Wondering if this is a scam? This Crypto Mafia review will show you exactly what this whole site is about before you invest a single penny.
Of course Bitcoin is still being heavily promoted years after several millionaires were created and I hate seeing people give into hype hoping to be the next overnight success.
There are literally thousands of sites like this on the net and they all have the same goals in mind and I’m sure you’re not apart of any of it besides being another contributor.
I’m not affiliated with this system, nor I am here to praise it, but I do want to provide my honest and unbiased opinion regarding this so you can decide if this is for you or not.
So let’s begin.
Crypto Mafia Review

About Crypto Mafia
There is absolutely no information on the actual website that tells you who owns it or who is currently running it either.
It is a fairly new site (was launched on 30th December, 2016), so there is minimal information about this site around the web.
However, I have managed to dig some things up from under the carpet.
According to their Social Media Facebook page, there are 4 admins and I can also see that Crypto Mafia is in a close relationship with another website that goes by the name of Millionaire Mafia.
The owner of Millionaire Mafia (Ben Oberg) has described Crypto Mafia as being “the uneducated way of obtaining bitcoin”.
Hmmm…
Product Overview
If you haven’t already guessed it, Crypto Mafia focuses on bitcoins and Cryptocurrency.
There are no products that are available for purchase on the actual website, so members can only market the affiliate membership if they wish to do so.
Basically, Crypto Mafia is a subscription service and you are required to make a “donation” to their system before you are allowed to use the digital service that they provide.
The digital service is actually a Bitcoin platform and that is it.
This service makes it easier to transfer coins over for business and other everyday activities but with sites like Coinbase that is already available.
And it’s free!
So they say that there content/service is highly valuable and you will be joining a website of like-minded people who also want to grow and keep up with the ever-changing, fast-paced world.
Crypto Mafia is also available for anyone to use, no matter where you are in the world.
All you need is an internet connection and a Bitcoin wallet to start gaining all the benefits that this site offers.
Payments can only be made to other members by using Bitcoin though, so obviously you can see who this is really for.
Levels
When you sign up, you will start at level 1.
Each level requires you to contribute to the service in order to continue using it.
Each level has a different contribution amount that needs to be paid and payments are due every single month.
So you aren’t really “donating” (like they say), you are actually paying them to stay subscribed in case you get other people to join.
To increase your levels you need to recruit more people into your downline, which I’ll cover more on below.
The Compensation Plan
Yes, as like most marketing schemes online, there is a compensation plan.
The compensation plan consists of a 3×7 matrix, which means that you are placed in a nice little position ready to earn money through a pyramid type model.
It is incredibly difficult to explain how it all works, but basically it is a numbers game.
Recruiting is the name of the game
The more people you recruit into the system the more Bitcoins you can make and of course, those Bitcoins can be converted into real money, which really has me shaking my head.
Programs like this talk so badly about real money when you have to use it in order to obtain any type of bitcoin.
This makes zero sense.
As long as you are actively recruiting people into the system and keeping your subscription service up/contributing on a monthly basis, then you might have a chance of earning from your downline.
You have to remember that you are funding your monthly payments to your up-line, so if you aren’t getting anyone in your downline, you are losing out and completely wasting your time.
Your downline will have to be paying customers for you to start profiting as well, so there’s no point in recruiting freebie-seekers from social media.
What to Lookout For
MLM “businesses” like these don’t last long and the members that get in from the very start are the people that make 90% of the money.
If it sounds too good to be true, then it usually is and that holds true to the world of making money online.
Even though they show all those fancy numbers, they make it look it is super easy to reach them as long as you keep getting people to sign up under you.
But as you may or may not know, getting a friend or family member to sign up isn’t easy, and even if you manage to get them in, the chances for them to actually pay is even lower.
Who Crypto Mafia Is For
This is really for no one.
Maybe the completely uneducated or desperate, but this is not for anyone looking to build a solid online business.
You will need a website that is getting thousands of page views a day to see any traction in your downline, or a massive email list of subscribers that will actually sign up through your link and start paying.
If you have one of the two above, then it could be for you if you’re fine with promoting nothing.
Pricing & Purchase Details
You will need to pay a small fee when you first sign up if you want to become apart of the compensation plan and begin recruiting others.
This fee is 0.002 BTC, which goes to the person directly above you.
AKA, the person who introduced this to you.
This is how much you have to pay as a level 1 member and when you start moving up the levels, the price will go up as well.

Final Rating: Just another website trying to bank off of the Bitcoin hype that is not going to be around for as long as people think.
So is Crypto Mafia a Scam?
Scam is a very strong word and as much as others would like to say it is, I’m going to be neutral here because they have some type of “service”.
Now whether I would recommend it or not is a different story.
There aren’t many legitimate ways to make money online but there are thousands of these digital currency driven sites out there exactly like this one.
Most are a waste of time with the owner benefitting the most and that is exactly what I see going on here.
I do not recommend this to anyone, no matter how desperate you are to make money online, so please proceed at your own risk and do know that you have been warned.
What I Recommend
I have been apart of this hype at a very early point in my online career and it really doesn’t look like they will stop creating new ones.
These types of sites will come and go at a very fast pace until people realize that they are truly wasting your time.
If you are looking for a legitimate way to make money online recruiting other people to purchase the same thing you just did is not going to work.
After a while you’ll get this feeling that you are really just tricking people to join just so you can make money.
Why not offer other people something with real value?
How about giving them something they are already looking for?
If that is something you might be interested in, you definitely need to try a program called the Wealthy Affiliate.
Thanks to that program I not only made money online, but I now work from home full-time, selling other people’s products.
Forget about these digital currency sites that offer nothing but hype and create something that you can be proud of.
Other than that, thanks for reading my Crypto Mafia review and I hope it has been of great help to you.
