Surveys Paid Review – You Pay Them To Take Surveys

September 4, 2015 //  by Amanda Dempsey

Price: $34

Overall Rating: SCAM!

Let me ask you a question. Would you like to get paid to answer questions? What if I paid you $5 for every question you answered? What if I paid more? Even at $5 a pop, you’d be $15 richer right now, wouldn’t you? (better make that $20)

But, alas, life is not so simple. Everyone would like a little extra cash nowadays, and, sadly, sites such as Surveys Paid tend to prey on such people. After all, money just for answering a question sounds like a pretty sweet deal, right? ($25! Okay, I’ll stop)

The Empty Promise

The premise here is fairly simple and it’s one I am certain you have likely heard a few times before if you have done any amount of searching for work at home jobs. As it turns out, there are hundreds of businesses are just dying to find out what the average consumer thinks about their products and/or services and by gum, they are willing to pay top dollar to find out what you (yes you!) have to say and what you think.

Now, on paper, this does sound like a legit and potentially profitable deal, but look at the facts.

Would a multi-million dollar company REALLY pay joe-shmoe thousands a month to find out what they think? Or, is it more feasible they would pay Johnny McBuysalot, the local professional shopper to tell them the best way to advertise.

If you’d like a hint, it’s probably NOT the first one.

The reality is, most major companies do in fact employ sometimes a whole host of professionally trained individuals for that exact purpose. Your thoughts and feelings may matter to them, but not to the thousands of dollars a month extent. Do not…do NOT let sites like this fool you into thinking anything less.

But What Do they Do/Not Do?

Now, some of the promises they make do sound tempting. You can work from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. You’d get paid instantly, just for answering questions. There are no deadlines, no bosses, no stress…sure sounds tempting! But, sadly, everything is not what it seems.

What sounds like candy from a baby in reality is more like trying to pry thorns from a rose bush with your bare teeth. What they say is not always what they do…and what they do is not always what they say.

Taking a few moments, the site itself makes it seem simple enough, but upon further research, it is clear that they are not entirely on the up and up.

What they are offering is to connect you to hundreds of companies who are looking for your input. What they are NOT telling you is that the criteria in which to really go full time and make any actual amount of money on said surveys is down right ridiculous. As it turns out, the requisites to take most of the surveys are so detailed and specific that nearly no one ever would qualify.

So, unless you have 3 heads, purple skin, only 3 teeth, and worked in Alaska between the years of 1920 and 1953, you will not be able to earn money on most of the surveys they offer.

Okay, so, maybe I made that description up, but, if you want to waist $34 to find out I’m only exaggerating just slightly, by all means, be my guest.

Also, I hope you don’t mind your sensitive information not being secure because security is not exactly a priority on their list. If you do sign up, be prepared for tons and tons of junk mail.

May as well just set the spam filter to flame and sit back and roast some smores because your email is going just about everywhere.

The Price

I don’t get how something that “pays” you to take survey would need to cost you any money. Don’t get me wrong, there are ways to get paid taking surveys, but you definitely won’t need to pay anything, but you can also expect your return to be, well, pretty much nothing.

If you want to get involved with this nonsense, it is going to cost you $34. For those of you that are desperate, you will probably give in, but for those of you that are skeptical, more power to you.

If you still don’t believe me, please refer to the terms and conditions, so that you can see how people are able to promote products that don’t even work.

Without this, they would be a scam. So if you ever question the legitimacy of any of these schemes, please do read the terms and conditions. And please don’t let their little income calculator fool you either.

Why Anyone Would Promote This

Because they make money of course. Money will make people do a lot of things, and making you signup to a program that doesn’t work is one of them.

If there would be any complaints about this review, it will come from the people that are trying to make money by getting you to join Surveys Paid.

If I was to get you to pay the $34 it takes to “make money” here, I can make a whopping 75% of that! Rather than doing that and making a nice chunk of change, I do have a reputation to protect.

I will not tell you to do something that I know won’t work, even if I was able to make money from it. I love making money selling other people’s products, but not with stuff like this.

So What Should I do?

If you REALLY want a decent work from home job that is not just about making a buck, try something along the lines of Wealthy Affiliate. Otherwise, you are just tossing money into a virtual shredder.

There is no way you are actually going to be making money by answering a few questions online. At least not the amount that most of these get paid to take survey sites claim.

I know, it tears me up inside too, but, that is the truth of the matter. Sites like these do nothing more than make false promises and give people false hope and set their mind a blaze with the possibility of making millions by doing nothing.

If you want to make a million dollars overnight, you are going to have to get lucky and win the lotto.

Otherwise, find yourself a reputable site (click here to see our #1 recommendation), put in some actual work, and be thankful there are actual ways to making a living from your living room.
