Royaltie Gem Review – Lead Generation Scam?

June 20, 2018 By //  by John Leave a Comment

royaltie-gem-review

Welcome to my Royaltie Gem review!

I’m sure you were presented with the opportunity to make some money that of course pushed you to do further research and that is actually really great on your part.

Trust me, I’ve been in your shoes before and I only wanted the best way to make a living and I thought MLM was the only way to do things until I was introduced to affiliate marketing.

Still a fan of network marketing but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking to simply make money online as the AM model is really all you need.

Now if you still find the products to be interesting, then hey, you might want to read the rest of this review as I’m sure we all want leads for our business.

Royaltie Gem Review – Product Overview

If one is to judge an MLM based on its founder alone, then Royaltie Gem has a lot going for it right from the start.

This company is the product of Justin Belobaba, a young entrepreneur who has made most of his loot in the technology sector.

The man has had some success in his day. In fact, in 2010, he was even named young entrepreneur of the year by Profit Magazine.

Good stuff, right?

It at least isn’t bad news and experience is always better than no experience, especially when it comes to establishing the credibility that MLMs often desperately need.

Of course, just because someone has been successful in the past does not mean that they will be successful in every venture that they pursue.

Keep in mind that in order to maximize profit, entrepreneurs usually spin a lot of plates in order to have as many revenue streams coming in as possible.

While we can hope that Belobaba’s attachment to this particular company is going to usher in success, we also can’t say for sure that it will.

Royaltie Gem Update

This relatively young company has actually already had a pretty major face lift.

While it originally started as an app service that helps you to get a little bit of cash back on all of your purchases in the department of health and beauty, it is now what the manufacturers refer to as a lead generator service.

We will discuss in the next heading what exactly that means.

In terms of how this business works, it’s pretty standard in terms of what we have come to expect from MLMs.

Your job, should you choose to accept it, will be to sell the products of the company to people in your community, and then receive a commission for each sale that you make.

You are also rewarded bonuses for recruiting additional affiliate marketers.

In other words, you get paid to convince other people to do the same job that you are doing.

This is an uncomfortable part of most MLM companies, but it is pretty much required if you want to make money in this field.

If you don’t feel very comfortable trying to recruit people to the company you are probably going to want to find a different entrepreneurial opportunity, because the world of MLM may not be for you.

I personally recommend one called Wealthy Affiliate, which is the same exact company that got me out of my 9-5 and also out of the network marketing madness.

It is also worth noting that this company is actually free to join, and when you do, you even get a small discount on their products for your personal use.

Free to join MLMs are actually pretty uncommon and of course I was skeptical as I’m sure no one will give you anything for free.

Generally, the median cost of pursuing these opportunities is at least $100, with price tags elevating the more deeply involved that you get.

Feeless programs always at the very least promote the notion that this is not a scam for affiliates.

Plus they give newbies the opportunity to dip their toes in the waters of MLM without much of a personal risk.

It does however look like affiliates are firmly encouraged, if not required to purchase several products for themselves.

All of this sounds pretty good, right? Let’s see what you think as we now take a look at what you will be selling.

The Products and How it Works

If you decide to pursue this opportunity, you are going to be selling what the manufacturers refer to as “gems.”

It sounds glamourous, but really it is not.

The gem is designed to be marketed towards small businesses through the promise of lead generation.

Lead generation here means, well, to put it bluntly, spam.

The “gem” is essentially a Wi-Fi router that broadcasts free Wi-Fi through the Bluetooth component of Android phones.

The Wi-Fi provides them with a secure way to surf the web, but it also gives the small business owner the opportunity to provide users with messages advertising their business.

There is a lot not to like about this and as a businessman myself I find this to be a little bit invasive on the consumer’s part.

For one thing, people are fairly sensitive to issues of privacy on their phones these days.

They probably are not going to appreciate being bombarded by advertisements on their personal cellular device.

There is also simply the matter of effectiveness to think about.

The gems can only reach people’s phones when they are within one hundred meters of the business, and when the Bluetooth component is activated.

Statistically speaking most people do not leave Bluetooth on their phones because it kills battery, and slows the phone down.

This means that the actual number of people even being reached by this device is very greatly diminished.

Does that mean that it is not worthwhile?

This can really only be determined by the people that you are trying to sell to, but don’t be surprised if you encounter a little bit of incredulity or suspicion as you try and make your sales.

Compensation

The Compensation plan is pretty standard in terms of what one would expect to see from and MLM.

Like many MLMs, the actual percentages that you get for commission is tiered based on your sales, and by how many people that you have recruited to become affiliates.

You can get a complete list of compensation figures form the company website, but the most important thing to understand is that your commissions increases the more subscriptions to their gem service that you are able to sell.

You also receive bonuses and commission increases through recruiting new affiliates.

Conclusion

So what is the verdict? Is this company worth giving a try?

Well, we can start by mentioning that this company definitely does not look like a scam.

In the world of MLM that isn’t always a given.

Whether or not you can make a profitable business out of the company is an entirely different matter.

How people respond to this product is probably going to be mixed.

Post Facebook scandal, it seems fairly reasonable that a device designed to intrude on cell phone privacy might not do so well.

Still, if you do think that you could have luck selling this product, we say go for it!

With the low overhead, there isn’t much risk to at least giving it a try.

Royaltie Gem Final Verdict

Summary

MLMs are all the same, with the main goal being the recruitment of others. If that is something you see yourself doing then this might just be for you. I give this company 2 out of 5 stars for at least offering some value on top of their recruiting business.
