From the looks of things, you can almost guarantee that Piggy Bank GPT is a legit site as there is nothing that screams scam on just their homepage alone.
With some further research and a little messing around on the site, that’s when things start to get “too good to be true” and ultimately the reason as to why I put this review together.
With the hundreds and thousands of make money type sites on the net, it’s really hard to trust any of them as most of their claims are a bit out of this world.
With Piggy Bank GPT, they have their claim of “paying since 2010”, which is enough to make people believe that they are a legitimate site.
That’s not the case here so follow along as I pick apart yet another scam that you need to avoid.
What Exactly is Piggy Bank GPT?
What this site is supposed to be is a rewards site that pays you for doing simple tasks like taking surveys, watching videos, etc.
The whole “GPT” stands for “get paid to”, which is a very common way that people are making a couple of bucks for doing simple tasks.
I don’t know who owns the site exactly as there have been some recent changes but I do know that the site was started in 2010.
How it Works
By simply filling out a survey or watching videos, Piggy Bank GPT will reward you in the form of gift cards for doing simple things.
That’s what would happen back in the day but it seems that a lot has changed and has resulted in a more negative impact on the site and its members.
I’ve heard that there are new owners of this site and that has also caused some complaints to arise and everything seems to be on a downhill slope.
If everything were running smoothly, you would actually make anywhere from $.20 – $2.50 per task.
Just like most other get paid to sites, you can also make money by simply referring people to the site.
By doing this, you can make 5% from their earnings as well as 1% from the people that they bring in.
If things were to be that way, this would be a great program to put your time into, but I think now is just not the time to do so.
If doing simple tasks is what you’re looking to do, I recommend you try Swagbucks as they are paying and also pay the most in the world of “get paid to” type sites.
“Piggy Bank GPT is Not Paying”
According to some of its members, the site used to pay before it changed owners but there has been word that they are no longer paying its members.
This might be the reason why they are not paying anyone but regardless, they should keep its members in the know.
There is no explanation of what is going on but as of right now, this is one site that you might want to skip.
Final Verdict: Not Recommended
I wouldn’t go as far as calling this a scam but this is definitely one site you don’t need to get involved with.
With the fact that it is completely free to join, you will not be losing any money and this isn’t a phishing scam either.
What it seems like is nothing more than a site that needs to get things together and will eventually pay its members as I don’t see someone purchasing something and then just letting it sit.
Piggy Bank GPT is not a scam but definitely don’t waste your time on it.
Conclusion
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of these penny paying type sites but if you absolutely, positively feel that this is what you want to do, you might want to go with of course Swagbucks, Ibotta, or even do something like get cash back with Dosh.
Piggy Bank GPT is just not worth the hassle.
Now if you want to make some real money online, I always recommend a program called the Wealthy Affiliate, as they are the same exact site that got me out of my day job.
They don’t pay you anything but they will teach you how to make the type of money people only dream of, so definitely check them out if that is something that might be of interest to you.
Other than that, thanks for reading my short and simple review of Piggy Bank GPT and hopefully I have given you the information you were looking for.
