Someone probably told you how amazing this company was and now you’re curious to see if this is some kind of pyramid scam or a legitimate way for you to start making money.
Through this Mannatech review I want to give you the ins and outs of what this business is really about and most especially if you should even bother with this or if you’re just wasting your time.
With the many multilevel marketing businesses out there, why in the world would this be your best choice?
Because your good old friend told you it was?
If this is your absolute first time being introduced to an MLM, I want to say great job in doing your research as I wasn’t as smart as you.
I simply listened to what my soon to be up-line told me to do and I let the hype and dollar signs make my decision almost every single time.
For you, this review will not just show you what this company is about but how you can approach any other “opportunity” in the future.
Let’s not waste any of our times and let’s get right into things because you could really be building an online business or doing something more productive.
Mannatech Review
Name: Mannatech
Website: www.mannatech.com
Owner: Samuel L. Caster
Price: $49.99 (annual fee) + products
Overall Rating: 2/5 stars
What is Mannatech?
Mannatech is a multilevel marketing business which focuses on the health and wellness niche.
Founded by Samule L. Caster, the company was founded in 1993 and that right there is a really good sign when it comes to any business.
However, there has been several complaints due to its claims of fighting off diseases but that is expected with any type of company that involves these specific products and the same thing happened with a very similar company called Kyani.
With many years under its belt and the lawsuits, you can’t help but wonder if this is really an opportunity or something that just needs to be avoided.
The Products
Mannatech has many different products that focus on weight-loss, skin care, and overall home living very much like Herbalife and Melaleuca, which are other companies that focus on the same type of products.
With their Glyconutrition that is derived from plants, Mannatech claims to provide your cells with the proper nutrients.
Completely organic along with many complaints and mixed reviews, you can only wonder if this is some type of placebo or if it is really something you should invest in.
When it comes to products like this it is very likely that you will have those that are in this for the business and then those that actually think the products are great.
However, with this type of controversy comes the business side of things and also the main reason why this company will continue to exist.
Everyone needs to make money and with their compensation plan in place, this is where and why people are out there promoting this company, which I will be getting into after I go over the cost to join Mannatech.
The Price
The products will all come with different price points and you can see that here.
Now to partake in the business side of things, you are required to pay a monthly fee that meets a certain requirements or you won’t be able to earn any money.
There will be a an annual fee of $49.99, which I think is a really good deal but that does not include any products.
That fee entitles you to 10% off and
The Mannatech Compensation Plan
Every MLM has a way for you to make money and it comes in that same pyramid style structure that most will consider a ponzi scheme.
Not me.
I look at this as a way to make money from the effort of others once you gain a foothold on your business.
The thing about this is the fact that they are beyond complicated.
Here’s what you make if Jane joins Joe and Joe joins Jill is what this part of the business consists of recruiting and making money through the whole “multilevel” structure.
Now rather than giving you a full breakdown of this compensation plan, I think it is better if you go here and see a full description of what you can make from the different levels of the business.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Has been around for decades
- Has actual products
- Can make you money
Cons:
- Company has a bed reputation
- False claims
- Mediocre products
Final Verdict: Legit But…
After being in business for over 20 years you can’t say that Mannatech is a scam.
However, the many lawsuits and complaints will not be great for any company and I’m sure it has tarnished their name but I’m also sure that they have and will try to fix these things.
Mannatech might not be your best bet when it comes to an MLM as there are hundreds to choose from but at the end of the day, it’s really on you as to whether or not this is something you can see yourself promoting.
As far as the products are concerned, I don’t see them doing anything crazy to your body and it is just another company trying to make it in the network marketing industry.
I personally wouldn’t recommend it as I think there are other companies with a better history, so please make your decision on everything and not just the business.
What I Really Think
Multilevel marketing will beat any j-o-b that’s for sure but the only issue is that it really is just not for everyone.
With a very low rate of successful network marketers, you might be better off doing something like affiliate marketing or even some e-commerce as the internet is really where you want to make your money.
I personally was able to make my living completely online with the training and support from a program called the Wealthy Affiliate, so that might be something you should consider if recruiting is not your thing.
Other than that, I hope this Mannatech review has given you a better understanding of what you can expect and I also hope that you can make a wiser decision on your own.
Thanks for reading and good luck!

Summary
Mannatech is your typical MLM but with a lot more complaints and negative reviews. It’s really hard to avoid any of that stuff but this company has seen way too many and therefore I give them 2 out of 5 stars.
