I am a member of Fiverr.com and boy do I spend a lot of money on there.
Today I want to show you the best way people are making money on this site and how you can do the same.
Let me just tell you that I make $0 on Fiverr and all I do is spend.
In fact, I have never done any type of service on the site, trying to make money.
However, I’m always on the paying end, and from something that started off as some $5 project, ended up costing me over $20.
In case you didn’t know this, there are ways to earn more money with Fiverr than just settling for the 5 bucks that you are initially offered for your service.
You Can Make Money on Fiverr.com Doing Almost Anything
Whether it’s showing someone how to speak a new language or choosing the best hair color for them, there are so many crazy things on there that I know you can do.
Can you create a header for someone’s website?
Can you help someone choose the right makeup?
Can you come up with a diet plan for someone else?
Again, there are many things that you can do to help other people and although some may sound absolutely ridiculous, people are looking for people to do this for them.
So What is the Best Way to Make Money on Fiverr?
There is no actual “best” way to do things, but there are different things you can do to make more money.
With majority of the tasks taking only a few minutes to complete, a simple multiplication would do the trick.
Unless of course you can’t handle it.
Increase the Work Load
If you can get more clients in just one day, you can be some type of Fiverr king (or queen).
Imagine having 10 tasks a day, which only took you 10 minutes to complete each one.
That would be $50 a day right?
That may not sound like much, but if you do that for a whole week straight, that would be $350.
Remember now, this is all done from home (or work) and for a part-time job, that is not too bad if you ask me.
Did I mention that all of this was done in under two hours?
You pretty much just made $50/hour doing something you actually liked.
Get more clients and you can almost give your boss the bird.
Would You Like Fries With That?
Up-sells are great in the world of business.
Create a nice little up-sell.
Start them off with the usual $5 offer and then have other services or ways to get more than just that.
“I can also do ______, for another $5”
In the Fiverr market, it is too easy to get people to upgrade and buy more things from you, simply because the $5 price point is affordable to anyone.
“Want to Get Your Work Faster?”
Tag on another $5 and I’ll get it to you within 24 hours.
“Want to get bumped up in front of the line?”
Pay me $20 and you’ll jump to the front of the waiting list.
Do you see how things can slowly become very profitable?
Get Better Rankings
If you plan to get more customers and make more money with Fiverr, you are going to have to create some type of reputation.
Producing quality work would be your starting point.
If you are going to give a mediocre product, expect people to give you a low rating and ultimately not come back.
Give them the best stuff and you’ll get repeat customers that will wait in line just for you to do these tasks for them.
Always be consistent.
Don’t make promises that you can’t keep.
If you can’t get the work done in 24 hours, then don’t make a promise.
When you get tasks, respond to your customers right away.
What do you want?
How fast do you need it?
There’s nothing worse than getting a reply days later, even if you have the best work out there.
People don’t have time to wait around for you.
Don’t keep up with things and you can expect your ranking to go down the drain.
Always ask for Feedback
When you have completed your work, ask your customers how they liked your work.
ALWAYS ask them to give you a good rating because this will have your profile up at the top, unlike those that aren’t ever seen due to their poor quality of work.
Don’t be like some of these people on there that give me some poor quality work and then ask me to leave them a good review.
It doesn’t work that way, my friend.
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME)
There are literally hundreds upon hundreds of people on there that really do suck at what they are trying to do.
Don’t be them.
Trust me, you know that you are creating quality stuff if it is quality stuff.
If you just mashed up some junk just to get something to your client, it probably is nothing but garbage.
Then, you lose rankings and you don’t get recommended.
Too Easy, Right?
Not bad for someone that has never made any money on Fiverr huh?
If I wasn’t running my own online business, I’d probably be trying to sell some type of service on this site.
Just saying.
That’s not the case, so maybe you need to get on this one.
I hope these little tips can help you make more money on Fiverr and hopefully you are out there trying to produce some quality work.
