Is Profit Countdown a Scam? Get the Facts or Regret it Later

Last Updated: December 12, 2017 //  by John

Wouldn’t it be nice to make $1,000 per day with a done for you system?

Well that’s just one of the claims that this site has, which prompted an immediate Profit Countdown review.

So if you’re wondering if this is nothing but a scam or something that will actually work, you’ve come to the right place.

I do want to show you exactly how this whole operation works so that you know exactly what you will be getting yourself into before you pay a single penny so that if you don’t make the money you were expecting you have no one to blame but yourself.

Let me do the dirty work and breakdown yet another controversial make money from home program.

Of course you will have other members say that this is the best thing ever but I think it will only be fair to get the facts rather than some hope on something that might only be of benefit to the owner and its affiliates.

For what it’s worth, I’m sure you will find everything you need within this post, so sit back and let’s get right to it.

Profit Countdown Review

Name: Profit Countdown

Owner: Jeff Lerner

Website: http://profitcountdown.com/ld

Price: $49 + up-sells

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Product Overview

Listening very closely to their sales video, I could only think of some binary options scam due to the style of video and claims until I heard “I make money sending emails”.

That’s when I knew this was something else and it only drew me closer to actually watching the whole 12 minutes of that dang video.

So even though the timer hit zero, I still kept watching just to see what they were really selling.

Minutes after the timer went down, I realized that there wasn’t going to be any real explanation especially when they got to the pricing.

So I put in my email addy and I was kind of surprised to see that I was actually in another funnel, just like Push Button Profits, which I reviewed the other day.

To my surprise, Profit Countdown led me to Life Style Design International (LDI), which I also did a review on and you can see here.

I should’ve known by seeing Owner Jeff Lerner that this was one of his products.

Not a product but yet another sales funnel to the actual product which in this case is Lifestyle Design Network or Ultimate Laptop Lifestyle.

The Product

If you are wondering what you will be getting for the $49 you have to pay up front before getting to the real product, let’s just say that it is nothing more than some training and tools that will help you promote what you will be getting involved with.

That $49 is just the start to more spending, so if there’s one part of this review that you need to pay attention to, this would be it.

Confusing I Know, But Let Me Show You How Everything Works

Profit Countdown is really nothing more than a marketing funnel as well as the product you will be getting if you do decide to pay $49.

Remember how they mentioned that you will have “a team” that will close the sales for you?

Well that’s exactly what you saw in the whole marketing video/landing page when you ran into this site in the first place.

Once you put that email address of yours in the opt-in form that lead to the checkout page, that so called team will now be able to contact you to try to close the sale for you.

From that point on, you are now a member of the Lifestyle Design International and the Ultimate Laptop Lifestyle.

Yes you are a member but that doesn’t mean you’re ready to start making those $1,000 commissions that you saw in their marketing videos as there is one critical step before you get there.

Paying for those products yourself!

Don’t pay that $1,000 before having someone join under you and you can kiss those commissions goodbye.

Another very common tactic from these 100% commission based programs.

If you want to make any type of money, you will at the very least, need to be a paying member of Profit Countdown.

The “Done For You” System

A huge part of their marketing efforts involve the whole done for you deal.

They do the promoting, marketing, traffic, and ultimately making you sales.

As a complete newbie to the online world of making money it sounds like a bunch of awesomeness, when it’s really nothing.

Almost every high ticket, buy before you sell type of program uses this strategy, simply because it benefits them.

Sure you get the stuff they mention but everything is designed for one thing and one thing only.

To promote Profit Countdown and ultimately, Lifestyle Design International to make the big bucks.

Profit Countdown is the start of your marketing funnel, which consists of a bunch or marketing material and will eventually get your people to do the same exact thing.

What Are You Really Selling?

Unlike your typical lotions and potions businesses like Amway, Profit Countdown has nothing but digital products.

Not just digital products but rather a bunch of marketing material that is used to get people to join the same exact thing you just paid for.

In reality you’re paying for a bunch of hype that you can use to sell to others in order to make any money.

It’s really that simple and if you can understand that much then that’s really all you need to know.

Affiliate marketing is a great thing but programs that sell hopes and dreams really ruin it for anyone looking to legitimately make money online.

So is Profit Countdown a Scam?

Of course not.

You’re getting a product, you know exactly what you’re getting yourself into, and no one is forcing you to do anything.

Now if you give into the pressure then that’s really no one’s problem but yours.

I may disagree with the program all I want but this is technically a legit program although many others will disagree with me there.

Now whether or not I would recommend it is a different story.

Let’s just say I was apart of a couple of these in the past and I just can’t get anyone else to join something just so I can make money.

If it were some training on how to make money then that would be a different story but I have to disagree with the whole pay to be an affiliate in order to make money nonsense.

Thank God for programs like the Wealthy Affiliate, there is hope for those of you who want to make legitimate money online.

Give them a try and you’ll see how you can make thousands of dollars online without having to sell air to your family and friends.

Final Verdict: Not Recommended

I remember the days when I used to go around promoting sites like this, only because I already spent thousands of dollars and I figured there was no turning back.

It may sound like a really simple business model but it’s really not.

And even if it was a solid business, will you be cool with getting people to join under you just so that you can make money?

Some may not care but I’m not for any funnel/recruiting program and you will never see me promoting it just so I can make money.

Lesson learned and I’m glad I get to share my experience with you.

I hope this review has given you more than enough information so that you can make a wiser decision without feeling obligated to pull the trigger just because you had a timer ticking away

Whether you join this or not, I still wish you nothing but the best but please just be careful

If you end up putting in thousands of dollars and you lose it, remember this review and you’ll see exactly what I was talking about.

Good luck and thanks for reading!
