Name: Project Breakthrough – High Traffic Academy
Owners: Jason McClain & Vick Strizheus
Website: www.projectbreakthrough.com
Price: “Free”
Overall Rating: 1/5 stars
No matter what program I review, I try to see the good in everything, no matter what. These guys don’t have the most trusted names on the internet, so you might want to read this to the end.
You were probably confused about what program you were really on and so was I, . I thought I was on Project Breakthrough, but now I’m in Traffic Academy. What in the world is going on?
They are all the same thing and they are run by the same people and in order to get to High Traffic Academy, you need to go through Project Breakthrough.
The owners of this program already can’t be trusted and I would never recommend anyone with a bad record. If you are just starting out online, you need to use programs like the Wealthy Affiliate, or you’ll find yourself hopping from one “opportunity” to the next.
Been there, done that. I’ve thrown away thousands of dollars, just to come up empty handed and I don’t think you want to go down that same path.
So What is Project Breakthrough?
This is a program created by Jason McClain and Vick Strizheus. They don’t have a very good history in the online world or even offline as Vick avoided going to jail over some insurance fraud.
Vick was apart of one of the first scams I encountered called the Empower Network and that my friend would be the next red flag about this product.
Just like that program, these guys try to use the whole “high ticket” model and sell products that cost thousands of dollars to make a big commission for just one sale.
Want to Make Money in 14 Days Flat?
They have a very insane claim of making you your first commission in 14 days flat, which is very unlikely in most make money from home programs.
The first thing that really turned me off about this was how they mentioned that they are giving everything to you for free.
When someone tells you that something is free, that means you don’t have to pay a single penny, right? That’s not so much the case here, so that my friend is strike one.
Getting Started
So of course you signed up for the free stuff. Then you got redirected to the “VIP Insider” which allows you to get notifications about the program through your mobile device.
This is the first tim I’ve seen something like this and I don’t think there’s really a need for anyone to know my phone number unless I actually know them.
I didn’t opt-in for that stuff, so I can’t really tell you about what information they send you if you are their so called VIP list.
Once you’re done with that page, you will then begin your 14 day course. You have to finish every single course before you can move on to the next lessons.
The Product
There are a bunch of lessons on how money is made online and all that leads you to their main product, which is High Traffic Academy.
So after all the “free stuff”, you were probably motivated by all the hype and you probably gained enough trust to at least consider their next product.
This is where the not so free items come into play. We’re talking up-sell after up-sell and it is not going to be your normal $37 scam type cost either.
The Price
Here’s where things start to get out of control. Just like I figured, this whole thing was too good to be true and there was no way that they were going to show you how to make money for free either.
Did you really think that you were going to learn how to make money for free? So much for making money in 14 days and so much for not paying any money.
Once you get to their main objective (High Traffic Academy) you will start coughing out money if you do accept to continue.
First you have the monthly fee, which is going to cost you $297 every single month. If you are going to pay that much money, I hope you are making $2,900 in return. At the very least.
Among this crazy monthly cost, here is what else these scammers have to offer.
- Affiliate Marketing 101 – $297/year
- Content Marketing 101 – $297/year
- Data Secrets – $1997/year
- Email Marketing 101 – $297/year
- Facebook Marketing – $397/year
- PPC Mastery – $497/year
- SEO Traffic – $297/year
Whew! Do you think you can afford all of this? I gotta admit, when I first started online, I used to think that if I was going to pay this much money for something, then there’s no way that it can’t work.
Forget that! I fell for so many programs like this and in the end, it is only making one person rich. I’ll give you one clue…
It’s not you!
You do not need to spend thousands of dollars to make money online. Build your own business and you can start making thousands of dollars. Not spending it.

How This Really Works
I’m very familiar with high ticket items as I was apart of a few in my early days as an online marketer. And yes, the Empower Network just so happens to be one of them.
When you get started with this, everything will be directed towards one thing and that my friend would be to promote the same exact nonsense that you just purchased.
Rather than teaching you how to sell other people’s products, you are going to learn how to promote The High Traffic Academy. Not cool.
Once a Scammer Always a Scammer
When it comes to making money online, you really need to be careful with what and who you associate yourself with as you might be in for a nice little brain washing session.
These guys are no newbie to the online marketing world and they have created this product to do just that. Scam you.
Let you do all the dirty work while they rake in the money.
So is High Traffic Academy a Scam?
Absolutely! I really tried to give these guys the benefit of a doubt even with their history of bad encounters with the law, but they have proven me wrong.
Don’t let the pretty website fool you or the fancy little videos because these guys are in this for themselves and that is it.
From the fake rented cars to the rented houses, these guys are definitely great at marketing but not so much at producing legitimate ways for others to make money online.

I tried to get the best out of this, but there is really no value for you here and you will only be contributing to the owner’s bank accounts. Stay away from this one at all costs.
What I Really Think
This is a big fat no go. This is not going to solve your financial problems and it is not going to make you your first dollar online either.
I actually thought that this would be a decent product, but with further research this whole thing is nothing but a scam trying to take your money and have you recruit more people to the scheme.
We all want to make money online and we all want to work from home, but with products like this you will find yourself looking for the latest and greatest way to make money online.
If you are looking to make money online you definitely need to checkout my #1 recommendation. Just like anything else in life, you will need to work at it, but the results are like no other.
Thanks for reading my review of Project Breakthrough and hopefully I have given you more than enough information about this scam to give you a better understanding.
Another too good to be true scam, what do you think?
