So I have been getting an email about this site at least every hour and just now I finally decided to do my research and put together a Empowr review to not only learn more about this for myself, but to give you a better understanding of what this is all about.
Before I go any further, please don’t get this mistaken for the Empower Network, because they are two totally different things.
With a site so confusing as this, I must admit that I too did not understand how everything worked and I am probably still confused (lol).
All I knew was that I get all types of email telling me that I have a balance of $36 and all that type of stuff that I’m sure a lot of you get.
Without doing a single thing besides working on my own online business, there is just no way I could possibly be making money from this program.
With some help from its members as well as my own experience, I have put together this review to give you more insight on something obviously too good to be true.
Empowr Review
Name: Empowr
Owners: Michael Pousti & Brandie Williams
Website: www.empowr.com
Price: Free
Overall Rating: 1/5 stars
What Exactly is Empowr?
That is a great question and one that I could not get just from a spam email. Come to find out, it’s a social network designed to “make you money”.
Product Overview
I’m sure the owners of this site are one of those that are apart of many make money from home groups and had to deal with Facebook’s new rules.
So rather than going to FB jail, they have created this site for you to post your links on stuff that you couldn’t post on FB.
Yes, that was the initial plan, but after getting a good amount of people to join, they have shifted gears and now added other things that have probably ruined everything.
How Did I Even Create an Empowr Account That Has Money?
This is the big question and just like you, I really didn’t know how I had money in my account when I never deposited a single cent let alone signup to this site.
That my friend is not only irritating, but it is a marketing strategy that will not fly.
“You earned $25”
“See who liked your photo”
You might have seen this type of stuff in your inbox and I’m sure most of you have clicked it out of pure curiosity.
Someone liked my photo?
I haven’t even created an account here so I don’t know how in the world someone is going to like a photo that isn’t even there.
If and when I do join a site, I almost never put up a profile pic simply because I just wanted to see what they were about before I invested any money.
So first you have these irritating marketing strategies, which probably got a lot of people to get on the actual site and start doing what it told them to do.
It all begins with “Start here” and then all of a sudden you get curious because of the directions given to you on the site.
Now most of you probably only care about making money and that is completely fine as that is what everyone and their mothers are on this site for in the first place.
How You Make Money With Empowr
Of course it’s free to join Empowr as I’m sure a lot of you have joined without even knowing. So to get started, it is going to cost you $0.
Just like you, I’ve seen these “earnings” show up in “my account” and I didn’t know how it got there.
Supposedly, these earnings are from other people viewing my posts. The thing is, I have not posted a single thing on this site and I don’t even know how I logged in!
Now the main goal for every single member is to make money, right? In order for that to happen you will have to get involved with their ad credit system, on top of clicking on other people’s posts.
You can either pay “on-time” or “pay later”, with there of course being an incentive with the option of paying up-front.
By paying now, you earn double from posts and surge earnings as well as 50% of your ad platform fee back immediately.
All I see here is an attempt to get a lot of people to pay so that there’s actual money in the site that they can use to distribute to its members.
Word on the street is that the site will take over 90% of your balance, so you won’t be taking everything that you see in your account.
This is one of the many complaints about this site, so you might want to read what other people have to say.
Complaints About Empowr
There are many complaints about this site and the main one being that people have never even created an account but they all of a sudden have one and it has money in it.
I really thought it was from one of the many scam sites I opt-in to, but if other people are making these claims, then it might very well be something I didn’t approve of.
Many complaints about Empowr automatically taking money from their banks has got to be the biggest concern for most of you.
What sucks is that you have to put your payment information into your account in order to withdraw your money. It seems like this has been another sleezy way to get you to automatically pay without your consent.
Some Things I Actually Liked About Empowr
I know it may seem that I like nothing about this site, but there are some things that I actually did like.
First, the site looks great. If the money never took over the owner’s goals, I think this would’ve gone a lot further than where it’s headed.
Did you know there’s an app for Empowr? If you didn’t, now you do. After finding that out, I had to see how this thing looked on a mobile device and I must say that it is actually pretty cool looking, but that’s about it.
What sucks is that everyone on this app are in it to try and make money, which takes away from the normal socializing that you would normally do on your typical social sites.
The site seems like there was a lot of work put into it. It was a little confusing in the beginning, but with their little “Learn How” tab blinking, I found my way around the site.
Final Opinion of Empowr
Don’t do it. There are just too many complaints about this and I really don’t see this benefiting anyone but the owners.
Things aren’t natural (like it should be) and it is all based around people doing things to try and make money rather than doing it because it’s fun.
I give this site two thumbs down and not something to recommend to family and friends.
What I Really Think
We all want to make money online and I’m sure almost all of you want to find the easiest way possible.
Although I have found some really easy ways to do it, not a single one of them has lasted longer than a year.
All that will do for you is make you a couple bucks here and there, but it will eventually fade. Owners will make their money, program will shutdown, and that will leave you looking for the next best thing.
Do yourself a favor and invest your hard earned money and most especially your valuable time into something that will actually work now and for as long as the internet is around.
I have been apart of many “opportunities” in my online career and I can tell you that they are almost all the same.
After falling for scams and wasting my time on penny earning type sites, I finally decided to put in the work that is needed to be successful online and it has paid off in less than two years.
If you are interested in doing the same, you definitely need to try my #1 recommendation. This program is by far the best one out there and it can and will create some life changing stuff.
Click here to see for yourself!
Other than that, I wouldn’t waste my time trying to make other people rich with sites like this. Thanks for reading my review and I wish you nothing but the best.
Whether you decide to continue with Empowr or not, I wish you nothing but the best. If you have any questions about this site or any other make money from home type programs, feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
Cheers!
