I can’t even tell you how many cryptocurrencies are out there because there are just way too many. The sad part is that they all come in the form of a multilevel marketing pyramid type scheme.
Just like any MLM out there, you will have its members go out there and tell you how great it is and how you need to join because of this and because of that.
I could take out “Crypto 888” and give you the same speech as I would if I were to sell you a dirty diaper. Call me a hater, but here is my review on Crypto 888.
Like it or not, I am going to give you the cold hard facts about this and ultimately my opinion on yet another controversial type of “business”.
What is Crypto 888?
Just like I mentioned earlier, it is nothing more than a multilevel marketing business that is trying to capitalize on the digital currency world, because of what Bitcoin did a couple of years ago.
Like every other MLM, it is built off of hype and in this case, they are using Bitcoin. Then it gets into the whole “if Bill signs Joe, and Joe signs Jill, type of stuff, which is no different than the diluted detergent that people used to sell back in the day.
Who This is For
Anyone interested in network marketing. If it weren’t for affiliate marketing, I would probably still be trying to push out an MLM because I really thought that was the only way to make money from home.
Being that I was wrong, I don’t have to look at compensation plans, products, or doing any type of crazy recruiting to run a “business”.
If you are interested in that type of stuff, then Crypto 888 might be for you. All I know is that affiliate marketing will always beat MLM.
The Product
There is no actual product that comes with this. To make things worse, there are more and more sites like this popping up all over the place and I am actually kinda tired of it.
The only thing that you will get to market if you become a member of Crypto 888 is a membership. Yeah you will use the cryptocurrency to use as your sales pitch, but that is about it.
There is some training and support offered with this, but we all know that this is for one thing and one thing only. To promote Crypto 888.
The Compensation Plan
I once was a big fan of this, but I have learned more than the average bear and this is not what makes my decision on what company to join these days.
As a matter of fact, I don’t ever seeing myself join any of these. Not because I can’t make money with it, but because I can’t see myself recruiting a bunch of people knowing that over 90% of them won’t make any money.
I am also not going to sit here and talk to you about how much you will make if you get 3 to sign 3 and they get 3, because they are all the same.
Some companies may claim to have the best compensation plan out there, but what would that matter if you didn’t get anyone to signup under you?
The Price
It is actually free to join Crypto 888. But we all know that there is no free ride if you want to make money with their compensation plans and all that nonsense.
There are different levels in which you can join/purchase in. Each of course comes with a different price as well as a different earning potential.
- Starter – €150
- Trainee – €550
- Basic – €1050
- Premium – €3050
- Pro – €5050
- VIP – €10,000
For the most part, you will get the idea that you are investing into the cryptocurrency when it is really what is going to pay your up-line.
Crypto 888 Complaints
There most you will hear in regards to anything bad will be the fact that people are not making money.
For anyone getting started with MLM, the site is very confusing.
You will also find so much confusion as to who owns the company and where they are based out of.
There are also complaints about the physical currency that is used. You will have to convert EURO into dollars, if you want to get it in USD.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Can make you money
- Decent compensation plan
Cons:
- Main focus is recruiting
- Is a pyramid style business
- No tangible product
- Over 95% won’t make money
Final Opinion of Crypto 888
I was apart of another Cryptocurrency called UFUN and this is no different. Put together a bunch of hype videos and you have something to sell people.
Without that, you really have nothing but “digital currency”.
One thing I don’t get is how everyone claims that this “digital currency” is going to take over cash, when they require you to purchase these. Can someone please explain that nonsense to me?
What we got here is a company trying to ride the cryptocurrency wave that Bitcoin created and now they are trying to use it to its advantage with some multilevel marketing gig.
This is just one of many, and I don’t see this being any different that what I have seen so far. Give into the hype and you’ll find yourself doing exactly what the person did to get you to see this.

It is very rare that I promote any MLM even if I am apart of them simply because it is not for everyone. The fact is that over 95% of its members will not make any money.
With that fact alone, would you recommend it? Any member would recommend this and that is because the only way for them to make money is if someone signs up under them. Is that even a real business?
What I Really Think
I think I have had my share of MLMs and it is really hard to find one with the right ingredients. With every single one of them fueled by recruiting, I think I’m gonna have to pass.
If I didn’t learn how to create my own online business, I would probably be out there trying to promote some kind of fancy facial cream and not some cryptocurrency that is trying to use the hype of Bitcoin to fuel its “business”.
Honestly, I would rather have you promote Amway or something, before I recommend you promote some type of intangible product.
In the end, it is really up to you. I think I have given you more than enough information about this, for you to make and educated decision.
Thanks for reading my review of Crypto 888. Whether you are a member or not, I would love to hear your thoughts on this. I’m thick skinned, so bring it on!

All This 401K Talk Is Annoying – There Has To Be Another Way
That’s weird. I never recruited anyone. And yet I made money.
I got out a few months ago when the coin was approximately €5 as I needed the money for personal reasons (trouble with a relative’s health). The coin was almost €2 when I got in. Indirectly, I was able to prove to people that you did make money even if you didn’t recruit. Most of my friends stayed because they want to cash out once the value of the coin was higher.
So are you still a member John?
How do you know that this is a scam? I am currently a member, and I tested the cryto888. I have a Master Card to which you upload weekly profit. The company allows you to turn octacoin into money and you cann deposit in the bank account or on master card. Of course it is a kind of pyramid where you profit from the members who are below you (marketing opportunitie). If you on the bottom you still get profit. After half a year if it at the bottom of the pyramid you still have high earnings. Have u test this side,or why do you think it is a scam? Personally, I did not check The Wealthy Affiliate Review so i
cann not say if it good or bad opportunities. Could you please explain way do you think this is a scam or is it just your opinion?
I didn’t say it was a scam my friend, but I did layout everything that it is. The word “scam” is a very strong word and I will only use that if I know for sure these people are trying to take your money.
In this case, it is nothing more than a company trying to capitalize on the hype that Bitcoin brought, over 5 years ago. This is a multilevel marketing business, with recruiting as its main focus. That’s about it.
It is a scam run by a bunch of Norwegian con artists praying on mostly Asian people, unfortunate
Yeah that’s usually where it starts anyways Marcel. What sucks is that everyone wants to be “rich” and they think it’s going to happen because of all the hype that Bitcoin brought when it shot to the top. These days, everyone is just hoping and wishing that they make some type of money. No one but the owners win here.
You’re absolutely right Marcel. .they wooed investors with attract weekly returns for barely 4mths and then it’s all gone quiet and nothing is happening now and victims are mostly from China.
Bloody scammers.
Attractive returns I meant ***
How is the status now? Are you still making money?
