As online marketers and bloggers, traffic is a must or business will not go anywhere. Learning how to get that traffic is another must or you, well, won’t get any traffic.
All that means is you won’t get any visitors and ultimately, you won’t make any sales. I don’t know about you, but most of us don’t blog for free, so if that’s what you do, then more power to you.
Today I want to share my thoughts on traffic and most especially the organic side of things, which is nothing more than getting free traffic from the search engines by popping out unique, quality content for the online world to see.
It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than Free
What better way to get people to your site than through a free avenue. There are other ways to do this, but without a budget it isn’t going to happen.
Thanks to Google and Bing, there is a totally organic way to get this traffic and it isn’t going to cost you a dime.
However, it is going to require you to put in some time, just to acquire this traffic. Once that is done, the rest is history.
There are a ton of benefits when it comes to organic traffic, but I want to share some of the major points when it comes to getting this specific type.
Super Targeted Traffic
People are looking for specific information and don’t plan on looking all over the place for it either. Thanks to you (the blogger), they can get all the information on their first try.
With the competition being so steep with PPC, there is no better way to get that top spot than with a nice little blog post.
Even if you were to setup a campaign for Pay Per Click, you will still have to create the content to get that ad approved.
It Will Last You Forever
Okay, I think that is a little extreme, but you know what I mean. Once you get ranked for a specific keyword, you can hold that spot for a very long time and in most cases, forever.
With Google constantly changing and having us adapt to these changes, it’s almost impossible to keep a ranking forever. But if you’re ranked for some nice little low hanging fruit, you will have no problem keeping that rank for a very long time.
Who Pays You Forever, Just For Writing?
I don’t know about you, but blogging has got to be one of the funnest jobs out there. To top things off, it pays very generously!
Who do you know makes $20,000/month just for talking about things that interest them? Not even most doctors make that much money and their jobs are a lot harder than blogging.
There are too many people out there that don’t know the potential that one blog can do for someone, simply because it is not thrown out there like these scams are.
Thank You Scams
There are literally thousands of make money online scams out there that it really ruins it for most people that are actually trying to make money on the internet.
Then you have the other half who are looking for the easy way out and don’t want to put in the effort that it takes to make money online.
For those of you that are looking to make money blogging, more power to you. For those of you that are falling for these push button scams, I think it’s time you stop being gullible and create yourself a blog that makes money.
I have fallen for scams too many times and I have come to the conclusion that there is no easy way out of this. I mean, if blogging is that hard, then you might want to keep your day job.
What I Suggest
Forget about the money. That was my problem, and I know it is the biggest problem most online marketers/bloggers face.
Focus more on helping people and the money will come. If you don’t understand the concept completely, you need to get better training on what it takes to make money online as a blogger.
Knowing how to market your blog is only half the battle and if you don’t know that much, you are not going to win. Click here to see what program I recommend to anyone trying to start a blog.
If you are still trying to make a penny online, you need to take that course, follow what is being taught, and apply yourself. Then when you start making money, you can thank me later.
