Alright, I know nothing is completely free, but this one just has a shipping and handling charge of $8 bucks so I don’t want to hear it. I just finished this book and I thought I’d give a little of what I think about this not so free book.
Who This is For
If you really don’t have a product or you don’t know a thing about business, this is not going to do you any good.
This book is for existing businesses that can use a sales page for the backend of their product. If you don’t own a product or don’t do any type of online marketing, then this is not for you.
Summary
This book is about showing you how to create a sales funnel and making the most out of your product. Russell is a pro when it comes to creating these funnels and he shares a little about what he thinks these things can do for your business.
The Price
The book is free, but does require a shipping cost of $7.95. For that price, I think it is more than worth it. However, this is part of what Russell Brunson actually teaches, so it’s really up to you on what to think about this book and what follows.
There are several backend sales, most of which are not going to be $7.95 so you need to be careful not to fall inside the funnel.
Unless you are serious about creating a sales funnel, then you don’t want to purchase any of the up-sells that are offered in the book, which leads to the site.
What are Sales Funnels?
These are nothing more than a “you may also like” type of marketing. This is what you would call a nice little up-sell. This is a great technique for everything, but one.
As far as making money online products are concerned, I am definitely not a fan. If someone tells you they are going to show you how to make money, then that should be it.
There are no ands ifs or buts about it. I’m all about making money, but there are too many gurus out there that use this funnel and they are usually garbage.
Russell Funnels You Right Through his System
Just like how you get this book for free? That is the start of a funnel. It all starts with the free, which is the bait, and then you get sucked into the funnel through marketing tactics.
Once again, if you have a product, this will help you tremendously. If you are looking for a way to make money online, this will not be a great fit for you. If you are looking for a way to make money online, you should checkout the Wealthy Affiliate.
There are several other up-sells that Brunson will funnel you through, but I think the advice and content in this book will help any business get to where you want it to be.
Don’t Settle
What I’ve learned from this book is that you shouldn’t settle for what you THINK your business can offer. There is a lot more that your business can do if you at least open yourself to other things.
Get this free book and let Russell show you a thing or two about sales funnels and your business will do a lot more than you can imagine.
Will This Book Show You How to Make Money?
Like I said earlier, this will not be your best bet for making money online. I know the title kind of throws you off, but it’s main focus is building an existing business.
Russell is really good at what he does (marketing) and I can’t take that away from him. He is someone I look up to as a marketer and I believe he can help your business grow.
Final Thoughts
I think this book was worth the read. For $7.95 you really can’t complain. I plan to apply these techniques to my business and I will be sure to update this review and tell you how it went.
I haven’t given into the up-sells as I have too much on my plate at the moment, but I do plan to give it a shot. I guess you can say his marketing tactics worked on me!
This book will not show you how to become rich, but it will help you understand other ways to grow your business, so I do suggest you get yourself a copy.
