What in the world is AWOL Academy and will it actually work or is it just another scam trying to take your hard earned money?

There are so many simple questions that require simple answers and that is what you will get from this AWOL Academy review.

Whether you think this is a scam or not, I’m sure you’ll find everything in this post to be helpful, regardless of what you already had in mind about this program.

The biggest question I had going into this review is that if in fact there was real value within this product even if it has all the features of yet another 100% commission based product that has you recruit others in order to make money.

Going into things with an open mind, I had to at least see what their first level is about before I can give a so called review, since it already starts you off at such a high price.

Will this be a “buy this product to promote the product” type of deal or does AWOL Academy actually offer a legitimate training that will show you how to make money online?

Product Overview

First of all, AWOL stands for “Another Way of Life” and is not the type of AWOL that happens in the military when you decide to abandon ship.

Now AWOL Academy is an online marketing training platform that teaches you how to become a better online marketer using their training, tools and strategies.

It was created by Kaela Kanae and Kameron George back when they were with a company called the Empower Network, which is now shutdown and might still owe some people money.

With several courses and a not so cheap startup cost, AWOL Academy definitely requires some thought as well as some knowledge before joining, which I will be providing in this review.

A Little History

AWOL Academy is considered a high ticket product just like the Empower Network and they all got their start from a program called My Lead System Pro, which I think is in a class of its own.

Initially, AWOL Academy was a product within the Empower Network but has evolved into what we have now and has no ties with that company.

Too many people try to reinvent the wheel, but I think that MLSP is by far the best one out there, and can vouch for that because, well, I was apart of every single one of these programs.

I know exactly how they all operate and although they might be similar, there are several aspects of their business models that make them different from one another, especially their policies on reselling.

You can checkout my MLSP review here and you’ll see how you don’t need to spend thousands of dollars to make thousands of dollars as I disagree with that type of stuff.

However, they all offer the same type of marketing training and tools, as well as the chance to make commissions by promoting their programs, which in most cases is what they really want to happen.

Who This is For

AWOL Academy is great for anyone who has money and is looking for training and/or coaching to becoming really good at online marketing.

If you’re looking for a way to make money online, you might want to go with something like the Wealthy Affiliate, as this offers more of a personal development course for more experienced marketers rather than a basic introduction to something like affiliate marketing.

With their affiliate program, this is also great for someone looking to make higher commissions with their business as they do give you the chance to make money by promoting their products.

So if you’re willing to pay for ALL the courses they offer so you can make more money, AWOL Academy will definitely help you there.

The Training

There are 5 courses that cater to every level of expertise as an online marketer, with most of the training focused on building out a sales funnel and equipping it with their tools that you will be using for your actual business.

For the most part, if you don’t have a business, you can use AWOL Academy as your business and be able to promote it and make commissions from others who join through your site.

Pro Academy

This is the very first membership of AWOL Academy and is geared towards setting up a sales funnel so you can get customers to your network marketing business or any other business for that matter.

You get an actual website, some lead capture pages, and some email marketing campaigns that you can use for your business.

Inbox Academy

Building an email list is a very simple concept but as a newbie, things can be very, very difficult.

Inbox Academy focuses on teaching you how to get your leads to open up the emails you send them, as well as have them click on the links within that email.

If managing and converting sales from your email list is of interest to you, this is the course you need.

Conversion Academy

Pretty self explanatory, this training will teach you how to get into “story telling” type language to turn your traffic into sales.

You will learn how to create prospects into sales by pretty much using the tactics that are used by a salesman causing these prospects to take action.

Simple, yet very pricey.

Traffic Academy

This is the lifeline for any online business and this is what we all need as marketers.

From getting traffic through blogging as well as paid methods through social media, this product teaches you to do exactly that.

Again, this is not some $49 product so be expecting to spend just to learn how to get traffic to your business, even if I think this should come before email marketing or converting anything into sales as I believe that you need traffic before you can do anything else.

Hmmm….

Masters Academy

Finally, we have the final product offered within AWOL Academy and this is also the highest costing of the bunch.

More of a way for you as an affiliate to make crazy commissions, this course is veered towards investing and other aspects to help grow your business.

Not a fan of these types of products as they are really designed to make the thousands of dollars that some of its members go out there promoting but not really worth it in my opinion.

Tools

Every online marketer needs tools and that is what AWOL Academy has, but the problem with these tools is that they are an added expense on top of what you are already paying.

So yes you will learn how to setup landing pages and email marketing campaigns but do know that you will have to pay extra to use these tools outside of AWOL Academy.

Using landing pages can be a challenge, especially if you are new to the world of making money online but there is some step by step training on how to get that all setup.

To get started with AWOL Academy, it is going to cost you $99 and there’s no working around that either as there is no free or paid trial here.

However, you do get a 14 day 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied, so I guess you can call that some type of “test-drive” but it’s not going to be cheap.

Not the cheapest of products and I don’t think you need to spend that much money to be a professional online marketer, but it is what it is.

You also get a “coaching” session, which is designed to help you understand where you’re at in your business and what they recommend you need to do to get to where you want to be.

So is AWOL Academy a Scam?

This is definitely not a scam so please disregard any negative reviews you might have come across as this is 100% legit.

Their marketing might not sit well with others as we all know that they want you to promote their products but that does not make this a scam.

With the fact that they have products (and decent ones at that), you can’t say anything bad about what these guys have created.

It’s definitely not my #1 recommended work from home program but if you haven’t learned the basics of even understanding who your target market is, you need to get with the program.

Final Verdict: Legit

AWOL Academy is a legitimate program and one that you should consider if you are looking for some tools to grow your business or if you need to develop the mentality to make it in the online world as a marketer.

Not the cheapest of products but I’m sure you can see the value that this program has to offer.

Even if you’re already an established online marketer, AWOL Academy will give you a little bump to point you in the right direction, but I’m sure you can give the class on email marketing and the other high end products offered on their site.

I give AWOL Academy two thumbs up and something you should consider if you need “a system” or you are looking to learn more about funnels and all that good stuff.

My Recommendation

I like the training with this program but having to purchase something just to resell it is not cool in my book.

Of course it will help someone promoting this product make higher commissions but I still think it is unnecessary and the biggest problem I have with this program and others like it.

There are programs like My Lead System Pro that offers a lot better training and tools that you don’t have to pay for, along with the chance to make higher commissions, WITHOUT HAVING TO PURCHASE THE PRODUCT TO SELL IT.

So if you are looking to learn how to make money online, get some solid online marketing training, and pretty much have all the tools you need to build, grow, and maintain an online business, then that is what I recommend you go with.
