Today I want to show you how I make money selling other people’s products through a business model like no other.
Forget about buying products and stocking a store like a regular business requires you to do and let me show you how modern day entrepreneurs are doing it.
I have been doing business online for the past 3 years and I want to show you exactly how I did it.
Mind you, I am not some type of computer geek and I am definitely not the smartest person out there.
If anything, I’m far from it.
However, I have managed to make more money online than my regular jobs paid me and I wouldn’t have done it any other way.
Thanks to this thing called affiliate marketing, we are now able to make money online selling other people’s products.
But before you get excited thinking it is going to be some walk in the park, let’s get through some of the basics.
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is nothing more than taking other people’s products and selling them to earn a commission in the process.
Sounds pretty simple right?
Not exactly.
There is a lot more that comes with this business and I don’t want you to get too excited and end up like the rest of them that don’t make any money online.

Getting Started
I know most of you don’t know this, but you have probably been on a website or a blog and you have made the owner of that site some money.
I know what you’re thinking. It is impossible for you to create your own website because you don’t know a thing about computers besides the fact that it helps you keep up with your friends on Facebook.
Believe me, I thought the same thing until I actually gave it a shot. If you want to market other people’s products, you are going to need a home for it in order to make money.
Some marketers may argue this and try to pitch to you that you do not need a website, but they all own one. It is definitely not impossible, but it is in your best interest especially with the fact that you are new.
How You Make Money
This is probably one (if not the only thing) thing that is on your mind and that is totally normal. We all want to learn how to make more money and that is nothing new.
Making money with affiliate programs are as simple as taking your affiliate link and putting it on your website for people to click on, which is how your pay is tracked.
The person who was on your site, will then be directed to the merchant’s site where they will then be able to make a transaction. If the person buys, you get a certain percentage of the sale, which will add up very quickly.
Sometimes you don’t need to purchase any products and people can get paid simply by clicking on ads. There are many companies (especially the big ones) that pay thousands of dollars just to have their ad seen and some offer it just for a click.
If you haven’t noticed, you can see Google ads all over the place and some people make thousands of dollars just from people clicking on their ads on their site.
Then you have networks like Monumetric, which pays you for every view (PPV).
So if you get eyes on your site and they simply see any ads with that network, you will get paid.

Amazon & Zappos Want To Pay YOU to Promote Their Products
Believe it or not, there are thousands of affiliate programs out there that want you to promote their products and most businesses won’t survive if it wasn’t for affiliates getting their product out there.
Here are a few companies that offer affiliate programs and yes, you can make money selling their stuff too. Some offer higher commissions than others, but they all pay.

AmazonThese are just a few, but know that there are literally thousands of affiliate programs out there and these are just a couple that might interest you. Most retailers have their sites listed in a “hub” for affiliate programs where you can find majority of these products.
Affiliate Networks
When you look for affiliate programs or products to promote, some of them have their affiliate programs within their websites, but there are those that partner up with networks to simplify the whole affiliate process. Here are some of the affiliate networks that host some of these big names.

- Linkshare
- Double Click Performics
these networks host thousands of vendors who are affiliated with them and will give you an extensive list of affiliate programs that you can put into your blog.
It’s always best to work with programs that offer higher affiliate commissions and that is why I like to work with companies like My Lead System Pro.
There’s nothing better than having things done for you all while earning the highest possible commissions as an affiliate marketer.

With the crazy amounts of money to be made online, you will need to learn how to put this all together. You don’t want to put the carriage before the horse now do we?

The best thing about this whole thing, is that it’s all about scaling your business. It all starts with a little and then next thing you know, you’re making a killing.

Affiliate marketing is truly an amazing thing and I wish more people knew about it as there is just so much money to be made.
Although the income potential is through the roof, way too many people worry about the money and end up quitting because they didn’t know what to do.
As long as you have the best training, some support, and that willingness to make it, then you won’t have any problems.
There are not many programs that work but I know that Wealthy Affiliate and MLSP are the best out there.
WA does offer a free starter membership while MLSP only has a $10, 10 day trial.
Again, WA is great for beginners and those on a budget but MLSP is for those that are looking for more of a done for you, automated approach.
Either way, they both work.

You DO NOT need any business or product my man and what you are creating with something you are interested in (your niche) is going to be YOUR business. I use a program called Wealthy Affiliate, which has all the training, websites, domains, and everything else you need to sell other people’s products. A niche is simply just an interest that a certain group of people have and something you can use with your personal preference. So if you like fishing, your niche can be on that and your business will be built around it. You do need a domain and you will want to choose something you can brand and even be used in reference to your niche. richfishing.com, fishingwithrich.com, etc. You will choose this as well, so everything you are going to build will be whatever you decide on and not by what someone else wants.

I most definitely make money selling other people’s products Mark as I wouldn’t post something I didn’t do myself. This is also the same exact way I make my income online and I learned everything at Wealthy Affiliate.
The premium membership definitely offers EVERYTHING you need to make these transactions happen. By simply choosing a niche (something you’re interested in) and building out a site around that niche, you will get the traffic (also taught at WA) to make you money.
The whole money making process is explained in the first few lessons which you claimed to know already, but I can still explain it more for you here.
By becoming affiliated with sites like Amazon, you then get your unique affiliate link, which will then be incorporated into your site. From that point, your visitors will take some type of action using that link, and you in turn will get paid. Make sense?

I was an affiliate to some guys that asked almost every member to say their own products, that wasn’t a problem but the price was killing, you pay so much to get in and pay so much every month to keep it running on their own site.

Definitely too many people being taken advantage of and I was once one of those people. Most sites are strictly recruiting based and will last for so long before everyone realizes that they aren’t in something sustainable.
Now by selling other people’s products with affiliate marketing, you are really just giving people what they want in the first place, which is a win/win situation.

I have sold a lot of stuff online with a lot of success.. love it ran into some financial difficulties requiring me to do so lot of items were sold at a price far below market value. However I also realize that if you need money sell the stuff… one item that comes in mind is a 10 hp Honda outboard for $500 this item sold first caller after viewing and startup.. I really didn’t know what value was as I bought used and a package, boat motor and trailer,didn’t lose money but was way out f wak this unit new was $3500 because I’m an old fart really out of touch with the pricing but I’m honest and don’t want to screw anyone. Love to sell and get big high when I do so regardless of price …I have a lot of resources of peoples stuff and crap they want to rid of and things I’ve seen with sales signs on that are really sellable items if marketed properly thats what I want to do, as well as antique auto parts which I have great access to.. can I do so without paying a good portion of my sales to you?

How much you earn will depend most especially on your efforts and your niche. I replaced the military and my full-time job within a year and I have been doing this full-time for the last two. You will definitely not make any money right off the at as it is something that you have to build. Once you have everything in place, the money will come and then it’s all a matter of scaling things and making more money.

Thanks for the comment and not a problem! Avoiding scams is really hard to do and that is why I created this site in the first place. Affiliate marketing is amazing and there are some costs to starting and maintaining your business just like you would any other one.
The Wealthy Affiliate is the absolute best place to not only learn affiliate marketing, but also to run and maintain your site. You can actually try the program for free, without even putting any credit card info, so you can even try that for now.
They do have a first month’s discount and you can get their premium membership for $19. After that it will be $49/month and that is it. There is no where that allows you to run a business for that price, so it is really a no brainer deal.
The earning potential with affiliate marketing is through the roof and it is all a matter of what you really want to make. I have replaced my full-time job and I do work from home full-time thanks to that site. I believe what you are trying to do is called e-commerce. You will need to go to sites like Shopify.com, where you can create a store online and sell your products.
