I really don’t know how this program has been around for the past 3 years without me getting it shoved in my face by one of its affiliates. The crazy part about all this, is that I actually like this one.

Before I get into the meat and potatoes of Shopping Sherlock, I thought I’d let you know that I have never promoted a single MLM after I started doing online marketing full-time, so this might be one to pay close attention to.

Although I may have my opinions, I will still give you an honest, straight forward, unbiased review of what this business is really about.

So What is Shopping Sherlock?

Is this multilevel marketing? Yup. Although there are people promoting this thing for the savings, there is a business attached to it, just like everything else.

If you were interested in savings, you can just use that too. There is more to it than just savings, so I would like to explain everything to you in detail, so that don’t dive headfirst and wonder why you’re not making money with this.

There are Two Sides to the Equation

Just like the other businesses in its class, there are two things that you need to understand before you start something you don’t intend to finish. I like to call these “hidden agendas”.

The Oh so Lovely Savings program

This is the first thing you are offered, which of course will get your attention. With the amount of people shopping online, almost everyone online can benefit form any type of savings.

I am not a fan of these save money programs, especially when it comes to some type of  multilevel marketing gig. I came across a program called the Dubli Network, and boy was I disappointed.

Shopping Sherlock is a little different though. Not only does it have better deals, but they give you savings with popular stores, like Amazon and Walmart. Who doesn’t shop on Amazon.com?

The Business Side of Things

This is where most people get turned off, but with their decent savings plan and an affordable affiliate program, this can be something you might want to get involved with (or not).

This is also what your “up-line” wants to close the deal with you and something you might want to think about before committing to something you’re not comfortable with.

Shopping Sherlock is Multilevel Marketing

If you’ve seen companies like Amway or any MLM, this is exactly that. Amway offers beauty products and diluted laundry detergent, and Shopping Sherlock offers savings.

Although this is not a tangible product, savings is their product of choice. To me, it can be an easy sale, but everyone’s different and if you are not the recruiting type, you might need to stay away from this.

Along with the product, you also need to be profitable or you’re really just wasting your time. Here is something that you need to consider if you do want to make this something you want to promote.

The Price and the Compensation Plan

These two go hand in hand with any MLM business. If you want to do the whole savings side of things, it is going to be free to join. If you want to become an affiliate and make money promoting this, it is going to cost you.

The Price

Basic Package: $19.99

S2 System: $239 + $10 fee = $249 total

*Both come with a $34 monthly charge, for you to continue to receive commissions

The Compensation Plan

When I used to do MLM, this was big. If a company didn’t offer decent payouts, I wouldn’t join it. If it wasn’t for affiliate marketing, I think I would still be jumping from MLM to MLM, due to how unstable they are. Here is what you can expect for being an affiliate with Shopping Sherlock.

You Need to Pay to be an Affiliate With Shopping Sherlock

If you want to make money promoting Shopping Sherlock, you will need to pay my friend. You can always just promote it, but you won’t make any money unless you pay.

9 Ways to Earn With Shopping Sherlock

  1. Sherlock usage income
  2. 20% override of Sherlock usage income
  3. Fast Start Bonus – Sherlock system sales
  4. Sales cycle bonus
  5. Subscription cycle bonus
  6. Team builder bonus
  7. Global check match
  8. Diamond global check match
  9. Equity program

Confused much? I don’t blame you. You can watch this video to get a better understanding, if you absolutely don’t understand that you need to sign people up to make money with this.

The Training

I really thought this came with some decent training, but I was wrong. Let’s face it, not everyone knows how to close sales and not everyone is comfortable just talking to anyone. Wouldn’t you want to teach your reps how to do that?

That is not the case with Shopping Sherlock, so that was a big ding in my book. The big problem I have with this, is that that they advertise it. Although they have little webinars now and then, there is training on the actual site for you to go to for a quick guide. Here are some of the things I liked and didn’t like with Shopping Sherlock.

The Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Can make you money
  • Does offer decent savings with big name companies like Amazon.com

Cons:

  • No tangible products
  • No training
  • Is recruiting
  • Only support is through your up-line
  • Is considered a pyramid style business
  • Kind of pricey

Price: $249 to get the complete package +34 monthly

Legit but kind of pricey. $34/month is not chump change and you can find savings for these products if you did a simple search on Google or Bing.

not-recommended

Is Shopping Sherlock a Scam?

This is not a scam, but something you need to really understand before you get involved. This or any MLM for that matter, is not for everyone. Period.

If you’re into the whole recruiting thing, you might want to consider this. At least you know what you need to do to make money with Shopping Sherlock.

Now would I recommend it? Probably not. There are just too many MLMs out there and you need to be really careful with them. Where would you go if this gets shutdown for no apparent reason?

Final Thoughts

In the end it is completely up to you. I just find MLM is not the easiest way to make money from home and they are not sustainable.

I don’t care how many people tell you that a company will be around forever, that is a big fat lie. The growth and stability of any MLM relies completely on its members.

If Shopping Sherlock shutdown today, where would you go? Just like when Wake Up Now Shutdown, I felt bad for all of its members who were more embarrassed than anything.

This is why I always recommend you build your own online business and you dictate when you get shutdown. There is also a lot more money in it, along with many other benefits.

Well I think I’ve covered enough on this business and I hope you have a better understanding of what to expect with this. Thanks for reading my review of Shopping Sherlock and I would gladly assist you if you have any questions regarding this business, so leave them in the comments section below. Cheers!

Its just coming to my country. i have been on the internet searching for peoples review whether the business is scam. Definitely this type of business is not for everyone but i think you can always try it. All the reviews have seen said the business is not scam but advice you in the long run not to do it because they are trying to market their own online marketing platform. Its a win win situation for me because if you diligently do it you will make money before the business shuts down. Thanks for the review.

Great review. Definitely a great opportunity to make some money with a bit of effort. To use the free app you need an invitation code. I’ve already saved £100’s. *code removed*
