Is The Asea Redox Supplement Just A Saltwater Scam?

September 26, 2016 //  by John

Okay so I’m definitely not a doctor and I can not give you any scientific information regarding this product. However, in this Asea Redox review, I want to show you a lot more on what the overall business is about.

Just like any and every single multilevel marketing business out there, you will always have those that are for it (its members) and those that just can not stand them.

Oh and I forgot about people like me that couldn’t care less if you liked it or not, but still want to know more about it.

For the record, I am not affiliated with Asea. I will still give you an unbiased opinion on what I really think about this company and its products.

Product Overview

Asea is network marketing/multilevel marketing business, which is ran by Verdis Norton who has an extensive background in this type of stuff.

They launched in 2010 and introduced their product called the Asea Redox Supplement. Since then, they have created other products, so I guess you can say they have evolved.

The name “Asea” means “from the sea” and Redox derives from two words – reduction and oxidation. Pretty neat if you ask me.

Now the one thing that caught my attention was the whole, “we are not vitamin, mineral, or exotic fruit”. Then they get into the whole science and cells, which I’m sure got most of you wondering.

So if you’ve seen Kyani or any of those exotic fruit based products, you’ll know that there are so many reviews saying it works and others saying it doesn’t.

Now that we have a lot more than just a fruit, things can be a lot more confusing and might have most of you wondering even more, because I am just as curious and confused as most of you are.

Who Asea is For

The target market for this would be anyone who is looking for some type of anti aging product or someone interested in being healthy.

Now the real group of people that this is really for are those looking to do some good old network marketing.

Just like any other multilevel marketing company you’ve seen, this one comes with the recruiting and a compensation plan, to add to their product line.

Does the Asea Product Actually Work?

I really couldn’t tell you, to be honest. I am actually waiting on my order, so in the meantime, can some of you (who actually used the product) give us your testimonials?

I’m sure there are those that have benefited from this (or not) and would love to share their experience, so let’s hear it.

The Science Behind Asea Redox

redox-signalingI am no scientist and I can’t even tell you what these people are talking about in the Asea video, but I’m sure it got a lot of our attention.

Being introduced to Kyani and other super fruit type MLMs, it really got me curious when they mentioned cells and all that other stuff that you and I probably know nothing about.

Then I also heard that it was a patent, so if the whole science and cell thingy ma bob that is related to this product really does work, you can be sure that this is the only place you can get it.

To get a more scientific related information, you might want to checkout Supplement Geek’s review on Asea, as they cover more on the molecules and whatnot that are involved here.

I’m more on the business side of things, so if that’s what you’re interested in, then this is the review for you.

I almost feel like I’m doing something wrong, giving you scientific information when I am not even qualified nor do I know what I’m talking about.

Let’s get back to business shall we?

The Price for Asea

This is the part that might discourage a lot of you and that is completely understandable. I’m used to the $80 and below type MLMs, but these guys have taken it to another level.

There is actually 2 products that you can expect here and they are both going to come with a pretty hefty price tag.

* Pricing below is for a preferred customer (not retail)

  • Asea Redox Supplement (4 bottles) – $120
  • Renu 28 (1 tube) – $40
  • Renu Advanced (4 tubes) – $130

When I was introduced to the Renu line, I couldn’t help but think about the Renew lotion that I used to get from a company called Melaleuca.

The Compensation Plan

Just like any other MLM you’ve seen in the past, Asea has their pay structure as well. And just like those other companies, this one comes in a pyramid style based scale, which is why most people would call them a “pyramid scheme”.

Now the other thing that you need to understand is that this is also a recruiting based business and the amount of money you make will be determined by the people you sign up and the people that they sign up.

All of that goes into the formula of what your pay will look like. I used to be big on this until I actually found a better way to make a living.

I always had two consider two things before getting involved with an MLM.

One, the product had to be able to sell itself and it shouldn’t have to take any type of bribing to get anyone to join me.

And Two, the compensation plan has to make me the most for my investment and most especially my time. Thanks to a program called the Wealthy Affiliate, I don’t have to do any type of recruiting. Whew!

Now if you’re interested in seeing what you can make if Jill gets Joe to join and Joe gets Mary to join, then checkout the compensation plan here.

The Pros & Cons

Just like everything else out there, you will always have a good and bad side to things. Here are some of the pros and cons that I think make up Ausea.

Pros:

  • Can make you money
  • Comes with an actual product
  • Does offer a refund

Cons:

  • Pricey
  • Poor customer service
  • Requires an autoship
  • Is ran in your typical pyramid style business
  • Product is not for everyone

Complaints About Asea

Of course you’re going to have some happy and very unhappy campers when it comes to something like this.

The one thing that you’ll see floating around is people calling it “expensive salt water”.

There was also a test done and they had several people drink Asea and others drink a placebo, as well as a blood test before the exercise.

They then rode for a couple of miles and all were tested. After the ride, they reported that Asea didn’t help the riders ride any faster and it did not do what it claimed to do.

It also did not alter any exercise induced changes in immune function compared to those who took the placebo.

Is this another Kyani?

Hmmm…

There have also been complaints about poor customer service and having long wait times, but that was a while ago, so hopefully they have that sorted out.

Some people also said that the Renu28 product dries out their skin, so that might not be a good thing for those of you with sensetive skin.

Final Opinion of Asea Redox

I’m going to stay in the neutral zone here and leave this one up to you. I am not for and I am not against this product.

I am still waiting on my order, so you will be sure to get an update as soon as I take it. I’m hoping it works, to be honest, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.

But is it a Scam?

I’m going to have to say no on that one too. With a product that actually works for some people, you can’t call them a scam.

They have also been around for 6 years now and that my friend will tell you a lot about a company. Do you think companies like Amway would still be around if they were a scam?

Probably not.

So whether you like MLM or not, it’s either this is for you or it’s not. It’s more of a personal decision and something that you need to decide on for yourself.

legit

What I Really Thinks

I have no problem with MLM and I was actually looking for one to join. I have tried Kyani, Melaleuca, and Vidacup just to be disappointed.

If it’s not one problem then it’s another and I have come to the conclusion that there will not be a perfect product that comes with the perfect compensation plan.

This is also the same exact reason why I will always recommend that you start your own online business rather than waste your time like I did.

If you’re not into the whole recruiting thing, then this is definitely something you at least need to look into. It works for me and I’m sure it will work for a lot of you.

Click here to see what program I use!

Other than that, Asea is something that you need to really think about before joining. The product is not cheap and it might not actually work for you.

Now if you’re cool with paying $150/month and you think you can be the next best recruiter, then this might just be for you.

You decide.

Thanks for reading my review of Asea Redox and hopefully I have given you more information than you could possibly need to help you with your decision.

So what do you think? Is this the one?
