5 Tips To Finding Legitimate Jobs Online

Last Updated: December 21, 2018 //  by John

Let me just tell you that almost every “opportunity” online is nothing but garbage. Today I want to show you a couple of tips on how you can find legit jobs that will actually make you money.

These tips have helped me jumpstart my online career and I’m pretty sure it will do you good too. Follow these tips and you will have no problems getting scammed in the online world.

1. If it Seems too Good to be True, Then It Usually is

This rule more than applies to the online world and most especially with the thousands of make money online programs out there.

Once you see a big dollar figure, you might want to push that one to the side. I don’t care how curious you get, forget about that one.

2. You Do Not Need to Pay Before You Work

I don’t know how paying before you work is considered a job. I mean, aren’t you trying to work so that you can make money?

Unless you’re starting an online business, there should be no reason why you need to pay before you start any type of online job.

I don’t care if it’s taking surveys, there shouldn’t be a fee to get started. DO NOT pay before you start working. Most often, these are nothing but scams.

3. Search Forums

There are forums all over the internet that have people talking about different types of jobs and they will tell you exactly what works and what doesn’t.

For the most part, other people have asked questions that you may have, so you’ll find answers from those that have already trolled the net looking for answers.

4. Getting Personal

There will be some companies that ask for too much information and you need to figure out what you really should be giving.

For starters, you should not be entering any type of bank information and most especially not your social security number.

5. Talk to a Real Person

Most online jobs require you to talk to someone due to the nature of the job. If you are applying for a position as a virtual assistant, I think you need to know who you are assisting before any type of assisting takes place.

The initial process usually requires some very basic information, and then you would be contacted by the person hiring.

The process also starts on sites like Odesk.com, which is a great indicator that the jobs you will be applying for are legitimate.
