Bill Gates has held the title as “richest man in the world” for at least 17 of the past 22 years since he hit the #1 spot.
Within that timeframe, he’s almost always held that title, until July 27th, 2017 when Amazon.com’s Jeff Bezos passed him for at least a couple of hours.
Although he ended the day below Microsoft’s CEO and billionaire, it is really only a matter of time before he takes that spot and holds it for a really long time.
Why, you might ask?
Well, the internet isn’t going anywhere and Amazon is only gaining more traction as they are forever evolving in the world of online shopping and technology.
Just when you think they can’t come up with anything else, they come along with Drone delivery as well as opening jobs for anyone who want to make $28/hour delivering Amazon products.
Talk about reinventing the way we live.
So How Does All This Affect Amazon Associates?
As an Amazon Associate, this is big news for not only seasoned Amazon affiliates but for anyone looking to get into affiliate marketing.
Knowing that the online retail giant is only getting bigger it’s great news for anyone looking to make money selling other people’s products.

Some may question the life of affiliate marketing, but as long as the internet is around, sites like Amazon will always pay affiliates to promote their products as it is a proven method to bring them customers.
I remember when I got my start in affiliate marketing thinking that it’s a watered down method that wouldn’t work anymore.
Fast forward 3 years later and I’m actually doing this thing full-time with my income increasing by the day.

If Jeff’s billion dollar empire isn’t a sign that there is a lot of room for the little guy to make millions, you might want to get trained on some good old affiliate marketing.

I would like to congratulate Jeff Bezos on his HUGE accomplishment as I know he will do bigger things as time goes on.
Thank you for allowing people like myself, the opportunity to make my living completely online as I really don’t know what I’d be doing if it wasn’t for affiliate marketing.
Today was a great victory for Jeff but most especially for all the online marketers out there who found the passion of marketing products through the world wide web.
