InboxPays Review: Legit Survey Site or Scam?

I know a lot of you have been wondering if this was a scam or a legitimate site to do small tasks, so here is the InboxPays review that you have been waiting for.

Sorry it took so long but I’m glad to finally get around to it and I’m sure you will appreciate what I have dug up.

Judging a book by its cover, I almost thought this would for sure be another legitimate survey site that I can recommend but through a little testing and searching for actual user reviews, I was quite disappointed.

Sad face.

I won’t be taking much of your time here as there isn’t much to say but you can always checkout Swagbucks and MyPoints that are not only legit but have way more options for surveys and of course pay a lot better.

So if you haven’t already signed up for those sites, they will actually be your best bet.

What is InboxPays?

InboxPays is a GPT (get paid to) type of site that rewards you for doing simple tasks like taking surveys, reading emails, playing games, coupon clipping, shopping, and even spinning their big win wheel.

It is completely free to join and they will actually pay you $5 just for signing up.

There is also an affiliate program in place, which means that you will have the opportunity to make money just by simply sharing your personal InboxPays link.

How it Works

Do any of the simple tasks mentioned above and make money.

Taking surveys is of course their main means of making money and it is usually required before you can do any of the other tasks.

There is also a pre-screening before you get to the actual survey, so if you don’t get through that portion, you won’t be able to finish the survey and ultimately not making any money.

Take two surveys and you get a chance to spin the big wheel and make more money.

It does not pay much but I guess it makes things a little more fun and interesting.

For the surveys, you can expect to make anywhere from $.50 – $1.00 and although I have heard of others making $5, I have not been able to find any evidence.

With the other offers you can make more but of course that will require you to put some credit card information and something I wouldn’t recommend.

Once you have accumulated the minimum amount of $50, you will then be able to cash it out but you will need a PayPal account as that is the only payment processor they accept.

Wasn’t expecting to see many complaints from this site but I was wrong.

Some of the issues people seem to have with Inboxpays is that their minimum threshold for withdrawing your money is set to $50.

There is also a high report of spam being sent out but that is something you should expect when signing up to something free.

You can always unsubscribe to their mailing list if you want to make things easier on yourself.

The biggest complaint is from people who are not getting paid and this is about where I draw the line.

See what real members are saying here and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

“I knew i would figure out the catch to this. I have accumulated $34.15. For three days if i go into the email i am not accumulating anything. RIPOFF”

— feeling angry.

“This company is a joke. You get to the $50.00 amount to cash out and they give a number to call to verify and they never answer they tell you call back later and hang up on you. You try to send in a support ticket and you can not do that either. This is worst survey page I have ever come across. They should be removed. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM. THEY DO NOT PAY. WASTE OF TIME.

There is nothing worse than not getting your money after doing all that work to meet the $50 threshold.

Not answering questions and having poor support are one thing but not getting paid is a big no-no in the world of making money online.

So is InboxPays a Scam?

Definitely not a scam but it is far from being one of our recommended survey sites from the list of hundreds.

There are just too many complaints that it would not be worth your time and effort, especially with the other options out there.

The only real pros I got from InboxPays is the fact that they are free to join and they offer you $5 just for signing up.

Now that $5 is kind of useless if they aren’t paying, so keep that and the minimum $50 threshold if you really think you can reach that amount.

When joining a GPT site you always want to get the most out of your investment (your time) and this is not going to be one that will help you accomplish that.

I do not recommend InboxPays and I think you need to add this to your list of sites you SHOULD NOT join.

What I Really Think

There are only a few legit survey sites and then there are only a handful of survey sites that are actually worth your time and effort.

If you have not tried Swagbucks, I highly recommend you give them a try as they are the best survey site out there.
