and offer help to anyone looking to do the same.
You Will Not Get Rich Overnight
If you haven’t heard this already, I want to be the first to tell you. You will not become an online millionaire overnight and there definitely isn’t some magic “system” that will get you there either.
Just like every other online millionaire, you will need to put in the work and learn how everything is done before you even make a dollar.
Another thing to keep in mind, is that it is not going to take you a week either, so if you’re looking for some type of get rich scheme, you might want to keep your day job.
Be Scam Smart!
I know that sometimes it’s hard to not give a program your money, especially when most of them are very affordable, but you need to be smart about things.
One thing that has helped me tremendously, (even if I spent thousands on scam) was this nice little rule.
“If it seems too good to be true, then it most likely is.”
Use this on your journey online, and you should be good to go. If a program shows you nothing but Ferraris and big houses, then you might want to skip that one too.
If someone claims that some push button software will make you rich, dodge that bullet too. Keep these tips in mind and you will be able to spot a scam from a mile away.
Thanks for your time and hopefully you don’t contribute to these scammer’s bank accounts and hopefully you start making money for yourself instead.
Don’t forget to checkout my #1 recommendation and who knows, maybe you too can start your career as an online marketer and eventually work from home full-time just like me!
