Make Money Blogging With Your Passion Or Don’t Blog At All

Ever wonder how people are making money with their passion online?

Well if you didn’t, do know that they are and they’re making a lot of it at that.

There aren’t many jobs out there that will pay you for doing something you actually enjoy and the world wide web is one of the few places that will actually do just that.

I have been making money with my passion online for the past three years and I get to spend a week in Las Vegas with some of the people who do exactly like I do.

Not a bad gig, right?

The beauty about all this is the fact that we all make our living talking about things we actually have an interest in and of course we work from home or wherever we want.

As a matter of fact, I’m actually doing this post at a coffee shop while I kill some time before I got to get my kids.

Best job in the world I tell ya, and I would love to share exactly how I’m able to do this.

So How do We Make Money With Our Passion?

We share it with others.

Yup, we do nothing more than talk about photography, MMA, parenting, and whatever in the world it is that you find enjoyment in.

Every single one of us has some type of problem that we need help with and rather than turning to a friend or buying a book, we tend to turn to the internet for advice.

I mean, everything in Google has to be the best information, right?

Not really, but this works in our favor and I think you might like the overall concept.

Behind Every Search, There is Money to be Made

I’m sure we’ve all “Googled” something online and it usually comes in the form of a “how to” or “_____ review”.

“How to bake a cake”

“How to fly a drone”

“Best BBQ pits”

Whatever the search may be, we have all done it in our lifetime as not only do we live in this thing called the information age, but we rely heavily on the internet for help and advice.

Sometimes hanging out our dirty laundry is not the best thing to do, so we ask our good old buddy Google.

Did you know that upon performing a search you may have landed on a site geared towards making a normal person like you and me money?

That person provided you with some valuable information and in some cases landed you on Amazon.com or some site you had no intention of visiting.

Whether you purchased a product or not, that person has most likely made money (thanks to you) and you didn’t even know it.

I give you information, you give me money.

Not literally, but in a way that only an online marketer would know.

The obvious.

Some sites came with an ad or two (sometimes way more) and by simply clicking on one of those ads someone most likely made money.

This is very much true and probably the easiest way to make money with your passion.

Not the most effective way to do things, but if you can get someone to click on an ad, you can definitely get rewarded especially with Google’s technology and their displaying of relevant ads to what people are interested in.

This is just one of the ways you can make money with your passion and a very easy one too.

Affiliate Marketing

I’m not too sure if you’ve ever heard of a thing called affiliate marketing, but it’s what people like me use to make our living from the internet.

And yes, it is through our passion that we are able to make this money.

By simply taking other people’s products and promoting them on a website, you can make tons of money by sharing it with the online world.

Being a parent, I have developed a passion for raising children and of course buying the different products that I have created a site on the “parenting” niche.

This site above makes me money and I do nothing but talk what dad’s do or need help with and a lot of the times I make most of my money doing product reviews, which is beyond a great way to get traffic to your site.

By talking about something I enjoy doing, I am able to make my living completely from the internet, which is truly an amazing business that I’m sure you’ll find to be the same.

I went from a ground pounding infantryman, to becoming a full-time blogger.

I was never into writing and I had no clue as to what blogs were even about, but all I knew (at least thought I knew) was that people were creating blogs and talking about their lives and sharing it online.

All this time, I didn’t know that you could make money blogging.

Some good money too!

I was never into the whole blogging thing, but I did some research and landed on some site that taught me about affiliate marketing.
