Network marketing is said to not be for everyone but I think otherwise and you should too.
For whatever reason you want to do network marketing, there’s nothing I can tell you besides don’t let anyone tell you to do and go with what YOU want to do.
I would like to let it be known that it is not the only way to make a lot of money but it is a way and it is what I want to discuss today.
For those of you nonsocial butterflies, maybe something like affiliate marketing will suit you better, so don’t limit yourselves and most especially don’t feel tied down to just one thing as I’m all about multiple streams and making more money as long as it’s legal and legit.
So if you are looking to make money as a network marketer, let me show you how I was able to take it by the horns and actually make the type of money that most will never make.

First Things First, Change Your Mentality
Naturally we are all taught to go down the same paths and that is what I personally think is not for everyone.
Go to school, get a job, and work on building out that retirement
or…
go to college, get that degree, and once again, build out that retirement.
Keep thinking that way and I can promise you that you will not come close to being the best network marketer no matter what you try to do.
I get it, you need to bring in money, especially to pay for your monthly products but keep it as that fuel to build your network marketing business.
Your PRIORITY should be your business if that’s what you want to succeed in.
If you want to be the best brown noser at work then come to work an hour early and be the last one to leave.
That’s really all you need to do to succeed at any job.
As a network marketer or businessman, not so much and that’s what makes us different from everyone else.
We think differently and that’s why we are entrepreneurs.
Find YOUR Company
Network marketing is usually done by someone you know introducing you to THEIR company and THEIR marketing might have been on point, which is why you ended up joining them and that is okay.
For whatever reasons you are with that company, I’m sure they are good reasons, but is that what you really want to promote?
Is that the product that YOU actually like.
Don’t be one of those in MLMs like ItWorks that have no belly fat whatsoever, trying to get you to join them and their opportunity.
I’m not saying it won’t work but come on now.
There are literally over a thousand of network marketing companies out there and although you might have never heard of them before, they do exist.
I don’t care if you like the whole healthy lifestyle of if you want something like Melaleuca that has everything but the kitchen sink for your household, I’m sure you can find something that YOU actually like.
Don’t be scared to hurt anyone’s feelings because THEY want to make money.
Focus on yourself and think about what you want.
Branding
You are a face and you are a brand, whether you like it or not.
Some of you might be a gamer and “snipeyou48759300” was probably your username.
Well guess what?
That’s your brand.
Those of you that have served in the military had some type of callsign to identify you and that my friend would also be your brand.
So if they called you Snake Eyes, then that my friend would be your brand.
In the world of network marketing, you are your brand.
There’s no need to come up with some crazy name like “network marketing queen” (although that sounds cute) as you simply just need to represent what you stand for.
We’ve been branding ourselves since we were kids and we continue to do so for the rest of our lives.
Brand yourself and promote the crap out of it.
Get With the Program
This day and age is nothing compared to what things were like in the 90’s.
The work and effort that the big names in MLM used to do is exhausting and I can assure you that they have evolved or at least we’d like to hope so.
For people like you and me, we have this thing called the world wide web, which most people like to call the internet.
How did you find this post in the first place?
On the internet of course.
I don’t care if you’re a shy person or if you’re the loudest friend in your group, the internet levels the playing field for every walk of life.
Forget about being that awkward “businessman” talking to people in public about how your opportunity is the best thing out there and how it has the best compensation plan on the planet.
It’s not worth it.
I’m sure every old school technique will still work but utilize what technology has provided for us and pick and choose from the billions of people on the internet every single day.
Social media is beyond powerful and by simply launching one simple ad can grab you hundreds of leads a week, which I’m sure is almost impossible in the real world.

There are many other ways to get prospects but Facebook is definitely the easiest to work with and will cost you the least money.
Build Your Team
Most people focus on themselves and that is how they fail at network marketing in the first place.
How do I get more people to see my offer?
How do I make more sales?
How do I find more leads?
Getting one person to join you is half the battle but keeping them around is actually just as important, if not most important.
Most people tend to worry about that after the fact when it’s something you need to focus on ALL THE TIME.
Lose one and there goes one leg of your foundation that you need to replace.
In the world of multilevel marketing, you need to remember that every single person that you bring in as well as who they bring in is only going to help you.
Helping THEM is critical to your business and this is the time where you need to not worry about YOU.
As humans, we can see right through a fake person and we know when you’re only in things just to make yourself money.
Selfishness is the best way to fail at any business even before you get started, so help those you bring in and everything will fall into place.
Help, Not Sell
Sigh.
I know we all want to make money and throwing out or products seem like the best thing to do, right?
I used to think that my products will sell themselves when I got my start in MLM but everyone and their mothers know what multilevel marketing is and they knew exactly what I was up to.
Remember what I said about picking the product for YOU?
Well that right there comes into play here too.
“Hey have you seen my new fancy facial cream that will make you rich by tomorrow?”
That’s exactly what you should NOT do if you want to become better at network marketing.
Find a problem and provide the solution for that problem whether it be your product or the financial aspect of network marketing, but remember to always help before selling anything.

Are You Investing into Your Business?
Looks like it’s that time of the month again, and I don’t mean that thing you women go through.
I’m talking about that monthly payment that goes into your so called products that allow you to run your network marketing business that makes you thousands of dollars.
I don’t know how many months have to go by before you, as a network marketer actually realizes that you have not offered your opportunity to anyone else.
People need what you have and you need to get out there and start showing it to the world.
Instead of scrolling through Instagram making other people rich, use that medium and start grabbing more leads instead.
