What Is pawTree?

There are a lot of options out there in the world of pet care products and this is particularly true when you dip into the waters of MLM.

The company, which launched in the year 2014, is headed by CEO Roger Morgan who has been in the world of pet retail supplies for over a decade.

Right away, we have a couple of positives to take from this information.

The first is the age of the company.

While four years is still certainly not extremely substantial, it is also infinitely safer than starting up with a company that is in its infancy.

With four years on the market there are a couple of things that you can trust: one, that they are probably operating legitimately, and two, that there are people out there that like what they are selling.

It’s also nice to see that the CEO comes from the realm in which he is currently operating.

While there is no guarantee that leadership of any company is particularly competent, potential affiliates may rightly feel comfortable joining up with a company that is headed by someone who knows the industry.

Are these reasons to start up with PawTree?

No, they certainly are not, but they are also indicative of a decent business prospect just like Nevetica, another pet related MLM.

As is true with just about every MLM out there, you don’t have to apply to land a job at PawTree.

Joining is based mostly on paying an entry fee.

In this case, the entry fees are tiered, with different options correlating with different starting packages.

The most basic entry package buys you a small quantity of product, as well as a little bit of information pertaining to getting started as a PawTree affiliate.

The most expensive package, perhaps aptly titled the “ultimate starter package,” comes in at $299, but also comes with the most product.

For the most part this is a pretty standard rate for getting started with an MLM.

Most companies range from between $29.99-200, which means that regardless of which entry package you select you are more or less going to be staying within industry standards.

There are pros and cons to each package.

Bigger packages give you the opportunity to hit the ground running, but they also come with a higher overhead that you will need to overcome before you start making a profit.

On the other hand, smaller packages are going to have a much smaller overhead, but they also give you very little to start out with.

Ultimately, you will have to decide which package to go with based on your budget, as well as your ultimate goals for your time with the MLM.

Ultimately, like the company’s background, getting started with the company also looks pretty good, but of course none of this will mean anything at all if the products are not good, right?

For the most part these products seem to be pretty standard.

On the one hand, you aren’t going to have to convince people to spend a bunch of money on a product they did not previously even know to have existed, which is what many MLMs force you to do.

On the other hand, it may be easier for potential customers to simply pick up similar things at the store than to buy them from you.

Still, their product line does have a top of the line, vet approved niche vibe to it that people who want the very best of the best for their cat or dog might really appreciate.

Then again, every MLM company uses Science a lot of the time but there is really no proof that this works as claimed.

There is also just a lot of enthusiasm out there for pet supplies in general when you sell to the right people.

If you yourself are a pet owner, you may find that it is relatively easy to make sales by forming bonds with potential clients over your mutual love of pets.

Bottom line?

Product line, like the rest of the company, also looks pretty good.

While success certainly is not a given, there are no major cons built into the products that you will have to be selling.

Compensation

The department of compensation is where a lot of multilevel marketing companies start getting a little bit weird.

Why? There are no salaries at MLMs as every penny you earn is through commission.

pawTree is no exception in this regard.

At pawTree you make money in a couple of different ways.

The first is fairly obvious: when you sell products you get paid.

The commission here clocks in at ten percent, which is actually pretty low for an MLM.

There are plenty of companies that offer twenty, thirty, even forty percent commissions on their products.

Is this a big deal?

It’s certainly not wonderful, but if you like the product line, you may find it worthwhile to accept the smaller commission in order to work with products that you think will be easy to sell.

You can also earn money by recruiting new people into being affiliates which is the true backbone for pawTree and every other MLM out there.

Affiliate recruitment bonuses are two fold.

First, you get a bonus of seventy five dollars immediately when people sing up for the company because of you.

You also get a small percentage of the sales that they make when they work for the company.

In terms of how much money you can expect to make, this is hard to say.

If not, then PetSmart might just be the place to go.

What I Really Think

MLMs will always be MLM and no matter what product they come with, recruiting will always be the main goal for any of its affiliates.

I used to think that this was the only way out of the 9-5 grind until I found out about this thing called affiliate marketing.

So if you aren’t a single bit interested in multilevel marketing and talking your family and friends into joining your latest business venture, you might want to try selling other people’s products without having to purchase anything to start.

It’s what I do for a living and although I think MLMs are fair, there are other ways to do things.
