Is Get Paid Taking Pictures a Scam?
You really can’t blame anyone for being skeptical about something with a name like this. In fact, you are one of the lucky ones that did your research.
Here we have another Of course the name of this product will have you thinking twice about whether or not this is some type of scam. Can you really get paid taking pictures? Absolutely!
Voted “Best Work From Home Opportunity” for 2014? I have been doing reviews on a boatload of scams and I think I have seen the best of the best too. How in the world did this get under my radar? Read more into this review and you will see exactly what this is all about.
This is another product from the Clickbank marketplace, which says it in its name. So you pretty much are going to get paid uploading pictures to different sites and making money in return.
In a nutshell, this program will be showing you where you can upload your pics, to make some money in return. But of course, you will have to pay.
Who This is for
This product is targeted at someone interested in photography and most especially someone looking to make money from home. You put those two together, and you have a very targeted and hungry market.
To me, this product is designed for the completely clueless. If you don’t know a lick about online marketing and failed to do your research, you could be setting yourself up for failure.
What You Get
If you do decide to get involved with Get Paid Taking Pictures, you can expect to get some training on photography, as well as a a list of places you can go to sell your pics.
They will do nothing more than direct you to big names like Shutterstock and Fotolia, which you can signup on your own, and yes they will pay you for your photos.
Just like most products from the Clickbank Marketplace, they will run you $19 – $47. Get Paid Taking Pictures is going to cost you $27 to start before they hit you with the up-sells later in the program.
It actually starts off at $77, but gives you some little $50 coupon, which will make you think that you’re saving a ton of money, when that would’ve been the price anyways.
The price they really want you to pay would be $27, but if you try and close the window, you can get if for $19. Although this is a great marketing technique, it’s usually the shady ones that do this type of scheme.
Oh, and if you do try and close the page again, it will offer you a bonus, which is a $2000 + “free” website, if you just opt-in and give them your email addy so they can spam you later.
This is what sealed the deal for me and gave me the truth about this program. From offering a product that will make you money, to here’s a free website that has nothing to do with photography!
What’s the catch? Well there’s always a catch and this one is not some little fee either. Here is exactly how this “free website” works.
If you do decide to get this free website, you are going to have to pay for hosting and a domain name. They will refer you to some overpriced hosting provider and that is where they will get their cut.
I have given into something like this before, and I can promise you that this is a waste of time and money. There is actually only one place where you can get a website for free and this is with Site Rubix. There, you can get a completely free website, no strings attached. Other than that, there is no other place that can offer the same.
The Money Back Guarantee
This program comes with a 60 day money back guarantee. This of course will give you that much more confidence and will ultimately make you think that there is no risk involved with this.
Let me just tell you that almost every single scam comes with some type of money back guarantee and they also give you the same hassle of trying to get a refund.
I don’t care if it’s a 30 day, 90 day, or a 100% money back guarantee, don’t let that fool you. Getting a refund is like talking to the wall! So when you let this guarantee make you feel you aren’t risking anything, you might want to really think about this before diving in headfirst.
Pros & Cons
I actually didn’t like anything about this program. Whatever is being taught here as well as the sites they refer you to, can all be done for free. Here are the things that make up this scam.
- You can make money selling photos
- Targets the uneducated
- Not needed to make money selling photos
- Is a Clickbank product
- Poor training
- False advertisement
- Nothing but hype

Final Verdict: Scam! Complete nonsense and a big waste of time.
I work completely full-time online and I have seen many programs that promise many things or make your eyes open wide, making you think that you’re going to make a killing online.
Let me tell you that it is not easy to find a solid work from home program, because there are literally thousands of them out there. Here is a comparison between Get Paid Taking Pictures and an actual legit make money from home program.
This program does offer a way to make money online, but you definitely don’t need to pay to learn this type of stuff. If you want to make money selling photos, just go to Fotolia.com or Shutterstock.com and from there, you will see how you can make pennies with your pics.
If you want to make some real money online and are looking for a legit way, you need to take a look at my #1 recommendation. This is one of the few legit programs online and I know you will absolutely love what you will see.
If you have any experience with Get Paid Taking Pictures, I would love to hear your two cents. So if you don’t mind, please leave a comment below and let us know what this has done or not done for you. Cheers!
A Work at Home Jobs
“Get paid taking pictures” is terrible at returning emails from their support desk, like not at all.
All I wanted to know is what is”CBID” means, what is it? Do you need a web site and a domain name?
What I got as far as a reply was zero, other then a comment with a number for my email saying that they had received my email. A lot of good that did me. Thanks for helping out a NEWBIE. If you can help me I
would GREATLY appreciate it.
I like this site, good job.
Yeah these types of sites will never give you any support and they won’t even work. What did you need help with? If you are still trying to make money online, I got you covered! Click here to see what I Recommend.
I still don’t know what “CBID” is. What is it?
CBID stands for Click Bank ID – This is your unique ID for selling Click Bank products and getting a commision fr sales. If you are planning on selling Click Bank products you don’t need to have a site or domain because you will be sending traffic to the landing page or sales page of the product vendor.
This might seem like a good way to make money and it is except for the fact you probably lack every single component necessary to be successful.
What you need is a mentor(teacher) who will show you the steps you need to make money online and believe me, trying to promote other peoples products with no website of your own is next to impossible unless you are doing it the only other way I know that it can be done and that is something I’m experimenting with now.
If you are serious about making money with photography, http://www.PhotographyWork.info is a great place to start. It has easy, step-by-step instructions that I used to earn money from my photography. Highly recommended to anyone who loves to take pictures while making some cash with the hobby!
I’ll have to take a look at that one and see what they are all about.
I don’t think it’s a scam for the price of knowledge or saved research. if you don’t have to look for information and or you can expand upon the program as a tech or consultant. It helped me establish licesning managemnt and my own training group using the program as a guide resold in 2015.
Since this review some things have been updates and show special apps where smart phones will have a better market for cell quality vs. SLR stock. and then it comes to content. what are your shots and ideas.
It can be a skill to build portfolios, but you can outsource and license other photos and content if your not a film maker or content producer already, which I am..
I say it’s how you apply a programs knowledge. It helped me do the research to find more excellent resources and tools to take it up a notch.
Hi John, thank you for your research info. I am looking for something to work at home. It’s hard to rely on people for help. That is with two grandsons to take care of. So if you would give me more info on how to get started. John thank you for allowing us to see the SCAMS out there. One way or another it may not seem like it. I believe when you do people wrong it will come back to you it’s called KARMA. So again thank you for your research.
I also believe in Karma and I too have been scammed over and over and over again. It was not until I found a site called Wealthy Affiliate, where I realized that I was falling for all the wrong programs. The truth is, there is no get rich overnight product out there and I know this, man. All they will show you are the fat bank accounts and the fancy cars, but none of its members will make that type of money. I do suggest you give WA a shot Dorcas as I know this will work for you. It actually gives you a free trial, so you don’t even have to buy anything if you don’t want to. Check it out here and let me know what you think!
I joined wealthy affiliate and I hit a wall continually ask help from the founders and the community and got the cold shoulder sent continues message ignored complety all you get auto respond. Don’t join weathly affiliate you be scamed.
When was this? I’m a member there and I personally help thousands of people. You probably joined before I did, but I guess things have changed.
