Is MOBE Finally Shutdown? All I’m Wondering is What Took so Long

Last Updated: August 30, 2018 //  by John

So it has finally happened.

My Online Business Education (MOBE) has finally been shutdown.

Well, at least the FTC has filed a civil lawsuit Matt Lloyd and all the trademarks, websites, and names he is affiliated with and he is now in hiding.

Not to sound bitter or in any way offensive to Matt Lloyd and his affiliates but I’m sure they all knew what they were involved with and as much as they tried to cover things up, it’s really hard when you have nothing but make money online promotions all over the place.

From the hundreds of personalized sales funnels to MOBE to all the members trying to get others to join, it has been a long ride and one I didn’t see lasting for so long.

Then again, I think their knowledge of what is legal and what isn’t has bought them some time up until a couple of days ago when the truth has finally come out.

The Switch

I have been doing business online ever since MOBE got started so I know their many steps that they have taken to try to get under the radar.

The biggest change being their name.

From My Online Business Empire to My Online Business Education is an obvious indication that they are trying to be some type of education rather than a make money from home program.

What doesn’t jive is the fact that all they promote is “make $10k” here and “make thousands of dollars online” there, which absolutely does not go with any type of “education”.

Recruiting Scheme at its Finest

The biggest problem I have with these types of scams is that people go crazy and get brainwashed thinking that they will make the type of money that Matt and the top 3 affiliates are making but that is only a way to get the small guy to join.

Get 100 desperate people looking to make money online and you can very much make money.

When I first did my research on how to make money online, it led me to two companies that I had to decide on.

The Empower Network and the Wealthy Affiliate.

I knew that WA was the real way to do things but the huge commissions and stories of EN members made me go down the wrong path.

After going “all in” and realizing that my money went straight to the person who introduced me to EN, it took me less than a month to realize what I was really in.

Did I try to recruit others to at least get back the money I put in?

Nope.

I cut my losses and moved on.

That also led me to creating this site to save others from the scams of the net but there is really only so much I can do.

The daily arguments I had with high ticket members became a headache and there was some people that would never learn pretty much due to the fact that they had already invested.

Of course EN got shutdown, then Digital Altitude, and now MOBE.

Those are the 3 big names in high ticket ponzi madness and I am glad that everything has finally ended.

There are still a bunch of them out there trying to take over, but I’m sure the news has gotten to them by now.

MOBE Affiliates in Panic

Just like when the top affiliates about pooped their pants when Digital Altitude got busted, the same thing is happening with MOBE.

Just because Matt Lloyd is the mastermind behind this does not mean that others are safe.

Those millions of dollars that were once celebrated are now trying to be hidden from social media but it is too late.

Big timers out there claiming “we are no longer going to do business with MOBE because we found something better”.

Yeah right!

If you know your up-line has made millions of dollars from MOBE (you) please continue to try to get your money back as everything is still trying to get sorted out.

I mean, what can you really do when Matt Lloyd is hiding, right?

What I do wonder is what John Chow and other bloggers I used to look up to will be promoting next.

Whatever the case may be, please stay away from any of the people involved with MOBE as they all have no interest in making you money as they will ONLY make money if you join them and their “team”.

The next time you see some video with a Lamborghini or a mansion, just close that window and move on.

What Does This Mean For Future Online Marketers?

Always do the right thing.

No matter how desperate you are for money, business is great but stick to real products and honest marketing.

There is no way that you should have to pay $30,000 to learn how to make money online no matter what anyone says.

You have no idea how many negative comments I get from any and every high ticket program out there and I’m glad this can serve as a HUGE lesson to anyone involved with this type of nonsense.

Can you believe that my hosting provider was forced to take down my MOBE review?

Trying to save their name from honest people trying to expose them but the truth will always come out.

For those of you who have been on here before and tried to tell me that I don’t know what I’m talking about, I rest my case.

For those of you who are still trying to find a legitimate way to make money online, I’m sorry to say, but you will have to put in the work like everyone else.

And I don’t mean telling your friends how amazing your education platform is because that is no way to do business.

Get the right training, surround yourself with the right people, and you will find success.

Sorry to say that there will be no more MOBE retreats but I’m glad that no one will lose anymore money.
