I am going to whip up a quick review here, because there’s not much to say about the Start Survey scam. There is just so much fuss around this nonsense and there are too many people wasting they’re time on this too good to be true nonsense.
Nutshell Review
Scam, that will not pay. Can’t really call it a scam because they don’t take any money from you, but there is more to this scheme than just doing surveys and “making money” that you need to know about.
What is Start Survey?
I don’t care if you go to start-survey.com or start-surveys.com, they are both directed to the same site. The site claims to always be free, well because, there is no real money being circulated that’s why.
The claim is that you can make money by taking surveys and/or referring people to their site. It is completely free to join and doesn’t require a credit card.
Getting Started
When you get registered with Start Survey it will automatically redirect you to rankquiz.com. This my friend, is another program that’s designed the same exact way and will take nothing but your time, letting you think that you’re making a lot of money.
From the look of all these pay to click and pay to read scams, they are probably ran by the same owners. They all look the same, with the only thing different being the names.
I mean come on, start-survey and start-surveys ? Same exact layout and the same statistics, with the only difference being the domain name.
The Surveys
Everyone and their mothers are getting excited because of the site’s claim to pay you $14 for every survey you complete. I have never seen a survey taking site pay over $5 per survey and most of them are nothing but a waste of time.
The surveys literally take you under a minute to complete and the money shows up in your account immediately. Then you go and fill out more, so of course you can make more, with the limit being 3 per day.
Then Comes the Referral Program
Here comes more hype. Get $15 for every person you bring into Start Survey! $15? Are you serious? Well, just like everyone else, I figured I had nothing to lose, whether I get paid or not.
On top of the $15, you get 20% of your referral’s earnings, so you’ll definitely see this type of stuff scattered all over Facebook.
The Price – Free!
For something free, it’s almost impossible not to at least give it a try. Here’s the deal though. You can’t cash out any money until you reach $500, even if they pay out every 2 weeks. I think that’s a bit much, if you ask me.
Reach the minimum threshold and then you can go about your way, $500 richer. Imagine if just 50 people reached $500. That would mean that Start Survey is paying out $25,000. Get outta here!
Here’s where everyone ends up playing the waiting game. Being that it’s so easy to promote and make money taking surveys, it’s kind of easy to hit the $500 mark.

It’s kind of hard to call scam on this because they’re not taking any money from you. However, they ask you for your Paypal ID and that’s where I start to question things.
Final Verdict
Be careful with the password that you use for your so called free account and make sure it doesn’t match anything else that you do online.
With no owner in site and a bunch of the same sites that are built exactly the same way, you really need to be careful with stuff like this.
If you haven’t keyed in your Paypal ID, save yourself and just skip this scheme. Site Survey Will not pay you and you are wasting your time.
