Drones are a awesome and what’s even better is the fact that you can make money with them.
I remember my first encounter of a drone and immediately thinking it was a UFO.
I pulled over to the side of the road and started recording my little UFO sighting.
Come to find out that my neighbor got in on the latest and greatest of RC trends, and I was the joke of the evening.
Talk about losing my mind!
As a hobbyist, it’s fun to just go out there, get your drone off the ground, and capture some crazy view from up above.
Why not cash in on something you actually love doing?
Today there are people making big bucks with their drones and I want to share some of these ways with you.
Who knows, maybe you might just make your living off of drones.
Taking Awesome Pics
This of course will be the obvious but I want to show you where and how to make the big bucks.
There are many companies and events that want and need a photography service, but not everyone can capture these moments through the air.
Sure there are many people doing this, but how many are doing it where you’re from?
It’s a trend that is sweeping across the world and there are many people trying to get a piece of the pie.
Weddings are huge and you’d be crazy not to get a piece of that loan the couple just got.
Not to sound greedy or anything, but they have the money and they are willing to spend a good chunk o change to get the best services for their big day.
But that’s not all.
You can take pics of real estate property that I’m sure real estate agents and brokers are willing to pay good money for.
You can also sell your pics to sites like Shutterstock.com and make some money there too.
Photography is a huge market and there are so many niches in just that alone.
Weddings, real estate, construction businesses, school pics, etc.

Even Amazon Makes Money With Drones
Did you know that Amazon actually launched their drone delivery service?
Well they did.
Amazon Prime Air did its first delivery service using a drone in December of 2016 and it actually worked out pretty well.
The drone runs on its own through GPS, flying below 400 feet and carrying packages that weigh up to 5 lbs.
The first delivery took 30 minutes to complete, which is the fastest time that any customer has ever received a package that was ordered through Amazon.
Not like Amazon needs to make anymore money, but this works very well as far as customer satisfaction is concerned.
However, you can also see Amazon’s Drone Guide to see the many types of drones out there to get some ideas for your next drone project.
Make Money Talking About Drones
If you have a true passion for this and not just playing with it on your spare time, this is one amazing opportunity.
Create a blog, share your thoughts and ideas with other people, and make money.
Of course there’s a lot more to it than that, so I recommend you use sites like the Wealthy Affiliate which has everything you need to create, run, and make money with your blog.
Making money with something you are truly passionate about is a great thing and the internet is a great place to do just that.
I do it and many other people are doing it, so obviously it’s working.
Drone Racing Anyone?
I’m definitely not an expert in this department, but I know that ESPN even covered a drone racing event, (according to Marketwatch.com) and it was huge!
With a billion dollar industry it is really easy to gain attention and yes, it is very much possible to make money racing drones and a lot of it at that.
If people are getting paid millions of dollars to play games, there is no reason why you can’t make millions racing a drone.
I mean, look at this video for example, this event was really, really big!
Sponsors from all over flocked to the event and I’m sure those racers got sponsored right off the bat.
There are many drone racing events all over the world and I’m sure you can get started by attending one in your area.
Once you feel you’re ready for the bigger stage you can take your skill to a higher level and maybe even land yourself a sponsor.
Not a bad deal if you ask me.
Make Money Doing Drone Reviews
This drone rocks.
This drone sucks.
How about making money doing product reviews online?
With affiliate marketing, the earning potential doing simple product reviews is through the roof.
If you’re the subject matter expert for drones, you can make a killing by doing a simple explanation of different products.
There is just so much potential within the industry and these are just some of them.
What Can a Drone do For You?
I’m not the biggest drone enthusiast, but my kids love playing with them.
It still amazes me with what these things can capture so they serve a great purpose for many people.
There are more than enough ideas from this post to get you up and running, so get out there and make some money.
You might not be the best drone racer, but I’m sure you can find a better way to make a living from it.
There are normal people out there making thousands of dollars sharing their interest with the online world and I’m sure you can do it too.
Whatever the case may be, don’t let the opportunity pass you by.
Drones might not be around forever, but you can definitely cash in on the trend.
Wait, what am I talking about?
Drones WILL be here forever!
If RC’s can survive, nothing will ever beat something that goes in the air showing you the world through a bird’s eyes.
Drones are awesome and I hope that this post has helped you scrape up some ideas that will help you make some money.
Good luck and I wish you the best.
Cheers!
