Amazon has done big things in the online space and now they continue to do so in the real world.
Not a bad deal as the billion dollar online retail giant can spread the wealth by opening up new jobs to those looking to not only find work, but to also work a more flexible schedule.
Imagine making $28/hr delivering packages to people in your area?
Not even Dominos can pay that much!
Don’t forget that there are also very generous people out there and some might even leave you a tip, so you can very much cross the $28/hr mark.
If I wasn’t running my own online business, I don’t think I would’ve ever seen anything past $15/hr.
Thanks to Amazon, people like you and I can make more money from home through their new delivery service.
Introducing Amazon Flex
Amazon Flex does exactly what it says.
It allows you to flex (not like when you’re at the gym) your schedule and time to do everything else you want to do while still making some extra money.
From the stay at home mom all the way to the fireman dad, Amazon Flex allows you to work when it’s most convenient for you.
This is especially great for college students looking to make extra money to pay for books and all the little unexpected expenses that come with trying to earn that degree.
Amazon Flex is for anyone and everyone.
The best part about all this is that they don’t pay pennies.
How Much Can You Make?
How does $18-$25 an hour sound?
Of course that would bring many questions to mind since that almost sounds too good to be true, so allow me to explain.
Amazon does pay you that much, but there has to be a catch, right?
Well, not really.
Maybe the fact that it is only available to a few cities at the moment, but you can always join their waitlist so you can get notified if the opportunity becomes available in your area.
If you live in the following cities, you can get started with Amazon Flex and start making some extra cash.
- Las Vegas
- Greater Los Angeles
- Minneapolis/St. Paul
- New Jersey
- New York
- San Antonio
- Greater San Francisco area
- San Diego
- Springfield (VA)
- Tampa Bay
- Virginia Beach
As of now, these are the only cities that are using Amazon Flex, but they are continuing to add more cities every month, so definitely join their waiting list if this is something you are interested in.
You can get started with an existing Amazon account or you can create a new one just for Flex purposes.
They also require a background check, which usually takes any where from 2-5 business days.
Your vehicle also needs to pass some basic requirements, so if you plan on using an unregistered vehicle, good luck there.
An insured, registered, vehicle under your name is required, so do keep in mind that you will be using your own vehicle to make these deliveries.
Everything is Done on the Amazon Flex App
To get started with Amazon Flex, you will need to first apply and then download the Amazon Flex app.
From there you just need to login and set your own hours.
Then you will need to pickup your packages, from which you will scan using your phone and the app.
Once you have scanned the item you will be directed (from the app) on where to deliver the package using GPS technology.
Once you have delivered the package, your work will be calculated automatically, so there’s no need to clock in and clock out as it will all be done for you.
When you have delivered the product, you can then check your earnings to see how much you have made from that delivery.
Pretty simple, right?
This is definitely something to consider if you meet all the requirements.
Join Amazon Flex Today
This is a great program and I highly recommend it to anyone with an already busy lifestyle or anyone who is out of a job.
This is perfect for absolutely anyone and everyone as long as it is approved in your area, so I suggest you at least give it a try, see how it goes, and then decide from there.
It won’t make as much money as you would if you had your own online business, but it does pay a decent amount.
