Why Quitting Your Job Needs More Than Just A Plan

Last Updated: August 30, 2018 //  by John

how-to-quit-your-job

I think most of us don’t actually like our jobs and some of us would do some crazy things, just so that they can do something they actually enjoyed.

Unlike most people, the pay wasn’t so much the issue, but spending more time with my kids was. So if I was going to deal with a job that I barely enjoyed for the rest of my life, it better pay me enough to do what I want, especially if it took me away from my kids for more than half the day.

Is it Worth Giving Your Boss the Bird?

It’s kind of weird, but most people I know really don’t like their bosses. Some complain to me day after day about how much they hate their boss and how they wish they would just…

I’m not going to finish that off, but you get what I’m trying to say.

Before you decide to jump into something else, you might want to think about a couple of things before you turn in that two week notice. You don’t want to burn any bridges, especially if it is not necessary.

Some of you should consider yourself lucky, because you have the option to just quit. I was in the Army for a couple of years, and there was no way I was going to tell my boss that I didn’t want to work there anymore.

So being that you have the choice, you need to think about a couple of things before you start clearing out your office.

Have a Plan

Don’t be like me. I can’t say I was young and that’s the reason I did what I did, but I made one of the craziest (if not the craziest) moves in my life.

I sat there one day, and decided that I wanted to make a change. I wanted more out of life than living paycheck to paycheck. I knew there was a way.

Sorry if I made it seem like it was going to be some kind of success story right off the bat because it really wasn’t.

I didn’t have a plan, and I didn’t have something to go to after I quit. All I had in my head, was that I wasn’t going to get anywhere in life If I stayed at this so called job.

Did everything work out in my favor? Absolutely not! As a matter of fact, I fell behind on bills (big time) and I went through some of the toughest times in my life.

I was deployed twice while I was in the service and none of that compared to the stress that I had after I quit my job. I hit rock bottom.

In the end guys, make sure you have a plan and DO NOT quit unless you have something that can take care of things in the meantime.

Is it worth it?

For some people, enjoying what you do means more than the pay. Just because you can sacrifice a couple of dollars, doesn’t mean it can be worth the trade.

I don’t care how much you can’t stand your boss or the work you do, you need to weigh a couple of things before you start putting things in your little box.

Is your next job going to be able to pay what you currently have on your plate or is your car going to be next in line for Repo Games?

Have You Weighed Your Options?

Sometimes you might act on impulse and think that this next gig is the job for you, but have you really sat down and figured out if this is REALLY what you want to do?

I don’t know about you guys, but my story is always different than most and that is totally fine with me. I actually quit my job and took on something that anyone normal would think I’m crazy.

I seriously quit my good old j-o-b, just so that I can focus on doing business online. Again, unlike most, I decided to buy a bar (not focus on my ultimate goal) and that is exactly what caused me to go through the pain and frustration I went through.

Did I weigh my options? Nope. Would I change the way I did things? Not at all.

Although things didn’t go as planned (even if I didn’t have a plan), I can look back now and all I can say is, wow!

Always see which “opportunity” is best for you, before you make a decision you might regret.

Finding the Right Opportunity

Most people don’t know about the opportunities that the world has to offer, simply because most of the traditional lives we live.

Graduate from school, get a job, or go to college. In my family, it’s graduate from high school or join the military.

Trust me, I had to deal with my mom and her “old school” ways. Being that I am a full-time online marketer, I would never hear the end of it.

“That’s not a real job”. “You’ll never make any money on that computer”. “Everything online is a scam”. Blah blah blah! All that did for me was push me to make this whole “make money online” thing work.

Believe me guys, I have ran into so many scams online, it’s not even funny. I literally dumped thousands of dollars into other people’s bank accounts. Never again.

What is it That You Really Want to do?

Alright, here’s the deal. I’m not looking for someone who is just flat out lazy, but someone that is really interested in doing something that they might not only enjoy, but it can make some life changing income, all from something you enjoy doing.

The best part about this, is that you work whenever you want to and you literally dictate how much money you want to make.

Unlike doing what I did, I want you to try this program, which is completely free to get started, and you tell me if this will work or not. Deal?

Another thing, is that I will be there to help you along the way, so if I can’t help you make money from home, then you might want to keep your day job.

Picture Yourself 5 Years From Now

the-future

Where do you think you’ll be then? For about 99% of you, you will still be at that same job (that you don’t like) and you will most likely be there for the rest of your working life.

Okay, now imagine if you did what I told you to do, and you worked at the minimum requirement to see results, with your business doing nothing but growing. You would seriously be rich!

Don’t find yourself kicking yourself on your behind if you look back 5 years from now and wished you had listened to me, you’ll regret it. Big time.

But, it Doesn’t Take That Long

The beauty of all of this, is that it is not going to take 5 years to make any money, but in a normal world, 5 years is a short time. In the life I am about to show you, that 5 years can make you some life changing income, so don’t let this pass you by.

Let’s just say that I have been doing this business for a little less than a year, and I am making more than my old job. I have yet to hit a year and I’m already picturing what 2 years would look like. Can you imagine 5? Click here to see the same program that taught me everything I know about making money online.

I hope you have learned something from this article and most especially from my mistakes. Don’t do what I did, and do what I’m telling you, or you’ll end up missing the boat. You literally dictate where you want your life to go, so make something happen!
