Is Investing Into Your Business Holding You Back From Really Succeeding?

Last Updated: December 12, 2017 //  by John

Investing is critical to any business and the same things apply to the online world.

Most people come in for a free ride and can’t seem to get anything going simply because they just don’t know any better.

Making money online is an amazing thing and there are many opportunities, trainings, and all kinds of material on the web to get you to financial success.

Depending on your goals, any level of success can be achieved but it’s really all on a matter of your network and how much you are willing to do to take things to that next level.

Being in the industry for about 3 years, I have seen so many people come and go and it’s really sad when it happens.

Some experience, some success and either plateau or get pushed back down the hill is what usually happens.

Achieving different levels of success is determined by many different things but I want to discuss two of which I feel are most important.

Work ethic and Investing.

As a businessman (on or offline), you need to invest two things in order to make it and work is usually the backbone of all success.

Period.

Investing money comes next and this is a HUGE factor on where you end up a year or 10 years from now and most people are too cheap causing them to get nowhere.

Invest, Invest, Invest

Every single business can improve and yours is no different.

Amazon is the biggest online retailer and as online marketers, I’m sure none of you are making more money than that one site alone.

But guess what Jeff Bezos does every single time?

He invests.

How in the world is a billionaire looking to invest more, still trying to make more when he already has more than anyone we know?

It’s quite simple actually and it’s the same exact recipe that got him to where he is in the first place.

Opening jobs for others by creating the Amazon delivery program and then using the drone service are just a few ideas and I can promise you that he’s still thinking of his next move.

Sure he has his team of experts taking on most of the tasks but whether he’s thinking of things on his own or hiring someone to do it, you can bet that he invested to make it happen.

There’s Always Room For Improvement

Whether you’re at your first $1 online or you’re at $10k/month, there is always room for you to grow.

There comes a point in anyone’s business where things kind of plateau and eventually causes you to become complacent.

Remember what it took for you to make that first sale?

Does breaking out of your comfort zone ring a bell?

Well that’s what was needed and that is what I, myself did.

As an online marketer, we get to a point where we get back into our comfort zones and things kind of plateau or even go down and it absolutely sucks.

You can let this happen or you can reinvest to make more money and grow your business like you set out to do in the first place.

Quit Being Cheap

Making enough money to live comfortably I actually decide to “reinvest” and boy was I still being comfortable and actually really lost.

I hired several writers for my site, paying them $10-$15 per 1,000 words and simply publishing it to my affiliate marketing site thinking that would do the job.

Not even going over any of the work they provided, I published articles that weren’t anywhere close to my standard.

My income started to reflect the poor quality of work and ultimately my readers started to lose interest and most especially trust.

Just because I was “investing” didn’t mean I was doing it the right way.

Another big mistake in my career but I’m not ashamed to admit it because I learned a huge lesson and it will only help me.

Quality Over Quantity

Can you give me one situation where quantity actually beats quantity?

There are some, but when it comes to business, quality will always win.

I can sell 10,000 crappy products today and that would be awesome, but once word gets out that I have the worst inventory, you can expect that to be my last hoorah.

No one will trust me and eventually I’ll be back to the drawing board trying to see what to do next.

You see where I’m going with this?

Conclusion

Invest, But Invest Right.

If you start to get comfortable, that’s a great sign that you need to evolve, put in more work, and take a step back to evaluate your situation.

I don’t care how much you’re making right now, there’s always room to grow no matter what.

As a network marketer are you making the most out of your leads?

Are you getting many people interested but you just can’t seem to close the deal?

Are you even using a customer relationship management tool?

There are hundreds of ways to improve in marketing and I’m sure that over 90% of all marketers aren’t using simple tools to help with things.

Simple investments can make the biggest differences, so you really need to get with the program.

Just like you, I didn’t know any better but I am glad to share some valuable information from this post, so please do put them to use and you’ll increase in every aspect of your business.

Thanks for reading and good luck!
