With so many confusing Digital Experts Academy reviews out there it’s really hard to see who is really trying to help and who is just trying to get you to purchase the product so that they can make money.
For me, I just know too well what these types of programs are about and I’m about tired of seeing anything with the word digital and/or academy attached to it making everyone think that they are getting some high class education online because they really aren’t.
So rather than trying to tell you what kind of goodies you get for joining DEA, I would rather tell you how everything works as there is always some kind of hidden agenda attached to these overpriced training courses.
If you want nothing but the truth then you might want to read this post to the end as it is packed with valuable information that its members will never tell you.
Let’s get right into things so you can get on your way with things and either join DEA or save it for the next person who feels that they actually can use what they have to offer.
Digital Experts Academy Review
Name: Digital Experts Academy (DEA)
Website: www.digitalexpertsacademy.com
Owner: Jay Kubassek & Stuart Ross
Price: $2,500 – $20,000
Overall Rating: 1/5 stars
So What is Digital Experts Academy?
DEA is an online education platform created by Jay Kubassek and Stuart Ross who are no newbs to the online world and making money from it.
The program focuses on affiliate marketing but with a serious price tag that I already know why exists.
But I’ll get into that later as there are more important things to go over before anything else.
The owners of this site are also the ones running a program called Six Figure Mentor and that is linked to DEA.
How you might ask?
Well I guess I can cover that next.
But do understand that there are no tangible products associated with DEA, so don’t think that you will be getting anything for the cost that I will be covering later.
How DEA Works
I’m not sure if you’ve seen their little image on how things work but it literally cracks me up.
Everything that you are told is nothing but marketing that is meant to work against you.
That so called “expert guidance” is a way for them to actually be in contact with you just so they can butter you up and tell you why you need this program.
Now what they do teach is affiliate marketing but the thing about this is that you can literally find free training all over the net on the same exact topic.
The problem with that is you will be more confused than anything if you tried to go about things on your own.
I personally make my living using the affiliate marketing model but I did not spend anything close to what these guys are asking.
I used a site called the Wealthy Affiliate and I pay $49/month to not only learn how to use this amazing model to make money but also have all the tools, help, and support necessary to make it online.
Now there is a reason as to why they are asking for such a high price and that is really what I want to explain.
So you already know that the training taught here is pretty much free on YouTube and all over the net.
What they try to do is add all kinds of fancy things to justify the price but even at that, there is more to the equation.
When you join DEA, you will be introduced to their awesome compensation plan, which is where all the madness starts.
Although they do teach affiliate marketing, you will normally get small commissions here and there, which is perfectly fine and the way it should be.
This is where they come in and start showing you how much money you can make if you were a DEA affiliate and this will go into the thousands.
Now you tell me which route anyone would take?
The thousand dollar commission route of course.
The real problem with this site is the fact that you can’t just go out there and promote DEA for free like you would with every other legitimate affiliate program out there.
They claim these to be “resell rights” but it is nothing but a way to get you to purchase these overpriced products so that you can pay the person who introduced DEA to you.
Once you give into the marketing, it’s really all a matter of going out there and introducing the same digital education platform that you just joined.
And yes, it is really that simple.
The Price
For starters, how about $2,500?
Keep in mind that that is only the beginning and is also only an annual payment.
Come this time next year and you will have to pay that same amount.
But there’s more.
Somewhere in their sneaky marketing will there be more products to purchase.
Forget about what kind of training it is, the sole purpose for these up-sells is for you to spend more money all while making the owners and the person who brought you in more.
Imagine spending $20,000 on some digital education on affiliate marketing.
I say imagine but that is the reality if you were to give into their highest priced product.
Back in my early days of trying to make money online I figured that if I was going to spend a lot of money on a program then there is no way that it can’t work.
In the online world, it’s quite the opposite.
Anything that costs as much as a brand new car claiming to teach you how to make money online is nothing but a recruiting based site that disguises its hidden agenda with some type of “education”.
So is DEA Even Legit?
With some type of product, it’s really hard to bust these types of sites.
Now once people start losing money (because they will) that’s when all the complaints will come flying out of the closet and then the FTC will get involved.
Same thing happened with Digital Altitude a couple of months ago and this is no different.
Although I can say DEA is not completely a scam, it is definitely not something you want to get involved with.
Unless you have the money to spend and you understand that you will need to have someone else do the same exact thing you just did then that’s all on you.
If affiliate marketing is what you want to learn, then please don’t think that you even need $500 to do so.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Has some solid training
- Can make you a lot of money
Cons:
- Way overpriced
- Designed to work against you
- Definitely focused on having you promote DEA
- Nothing but hype
- Not recommended
As an affiliate marketing professional I hate seeing people get taken advantage of and that’s what happens with DEA and the other high ticket programs out there.
See how this stacks up with the one affiliate marketing platform that has not just taught me how to make money online but is also responsible for me making my living completely online for the past four years.
What I Really Think
At the end of the day this is really nothing but a recruiting based ponzi.
I hate to tell it like it is but having someone spend $20,000 just so you can take half of that is flat out unethical and something I will not condone.
Now if you think that I’m just talking from speculation, please know that I have done my share of spending thousands of dollars just to find out that I’m in a recruiting gig.
Rather than sitting there complaining about how I got scammed, I cut my losses and use that as a learning experience.
Fast forward a year after throwing thousands of dollars away and I am proud to say that I am one of the few that actually work from home full-time.
Was it thanks to a high ticket ponzi?
Heck no!
It’s all thanks to that same $49/month program that taught me everything I know.
The Wealthy Affiliate.
So if you are looking to learn affiliate marketing, that’s where you want to go.
Other than that, I hope this Digital Experts Academy review has helped you gain a better understanding of how everything really works.
I’m sure its members will disagree with what I have to say but that’s just how it always is.
Trust me on this one, you do not want to even purchase the first product or you will regret it later.
Thanks for reading and good luck!
Digital Experts Academy - Conclusion
Summary
DEA is a typical high ticket ponzi scheme with overpriced products that are designed to hype you up and give you that feeling that you are about to get rich. This brings nothing new to the table and there is no way I can recommend this, especially if I was going to take thousands of dollars from you. I give DEA 1.5/5 stars and they are definitely not going on my list of recommended programs.
Great job John!
I didnt know much about Digital Experts Academy before reading your post. And you are absolutely right, it’s really hard to see who is really trying to help and who is just trying to get you to purchase the product so that they can make money.
I believe it is crazy to go pay 2500 dollars for something that can be much cheaper online, we just have to put on the time and research to make things happen.
Again great content.
Thanks Albert!
Hi John,
As soon as you mentioned the names, Jay Kubassek and Stuart Ross, I knew what you were going to say about Digital Experts Academy.
When I looked into Six Figure Mentor I soon realized that it is a scam. And here’s the same guys doing it again.
DEA has all the same warning signs. High-cost training on how to recruit others to sell the same product that you are selling, i.e. the training program! What?
Yes, a legit training program may do that as well, but the main focus should be affiliate marketing. How to find a niche market. How to build and grow a website to market a product or service. Add continuously updated training, access to the founders, and a pay-it-forward community that helps each other and you’ve got the formula for success.
Thanks for exposing DEA for what it is, another scam.

Hi John, you spelled it correct – the high ticket Ponzi scheme. I would certainly call it a scam. Instead, I am happy with the #1 recommended programme suggested by you. WA offers the free trial and that the best part of it. First experience the taste and then decide to take a full ride. Can you explain why WA does not provide free membership in few countries?
Thanks once again for saving me from the scam, John.
Warm Regards,
Gaurav
Some countries aren’t accepted due to the high volume of fraud from there. However, they do allow them to go premium if they’d like and that is something I had to do when I joined as there was no free trial back in 2014.
Like you, John, I’m also tired of websites and programs that promise to make you rich quick, and are only trying to part me with my hard-earned cash. There seems to be an awful lot of such scams online, or if not scams, then highly unethical offerings that don’t deliver on their promises. Your review has convinced me to stay away from another one, named Digital Experts Academy.
I guess it’s still Buyer Beware with online products, same as brick and mortar business products. Thanks for your review.
Hi John,
Thanks for the write up and review on Digital Experts Academy. It’s amazing to me that folks are consistently trying to sell these type of “opportunities”. As you pointed out in your write up it is a real deal but it’s nearly impossible to see how you’d make money at it. And that upfront cash needed? Crazy. How many people in their right mind who are trying to MAKE MONEY online have $2,500 to give to someone for training? It seems just silly to me.
Like you I think quite highly of the WA plan and support. It’s a fantastic program well worth the investment. Just takes dedication and hard work.
Thanks again for the great write up,
Mat A.
Not a problem Mat and I hope things are going well on your end.
