With a name like News-person.com, I really don’t know how anyone can believe that this is actually a legit site.
Or actually, I do.
You become desperate and gullible and will do anything to make money, especially when it’s free.
I know this because I was once in your shoes and fell for one of these get paid to read the news scams.
Now you’re probably wondering how in the world you can call something a scam when it’s completely free to join?
Well, that’s why I have actually done this review, to save you from becoming another victim from something that seems so “whatever”.
So if you think you’re safe even if you don’t have to spend any money, this review is for you.
So What is News-Person?
Other than a name that doesn’t make sense, it is a site claiming to pay you for doing something so simple as reading the news.
The site has no indication of who owns it and there is no income disclaimer, which already had me questioning the site from the beginning.
There is also no product associated with this site and only a referral program, which allows you to make more money by recruiting other people.
The Red Flags
There’s already the poor grammar, which I’m sure most of us just ignore, but that in itself is a very good indicator that you are on a site that is not legit.
“Want online job?”
“Want earn money?”
That along with the domain name news-person.com is enough for me to know that I am involved with some type of scam, but not even that stopped me from signing up simply because it’s free, which is another great scam indicator.
When someone promises to pay you without you investing any money, that is another good sign you’re in something shady.
It’s not so much the not paying to make money as there are ways to make pennies taking surveys, but it’s more on the amount that they pay.
Anything over $5 is unheard of in the industry and these days, you’ll be lucky to even make a $1 from taking surveys, but there is no one out there that is going to pay you to read the news.
Period.
Then they claim to pay you $150 for every person you recruit?
You have got to be kidding me.
But There’s Proof
Sure there are those that claim that they have met the $7,000 minimum threshold and they have screenshots to show for it.
These screenshots are taken from their News Person back office and not from their actual Paypal or bank accounts, so don’t trust that for a second.
Now I’m sure you signed up because it’s free, but there’s actually something to lose if you’re not careful and I would like to explain.
How the Scam Works
For some of you, everything may seem legit because of the pics they use on the site, but even my 8 year old son can create this stuff.
So how do they scam you even if you don’t have to pay?
Through a thing called identity theft.
They don’t care if you pay nothing as these scammers want your info.
When you filled out your info to join, they’ll try to tell you to make it really hard, so that you can be safe, but this is all planned and designed against you.
Then you need to put in your Paypal details if you want to get paid, and this step can make the difference on whether or not you will be attacked.
After you’ve put in all your info, these idiots will try to match your password with your Paypal email address, and login trying to transfer money to their account.
So if you’ve put in any sensitive information onto this site, now would be a great time to change your passwords.
News Person is Another too Good to Be True Scam
Sure we all want to make money online but it isn’t going to happen by reading some article or by recruiting others to do the same.
News Person is a scam and you need to avoid it and any other get paid to read the news sites out there as there are literally hundreds of them that are created after one goes down.
They all come with the same website theme and promises, but none of them will pay.
My Recommendation
You can keep hoping and praying that one of these sites will work, but I can tell you that you are wasting your time.
If you want to make money online, it is going to require you to work and it isn’t going to be easy.
I have tried many of these scams and I can assure you that it is almost impossible not to come across a scam before you actually land on a legit program, but they do exist.
Read more here to see the same exact program that made me money online and see how it can work for you too so you don’t have to waste your valuable time.
Other than that, please stay away from the News Person scam as there is no one making a single penny on this site.
Until next time, be scam smart, and remember to always do your research.
Cheers!
