EpicMD Review – Is Mobile MLM Healthcare Really the Future?

May 22, 2018 //  by John

Wondering if this is a scam or a legit company you should get involved with?

Well, this EpicMD review will give you all the information you need before you make any decisions that will either leave you in regret or feeling that you have to stick with it since you already invested.

Too often do I find myself jumping into things without thinking it through and I believe I’ve learned my lesson.

At least that’s what I think until someone approaches me with the latest and greatest opportunity.

Same thing happened when I first found Melaleuca and it also happened when the Bitcoin MLM ponzi schemes arrived on the scene.

So first we had the fancy facial creams, then the travel gigs, then the crypto currency hype and now, tele-health?

I don’t know about you but I was already skeptical from the get-go but I at the very least had to give this company the benefit of the doubt as they might actually have something worth your money.

Will the be nothing but hype or do these guys really have something going here?

We shall see…

EpicMD Review

EpicMD is a multilevel marketing company that claims to have “the best doctors on Earth”.

The difference with these doctors is that they don’t work out of a normal clinic but rather through their tele-health business.

Founded by Matt Wanderer, this tele-health company is the first of its kind and they feature health care at your fingertips.

Along with this healthcare by phone service, they have a money making opportunity attached to the end of it and the number one reason why there is so much hype behind it.

The Products

There is no actual product with EpicMD but rather a service that can be marketed so that you can receive a compensation.

The way it works is also supposed to be very simple as you simply get signed up, see your doctor, and get your prescription if need be.

I have not tried this yet so I can’t really tell you on whether or not this service is as good as they say it is.

How Much it Costs to Join EpicMD

With EpicMD, I thought it was going to be $49 but I knew there was more to that.

That price is just to cover a regular membership but that doesn’t allow you to make any money.

To become an affiliate with EpicMD, you will need to cough up $749 or $1,499 and then pay a yearly fee of $99.

You supposedly get some training on how to promote the business but I don’t see anything justifying the cost of this program.

Maybe this is strictly for compensation to its members, to pay the doctors, or maybe just a way for the owners to make more money?

Very typical but not something I am a fan of.

The Compensation Plan

Here is where all the money making happens and why anyone would even promote this in the first place.

This also wouldn’t be multilevel marketing without having any levels.

As an affiliate you will make 20% of any direct referrals with that percentage decreasing after every level, up to five levels deep.

  • Level 1 – 20%
  • Level 2 – 10%
  • Level 3 – 5%
  • Level 4 – 4%
  • Level 5 – 3%

On top of this, you are also able to recruit doctors, which will also yield the same amount of commissions as you would if you were to recruit a regular affiliate.

Your work as a single affiliate also gets broken down into group volume, which will also get you paid

There are 5 ranks in this part of the compensation plan and all require a certain group volume to qualify.

  1. Manager – Accumulate $10,000 in affiliate fees in a calendar month or generate $30,000 within a four month period.
  2. Executive – Accumulate $50,000 in affiliate fees in a calendar month or generate $150,000 over a four month period.
  3. Director – Accumulate $100,000 in affiliate fees in a calendar month or generate $300,000 over a four month period.
  4. Regional Director – Accumulate $200,000 in affiliate fees in a single calendar month or generate $600,000 over a four month period.
  5. National Marketing Director – Accumulate $300,000 in affiliate fees in a single calendar month or generate over $1,000,000 over a four month period.

Bonuses

On top of the compensation plan you are also eligible for different bonuses.

As a National Director, you will earn an additional 2% on top of your overall group volume.

And if you are an executive or higher, EpicMD will pay up to $800 towards the car of your choice.

Now if you are a director or higher, you also get an undisclosed amount of the overall profit that the entire company makes.

There is also a tracking equity bonus but there wasn’t much information on this.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • New company
  • Can get you prescriptions from home
  • Backed by some big names in the industry
  • Decent compensation plan

Cons:

  • Most people still would rather see a doctor in real life
  • Way too pricey for nothing tangible
  • Requires recruiting in order to make money

Final Verdict: Ehhhh

EpicMD is not a scam but something you need to be very careful about.

I just don’t see how an actual doctor will give up their pay to do something like EpicMD unless they are planning to refer all their clients to their MLM business.

That doesn’t sound right but that is a completely different ballgame when you start getting doctors involved and risking pay.

Aside from that, I haven’t heard any complaints but that is simply because the company just started and it isn’t something that can really be complained about unless you aren’t getting paid.

At the end of the day, this is just another network marketing business that requires you to recruit others in order to make money.

If recruiting is your thing and you are interested in the whole telehealth deal, then this might just be for you.

What I Really Think

Network marketing will ALWAYS be around and there is nothing wrong with it.

I have personally been apart of several MLM companies and they are what they are.

They are not for everyone and they are not the only way for you to become your own boss and make money from home either.

Thanks to something like affiliate marketing, you can definitely make money from home without having to play the whole recruiting game.

If that’s something you might be interested in, you might want to give that a try.

Other than that, I hope this EpicMD review has helped you understand what this company is really about so that you can make a smarter decision.

Not one to tell you what to do but do you think this is a solid network marketing company to get involved with?

Share your thoughts in the comments section below, especially if you are a current member.

Cheers!
